Pros: My wife and I stayed at the Palace many years ago and this stay was the first under Lotte's ownership. It's a big hotel, so it lacked the intimacy of some place like the Lowell Carlyle or the Plaza Athenee. That said, it's considerably less expensive, unless you are in the Towers. What I found remarkable was the consistency of staff attitude. Friendly, appropriately personal, attentive, and helpful.
Cons: $50 for a simple breakfast (farro porridge with fruit, coffee, and a freshly made vegetable juice, was a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it) for New York. Delicious for sure, but pricey.
Pros: Beautiful hotel, incredible view and far enough away from the craziness of Times Square but a pretty easy walk to wherever you want to go. I was skeptical because of the deal we got on hotels.com but it was an awesome spot!
Cons: No closet in the hotel room.
Pros: Decor, location, cleanliness
Cons: $16.00 for wifi
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location! Loved my stay there!!
Cons: Charging 16.00 per day for wifi is insane
Pros: Our room directly overlooked St. Patrick's Cathedral and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious (unusual for NY), clean and comfortable. There's a wonderful café right off the beautiful hotel lobby for specialty coffees and French pastries, and the fitness center is amazing. Plenty of bar/restaurants within walking distance, as are many of the tourist attractions such as Rock Center. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will look into staying there again.
Cons: There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel, although I would have preferred a lower internet rate (it is $16/day).
Pros: Large rooms, excellent location
Pros: Staff was great, service excellent, rooms were huge in the Tower
Cons: No coffe in room, very pricey to have sent to your room
Pros: Staff was very cordial and gave excellent customer service.
Cons: Charge for Wi-Fi was unexpected for a $700 a night room.
Cons: room wasnt clean properly by housekeeping
Pros: Location, good neibourhood , good loung and snack shop . Also rooms were good side and clean with proper functioning bathroom.
Cons: I wish they had a sit down restaurant of their own. Although they are close to restaurants on the street.
Pros: Nice ambiance. Good elevators to get to room efficiently
Cons: Poor housekeeping. Bathroom smelled musty. They forgot to leave washcloths one time. Then forgot to leave shampoo another time. When we called for shampoo to shower took 1.5 hours to come. Also asked for blankets when checked in which never came.
Pros: Convenient location to everything we were doing and the Molton Brown products are terrific! It's a luxurious hotel and a lovely interlude from the chaos of Manhattan.
Cons: We asked for some champagne flutes and the ones we received were delivered dirty. We called and asked for replacements and it took well over an hour to receive them - at that point we had washed the flutes ourselves in the bathroom sink.
Built in 1981 by railroad baron Henry Villard and luxuriously renovated in 2013, the grand entrance of this hotel is right across Madison Avenue from majestic St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Step into the express elevators, and be whisked to the hotel’s 35th-floor sky lobby, a fitting introduction to the dazzling views of Central Park and Midtown Manhattan you’ll find throughout. Works by glass artist Dale Chihuly sparkle in the lobby, while paintings by Valerio Adami adorn the lobby lounge. Ginkgo-leaf accents, antique Mandarin silk robes, and bamboo floors bring an Asian aesthetic to this sky-high hotel.
At the 2-floor Spa at Mandarin Oriental, you can indulge in a facial or a massage. Bask in the quiet of the relaxation lounges, or have a custom-blended infusion at the Tea Lounge. Separate men’s and women’s areas include vitality pools and amethyst crystal steam rooms. The 6,000-square-foot fitness center provides fruit-infused water, cardio and strength equipment, and locker rooms with saunas. The indoor pool is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the room with natural daylight. Babysitting or childcare is available for a surcharge.
At Asiate, the hotel’s French-Japanese fusion restaurant, enjoy a 6-course tasting menu beneath the glass tree-branch sculpture that hangs from the ceiling. 2 stylish bars, both adjacent to the lobby, serve cocktails. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a surcharge.
