Pick up was great. Rico, who was helping me, was an absolute pleasure. However, driving off the lot was the worst experience. It took me close to 45 mins to leave. It was the slowest process to leave. Will never be renting a car from LAX again.Reviewed Oct 13 2024

Didn't like anything the price was too much I paid too much after I put it on the side and it tells me just this amount and when I get there they charged me almost $600 plus the car was not comfortable inside the seats were dirty Sophie's roadside feeds deductible feeds personal protection feeds Municipal text fees airport Access fees facility charge fees energy feeds license fee vehicle access fee I don't even know what the hell is that I think they charge every fee there is in a book my experience with Thrifty never againReviewed Oct 12 2024

One hour wait time to pick up vehicle - unable to use online check in as cars were extremely oversold. Was directed to an area with no available cars only to wait longer to get more assistance. We had to change our drop off due to Hurricane Milton and cancelled flights. I called customer service to advise and they said there would be no charge because we were being impacted by the hurricane. They charged. They doubled the agreed upon rate. DOUBLED. Liars. Terrible. Just pay the extra $20-40 and go with Alamo. They were not ready with our car, they were not giving updates, we waited an hour. Finally we went to the Alamo counter and asked how quickly we could get a car... it was immediately. I tried to cancel my thrifty reservation that was free to cancel and the chat support was giving me attitude and not allowing me to cancel. After some back and forth I called and canceled with ease. Not good at all. When I arrive there, they said I canceled my car in January when I had just booked it two weeks before so then they found me another car and of course the price went up. And then there was all these other added fees. Then when I returned the car, I got three bills, and one bill was added $300 more than the other. Still trying to take care of this.