Guestrooms boast more head-turning views of Central Park, the Hudson River, and downtown Manhattan. Binoculars (provided in guestrooms) let you take a closer look at the iconic neighborhood outside. Flat-panel TVs have DVD players and surround-sound systems, and wireless Internet access is available (surcharge). After a turndown service that includes chocolates and Fiji water, you’ll sleep beneath custom-designed Italian Fili D’oro Egyptian-cotton linens. Marble bathrooms have flat-panel TVs, telephones, bathrobes, and slippers, as well as soaking tubs, many of which offer views of the Hudson River. Spacious corner suites include separate bedrooms and living rooms. Pets are welcome.
Cons: Room location: too noisy; not conducive to getting appropriate rest during a business trip.
Front desk: did not accommodate our request upon arrival. We were moved to a room 2 floors higher, same room location, same noise level.
Pros: The staff were very professional, and helpful. The hotel is nice to bring our dog to, the staff went out of their way to cater to him. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There was a very noisy club next door that made it difficult to sleep. Also I thought that for the price we paid the hotel could have offered free WiFi in the rooms.
Cons: On Sunday nites, club next door is so loud well into the nite making it virtually impossible to sleep.
All light fixtures lack dimmers and all contain very high wattage cold fluorescent bulbs Lighting in room is horrible.
Hvac is not well regulated. Room would get very cold and the only option is too turn off and wait for it to get unbearably hot
Located in Manhattan's vibrant Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, Kimpton Ink48 Hotel is a quarter-mile from the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum; a half-mile from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal; and near the Javits Center and Times Square.
Pros: Spacious, New Design, Complete with Kitchen Appliances (general), Guest of The Day Program.
Cons: Shortage on Suite with Queen Beds.
Short period time for Breakfast.

Cons: The location looked good but entering the hotel was very complicated and dangerous.
Pros: Room was upscale and very clean with zero odors. Bed was very comfortable.
Pros: Very clean and most of the employees were great specially de general manager. The person that takes care of the breakfast was great too
Cons: Difficult access
Pros: The service from the Manager, and two ladies from the breakfast station.
Cons: Entrance way to parking lot from high way was sharp curve and narrow. Outside view from the room was not
Pros: Very clean, and nice clean rooms.
Cons: Right off of the highway. A little difficult to get out of.
Pros: Service was great
Cons: Room was little small, but I liked it.
Cons: Inexperienced front desk person. Lobby needs updating. Dangerous entrance on interstate off ramp. Unappetizing breakfast.
Pros: Hotel was very clean and breakfast was wonderful
Cons: Location very tricky coming off expressway
Pros: Conveniently located off Rte 95 just over the GW Bridge. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Disappointed in free breakfast. Brown bananas and old apples, bad scrambled eggs, stale english muffins. Great coffee, good yogurt selection, good muffin selection.
Pros: Breakfast is very good.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff

Pros: Basic Courtyard- clean, large enough room by NY standards, great location
Cons: Old single pane windows allowed in even more noise than I am used to in NYC. Courtyards are also my last choice among Marriott brands since they essentially provide nothing for anyone with Marriott Rewards status, unlike all the other Marriott brands.
Pros: Location/ lounge/ service

Pros: Rooftop terrace, food service, and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bit overpriced. We have had comparable or better stays, for less money.
Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!!
I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I called operator, he sent "engineer" which couldn't do anything he said that's the highest, i called operator and said it's not acceptable, he said the they can't do nothing the whole hotel is set at this temperature (really??). I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason.
WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is,
HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here,
no room delivery after 11:30pm
No parking space,
Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube.
It's not a hotel, it's bullshit!.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location was on Broadway, just one short block from 7th Avenue.
I would stay again. It was a very good experience.
Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: It was a perfect hotel
Pros: The view from the room was perfect, if only I had stayed on New Years! Front row seats to the ball drop! Very clean and luxurious
Cons: Some hidden fees & deposit was larger then website said it would be
Cons: 1. Due to computer glitch, our reservation was "lost", took staff an hour to reinstate it.
2. Refrigerator in the room did not have a single bottle of water. I had to take medication without any water.
3. Ice machine on the floor was broken, no ice whatsoever.
4. Room had coffee machine, but no tea/coffee and water in the room.
Cons: No drinking water available in the room and ice machine was out of order. The coffee in the restaurant tasted like it was burnt.
Pros: Great location, value for money, loved the room, the bar and terrace were very cool. Great vibe and value overall.
Cons: Even with a hotel stamp, parking lot down the street was still almost $50 overnight. Wish hotel credit would have been worth more.
Pros: The location is great but they made little effort in making guests comfortable.
Cons: There was a huge crowd for an outdoor party on the nightclub deck. Our room shook all night until about THEEE AM. You couldn't hear the tv in the room and forget sleeping. It was miserable.
Pros: There was a problem with our bathroom that was not addressed appropriately on the night it was reported. The manager the following morning was profusely apologetic and provided complimentary breakfast for our party, in addition to addressing the problem.
Pros: Fun, modern sci-fi inspired design, excellent food, bar and restaurant were great. Staff were mostly courteous and attentive. Room service was quick. Shower was excellent :)
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed.
The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.
With a premium central Manhattan location and iconic sweeping views of Times Square, the Novotel New York Times Square hotel is situated in close proximity to the Broadway Theater district, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, World-class shopping, and 'Must-See' Landmarks. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience in 4-star contemporary comfort, whether your stay is for business or leisure.
Pros: Great location and good price. The staff was friendly.
Cons: On one of the days we stayed, the entire hotel's air conditioning was out for almost 24 hours. It was humid and very hot outside and we were traveling with an infant so we decided to come back to the hotel only to find it even more hot and muggy inside. They kept telling us the problem was being fixed but it wasn't until early morning the next day that it started working again. They apologized and gave us a discount but it was a miserable night with the baby. We had to ask for extra towels 4 times one day until we finally got them. There were at least 3 large cockroaches that we had to kill in the room - I know it's New York, I used to live there, but it's still uncomfortable to find them in a hotel that's supposed to be clean.
Pros: Location was great and staff were courteous. Decor is modern.
Cons: Shower was dirty on arrival with hair from prior guest. When arriving we turned on the lights and a cockroach scurried across the floor. The room was hot and The air conditioner didn't work.
Pros: The complimentary happy hour in the lobby was a nice treat for hotel guests. Although, there seemed to be many attendees who were not hotel guests.
Cons: I didn't like the smell in the hotel or my room. It smelled like pets and found out later the hotel was pet friendly - not a fan.
I also didn't care for the decor in the hallways or room I stayed in. It seemed very dated and in desperate need of some modern updating.
I also felt the complimentary toiletries were very disappointing and so was the $5.99 charge for printing tickets from a desk computer (labeled business center - very weak).
The housekeeping service was very, very noisy each morning and the rooms weren't cleaned up to normal hotel standards.
Pros: Clean and spacious room
Cons: The only reason why i booked this hotel is for the rooftop and you guys completly ruined my stay by closing the rooftop for a private event the ONE day i booked. Good to know that no matter how much cash you shell out youll still get beat over the head because of rich people wanting to close off a whole area of a hotel. Horriible experience.
Pros: Nice staff very helpful great experience front desk excellent would recommend highly
Cons: They charge $14.95 for wifi in your room.
Lobby furniture is very old no back support. & Very saggy
Pros: The rooms were large and well appointed. They were clean and quiet.
Cons: A bit dark decor and lighting in the lobby area.
Pros: Great location and valet parking
Pros: Older building, recently updated. Lots of charm, yet very modern. Location wad terrific. Hotel was spotless.
Cons: Pillows on bed were small.
Pros: Whenever I visit NYC, I always stay at Affinia. Great hotel. Friendly staff, large clean rooms. Excellent location.
Pros: Staff and room.

Cons: The bathrooms were dirty
The entertainment the TV channels were limited The entertainment the TV channels were limited I know a whole whole no my girlfriend
Pros: People were friendly/front desk/ very clean
Cons: Cold water was not flowing in sink.
Pros: Right off the highway - but far enough away from traffic/noise. Close to convenience stores, NYC, shopping, busses.
Cons: only sheers/not curtains on 4th floor - so sun is GLARING in morning.
Pros: Easy to find, easy access on and off Rt 3, parking right next to the hotel. Room was clean and modern looking. AC worked well. Nice pool. My room was relatively sound-proof, there was a large group at the hotel and I heard very little noise. . All members of the staff were efficient and polite.
Cons: Long wait at the restaurant Saturday morning.
Pros: Went to Monster Truck Show at MetLife stadium and didn't want to travel the distance home after night show. The hotel was close by and easy to find.
Cons: One of reasons choose this hotel was for the view of the NYC skyline . The hotel was not nearly close to capaticty and was giving room with view of parking garage!!!!
Pros: Ease of commute to NYC and convenience of NJ shopping and Newark airport
Pros: It's clean and mostly modern looking
Cons: Wasn't making much noise, but got a noise complaint. Walls are way too thin to accommodate those who spend all that money just to sleep vs. those who wish to already have a conversation.
Pros: Staff was great. Had to switch rooms because of ac problem and they were all over it
Cons: AC wasn't working because coils were dirty. Maybe better preventative maintenance

Pros: I liked the fact the hotel was close to a Mall and provided a shuttle and had a swimming pool with breakfast included.
Cons: The shuttle was terrible - supposed to run every 15 minutes but what they don't tell you is that one of the shuttles is reserved for airline employees of United and American and essentially, there is a shuttle every 30 minutes that is not supposed to stop at the terminals but it does it anyway. One of the drivers was supposed to pick me up from the nearby Mall and decided not to because he was running late, so I ended up running late for my flight and had to change it. Be very careful with these shuttles - they are quite unreliable.

Cons: My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.
Cons: Items of our luggage were stolen
Pros: Clean rooms,
Cons: Small rooms
Pros: Nice interior
Cons: All staff Ive come across felt like security. They dont respond to greetings. When they selectively ask to see your room keycard to enter the hotel and you see the people in front of you stroll right in while you get "carded" almost everytime...Im a well groomed mid 20's asian business man on vacation what more do you want? And in the heart of korea-town no less! I avoided the staff for the rest of my stay due to their less than friendly disposition and most times they seemed too busy to talk to you because they are allll on their phones textingg! Mainly speaking of night staff. For such a historic Landmark of a Hotel the staff certainly takes away from its authenticity, beauty and glamour.
As far as the rooms go everthing seemed fairly clean and nice. Only issue was the brown water I had to shower in and the air condition wasnt working the first day but their engineering staff promptly fixed the A/C unit.
Pros: Nice hotel
Cons: Check in process was BAD
Booked via Kayak and they did not have my reservation
I had a confirmation #
Took almost an hour to resolve
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff! Loved that everyone was there willing to help. Also liked the security of staff checking to make sure that all guests coming into the hotel were in fact supposed to be there.
Cons: Didn't like that there wasn't a fridge and/or microwave in the room given the price. Room was very nice but for the price I would've expected at least a fridge.
Pros: The room was spacious for NYC standards and very clean and well kept. The furnishings were modern and kept up to date. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep our water, wine and cheese cold.
Pros: We appreciated the entire stay. It was quiet, friendly staff, clean, accomodating, close to subway. Good food .
Cons: We had to leave. We have recommended it to others and will be back.
Pros: Nothing I liked.
Cons: Worst costumer service!! Front desk guests service were so rude. My room was already paid and booked for but still had to wait two hours just to get my room!
Pros: I gues for us-measures this Hotel has to be considered old
The Service is excellent and it is Central
Pros: Close enough to walk many places. Staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: Horrible view from window.

All guest rooms feature cable TV, in-room movies, coffeemakers, hairdryers, high-speed Internet access, individual climate controls, irons and ironing boards, dual-line telephones, voicemail, and work desks with lamps, Wi-Fi.
Cons: Hotel is small, rooms are small, elevators are small, room is not nice, even though it was remodeled without taste or sense of technology. Skip this hotel stay in the hotel literally in front of this one called "The Pearl Hotel". Trust me, it will not be a disappointment
Pros: Rooms are very nice but could use a bit more sound proofing. We could hear the people in the next room. We were in room 717
Pros: Our recent stay at The Time was perfect!
Pros: The staff at this hotel were all amazing. Each one as helpful and friendly as the next. The hotel has a very nice bar/ restaurant attached. The bed was super comfy, amazing waterfall showers, and great room service menu as well. Super central to everything, shops, food, shows, transit.
Cons: Our AC broke over night, so we woke up to a huge puddle and part of the carpet was soaked from the AC leaking, but we we're checking out that day anyway and it was not anyone's fault.
Cons: Very compact room and compact environment
Pros: We liked the simply look of the room and bathroom. Very modern and abstract.
Cons: Our stay was for a short period time so not much to comment on.
Pros: The room was comfortable, a good size and very quiet. Ammenities were updated. It should be a beautiful hotel when the project is finished.
Cons: Hotel was under construction which was not noted in the description. The lobby was moved to the second floor (from the first) and lots of workers and equipment were evident. there was a bit of work dust in the 2nd floor lobby.
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Choose a street facing room if possible, as some rooms are claustrophobic.
Pros: This was our third stay at the Time over the last 5 years and we've never been disappointed. Especially for the price! Staff was super friendly; comfy, modern room; great location in the theatre district and time square; room service breakfast (from the Serafina) was excellent
Cons: Only annoyance was that there was a sign at check in offering 20% off breakfast for guests; so we ordered accordingly, only to find out that room service wasn't eligible. If the food wasn't delicious we probably would've made a bigger stink about it
Pros: Great location, and wonderful staff
Cons: Overpriced for such small and unclean rooms. Our window was broken and we could hear everything at night, which in Times Square is loud and at times unbearable.
Cons: The rooms were dingy. The service was awful. We paid over $500 for the room and we didn't get what we paid for - Queen bed. They first tried to put us in a full bed room and then we had to go downstairs and complain. The rooms looked much better on the site than in "really life". The beds were gross with the blue comforter. The only thing that was nice was the tiny bathroom. I wouldn't stay here again.
Pros: Meeter Greeter
Guests of the property will find a contemporary environment inspired by modern art, natural materials, and the concept of time. Featuring impeccably reappointed guestrooms complete with custom furniture and designer amenities. A lifestyle hotel located in midtown Manhattan's Times Square / Theatre district. The Time is within walking distance to world class shopping, dining and entertainment.
Cons: Right next to major throughway to Holland Tunnel so trucks drove by all night.
The breakfast was stale donuts and coffee.
Pros: Free Parking
Great Continental Breakfast - fresh pastries; nice variety
Very reasonable room rate (compared with hotels on NYC side of Holland Tunnel)
Friendly front desk staff

Pros: The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful, even when they were super busy! We had to lock something up behind the desk, had to ask for directions, etc, during our 5-night stay, and they were always very friendly. Really like the location across the street from the bus stop into Times Square, and the hot breakfast!
Cons: More biscuits and gravy for breakfast, please!
Pros: Location is good. Bus stop is near hotel and Manhattan too (15 minutes). Children not pay for bus on weekend.
Cons: Breakfast: egg is like artificial.
Pros: One of the more affordable in comparison to the others nearby. Overall, a good option.
Cons: bathrooms were a bit outdated.

The shower is fitted with an adjustable Waterpik showerhead, for an invigorating or gentle awakening.
Pros: good location next to Times Square; breakfast included; king bed
Cons: room was small; noisy - little noise insulation inside; one of two elevators was not working.
Pros: Not roomy, but adequate accommodations with very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Reasonably clean.
Pros: Room was nice and also free breakfast
Cons: Lights went out for hours we had to eat breakfast in the dark with our phone light. Also I was billed higher at the hotel for my room. I used the book now pay later and the hotel charged me more than what website told me the total would be.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location.
Pros: Not much good to say... The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for New York. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end...
Cons: Requested early check in on a high floor the day before I arrived, but received an email at the time I was planning to check in that I could not do so until after 3. When I did check in, I was given the 3rd floor right on the street. The car horns and street noise kept me up into the morning. I was on a non-smoking floor, but the cigarette smell was unbelievably thick. It was obvious they were allowing smoking in the rooms.
One word for the owners... bleach. The bed sheets were stained and obviously old. They should probably be replaced.
Breakfast was horrible. Other than the bagels, there were dry (maybe day old?) muffins, 1 pancake which had obviously been previously frozen, and the juices were basically water. They had actually positioned buckets next to the juice machines so you could throw out the juice rather than drink it.
We checked our bags to go to a show. When we came back to retrieve them, we asked for a cab. The bellman went out front to hail us a cab, but had no luck. He told us he would be right back, and went back in the hotel. After 10 minutes of standing out in the cold waiting, he never came back. When I went in to the front desk, I asked them if they could call a cab. They told me their concierge was gone for the day, so I had to go flag one down on my own! Never have I been to a hotel that could not get me a ride to the station.
The Hotel at Times Square puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Broadway and Rockefeller Center. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and free continental breakfast is available daily between 6:30 AM and 10 AM. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location, if you can tolerate Times Square. Stayed in a king corner room on the 16th floor. Wife and I loved the bed, the view, and the bathroom. Subway doesn't get any closer, entrance is immediately outside lobby door. Gym was spacious, if you need that. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, just too many other choices in Manhattan. For that matter, nice bathroom and comfy bed is all we needed, as we weren't looking to waste time sitting in the hotel.
Cons: Again, location is great as long as you want to be very close to Times Square and all that comes with it. Noise of the city is audible on the 16th floor, but wasn't a problem for either of us sleeping through it. Wifi has a fee, but you can avoid it if you sign up for IHC membership.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice walk in shower (no tub). Subway entrance right outside.
Cons: WiFi wasn't free unless you sign up to rewards club.
Pros: Nice hotel friendly people
Cons: The parking people they are affiliated with are ripoff scam artists! DO NOT PARK THERE
Pros: for the buffet breakfast they write down 18% tip???
Pros: Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, maid service timely, toiletries excellent, service excellent, fitness room spacious, and outstanding location - one block from Times Square, next door to subway stop to SoHo and 2 block from subway going uptown, near great restaurants a block away, and a block or two from most of the major theaters . We have now stayed here three times in the past 4 years - not willing to risk staying somewhere else
Cons: Nothing not to like, except it can be pricey depending on the day of the week you stay ($300-$400/night), but it is worth it.

Pros: Central location in NYC, you could open the windows, no noise in the hallways, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: The carpet in the room was clean but but worn out in some spots. Should be replaced in the near future.
Cons: No breakfast, elevator was too slow
Pros: Very nice hotel, close to times square and affordable. Would stay there again.
Surrounded by the electrifying Times Square Candlewood Suites New York City Times Square has the perfect location for Extended Stay business and leisure travelers. Our NYC hotel is convenient to the major businesses in Times Square and the attractions of New York City. If you are traveling to
Pros: I stayed in the shared room, nice for 1-2 nights. The rooms coed it's like a high class hostel. Overall enjoyed my stay
Pros: Luxurious amenities at a fraction of the cost of expensive hotels in Times Square, The Out NYC was a perfect stay for the single traveler. I stayed in their dormitory style rooms for no more than about $80 per night. Single, private rooms with a king bed were available for about $160 per night if you should need the privacy. The dormitory style rooms that are cheaper may very well be worth it for a solo traveler. I found it to be a nice way to make new friends while in the city and an inexpensive way to stay near Times Square at a very reasonable price. Of the many things I enjoyed about this hotel the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were of my favorite amenities. Aside from that, the staff was overwhelmingly pleasant and made my stay a very personal experience. Big thanks to Terrance, Natalie, Steve, Roxy and Ro for their hospitality at this fantastic hotel. I will stay with them again upon return to NYC.
Cons: Impossible to sleep depending where your located in the hotel. If your on the same side as the club good luck getting any sleep at all. I could here the music and the DJ better than I could hear our room TV. Had to keep AC and TV on in attempt to drown out the music.
Pros: Location was excellent
Pros: Good price and location
Cons: AC unit was extremely loud, impossible to sleep well with it on, and it was humid hot summer in NYC. Major bummer. No towels in pool area had to call 3 times, there is barely any staff around ever. People seem to be here to crash for parties or work, not really a vacation hotel.
Pros: The outside seating area attached to our room and the internal attrium. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: We booked a suite. Very small room with only a bar mounted above the credenza to hang clothes. I had to make a conference call the next down so went to a common seating area downstairs
It was dirty with several chairs stained with spilled drinks.
Very loud club which didn't close until 4:00am. Good for young folks less so if you are a little older.
Pros: The mini bar
Cons: The maids
Pros: Liked that 4 of us could have a room where we each had our own bed and tv and be fairly close to great destinations.
Cons: The place is right beside a night club and the room we were given initially was right beside the club. You could feel and hear the music in the room all night. There was also an "emergency exit" door right outside our room that was used by service personnel. The door banged constantly with people coming and going. Seriously the bang was so loud it made us jump every single time - this was every 15 minutes or so the entire night. None of us slept (myself, my 63 year old mom and my 18 year old daughter). One of the Tv's didn't work at all and another had a bad picture - we asked for it to be looked at - never happened. No way to lock the door from the inside and no "do not disturb" sign. We complained about the room but of course they couldn't do anything other than move us for the 2nd night and offer free breakfast (which was actually brunch starting at 10 am which needs its own whole other review). Room was dirty - carpet, sheets...Then the second night we did have a quieter room. While we were getting ready for our show there was a knock on the door followed by a male employee walking right in - no waiting for us to let him in - just walked right in to fill soap in the shower??? What if we had been naked? So bad it was laughable. At least we all have a funny story to tell. A tv and 2 lights didn't work in this room either. Awful awful place. People were nice but didn't follow through on the service at all.
Cons: A staff member member became rude with us in the hotub area. We were compted $50 in room service because of it. Other than that, the place was great!
Pros: I usually stay on the lower Eastside when I travel to New York for the restaurants and art galleries. I selected the out purely on the basis of economics and the desire to do something slightly different. Although there are no art galleries and only a handful of restaurants in this neighborhood it is walking distance to time square and the theater district. If shows are your game, this place is pretty awesome. However for 160 bucks a night with good sheets and a recently renovated modern bathroom I do not feel inconvenienced at all. You can easily take the blue line subway down to Chelsea or Greenwich Village and as long as the weather wasn't as terrible as it was during snowstorm Jonas during my stay you can easily walk east across to the Bowery once you have moved south a bit by train. There's a charming coffee and breakfast place right next-door to the hotel which was friendly and provided healthy food options. The staff at the hotel although not the most polished was extremely helpful during the storm. They were able to extend my stay since I was stranded with all flights canceled for 2 days without gouging me. I had a problem with my television remote which they expeditiously repaired and I appreciated the attentiveness and speed. The hotel restaurant was, meh, just fair, certainly not awesome as compared to most restaurants in New York, but they get points for being the only place open on the night of the storm. And again at bargain-basement prices for the room one as little right to complain.
Pros: Proximity to various NYC highlights is very nice.
Cons: I understand parking in NYC is difficult, but a better alternative could be achieved.
Cons: Noisy in room heater.

Pros: The pillows were amazing! Most comfortable pillows ever. Room clean, simple, functional, roomy. There's a shuttle that picks you up at airport and takes you to the airport.
Pros: Quiet. Beautiful
Cons: Roadway access is a little complicated.
Pros: Service was top-notch, from the concierge, the shuttle drivers, housekeeping, all staff was sincere in making your stay most comfortable, also generally seemed happy to work which makes for good vibes all around. Very convenient shuttle service to Newark airport. Pretty good breakfast.
Cons: No bar (kind of a drag for most adults), soda machines were not stocked and were also faulty, location is not the best since there's not much around but is close to the airport.
Pros: The room was spacy
Cons: The front desk put me on hold for 7 minutes, come back and ask to put me on hold again. I hung up. Front desk absent for 5-10 on check out at 450am. Front desk needs to be retrained
Pros: There is no noise from outside creeping in or from people in the hallways. The bed is very comfortable. The price is right.
Cons: Food selection at breakfast is very limited. No other meals are available at the property and it is inconvenient to find a restaurant nearby. Parking fees are high.
Pros: The staff , breakfast and pool
Cons: The location kinda tricky
Pros: Convenient shuttle to the airport
They provided me with take out menus for nearby delivery
I ordered delivery from a nearby Italian restaurant and they delivered it right to my hotel room door.
Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi
Cons: There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel you have to walk down a road where there is no sidewalk to get to the Courtyard Marriot which is a short walk but 2 doors down to get to the food and bar. Menu and bar is extremely small.
Pros: Overall the hotel was beautiful. The room was very spacious and neat. My stay was very pleasant.
Cons: The jacuzzi was out of order and the pool water appeared to be dirty. I didn't like that you have to pay for parking if you booked a room and that you only have 1 hour of free parking.
Pros: Everything, microwave and fridge were available without extra charge, relaxing atmosphere and i felt safe in the environment.
Cons: No dislikes here.
Pros: clean comfortable and roomy...really nice breakfast
Pros: Upon arrival we found a spacious room which was very clean and updated furniture with comfortable double beds. Microwave and mini fridge were included as well as free parking. The free breakfast was nothing fancy but was adequate and got the job done. I was happy to find my favorite Kashi cereal, but the coffee wasn't to my liking. Overall I would definitely book this room again.

Pros: Location - superb and convenient
Recently remodeled - very tastefully done
Room - a king size bed with room. Hard to beat in NYC.
I'll use it again if price is right.
Cons: The "resort charge" of $31 per night.
Pros: Excellent location next to Central Park
Cons: Too expensive. Poor interior quality. Very old rooms. (There was no refrigerator !!!). The hotel pictures are not accurate of its true condition.
Cons: Not friendly staff, small rooms, overpriced, hidden fees
Pros: This hotel is very well maintained, in a great location, and the beds are very comfortable!
Cons: They don't let you check in a minute before the check in time.
Cons: After dinner , wife an I ready to go to bed, my wife noticed pillow cases nor linen was changed. We are avid travelers, we were horrified!
Head of housekeeping had it changed at 9:00, but wife an I were tired and this event made us stand in hallway for almost an hour till changes were made.
Pros: Everything was clean and nicely decorated
Cons: Parking $70/day
Pros: Comparing with Hyatt (4 stars) in DC, Holiday inn (3 stars) in Buffalo and Holiday inn (3 stars) at 57th street NYC, this so called 4 stars hotel-Park central is nothing. The only advantage you have is location.1.The room is quite small, no coffee maker (I requested 2 times by phone, excluded I came to the front desk to request face to face),no refrigerator(you need to request, the quantity is limited and no one replied about whether they would supply or not.) 2.No hair conditioner in the bottle at the first night I stayed. After the third night, I left a note in the bathroom for the housekeeper and said"please refill the conditioner. Thanks." No one cared about this. The bottle was still empty. 3. Airconditioner was broken. Luckily the front desk changed a room for me. This is the worst experience I have in NYC. I am pretty sure I will not choose this hotel in the future and tell others about this experience. Again, if you don't care about the service at all, choose it. If you don't mind to walk several minutes more to Times Square or other sites and want better service and bigger room, Holiday inn midtown at 57th street is a good choice. And the rate is lower than park central.
Pros: I love the Park Central Hotel. It is our 2nd time to stay there. We originally stayed at Park Central in July 2014 and had an amazing experience all around. The staff, the room, the bathroom, the concierge, the location were all wonderful!
Our 2nd stay in June 2016 was nice but not as excellent as in 2014.
Cons: I booked the Park Central through hotels.com in 2014 and 2016. I chose it for the clean and well kept rooms, the location and the price is fair.
In June 2016, We were put in a "courtyard room (graveyard)" because of the price that we paid. If we spent $75 more a night they would upgrade us to a normal room.
This room had a window but barely let in any natural light. You couldn't see what the weather was like until you went outside.
The bathroom was so tiny that the only way 2 people could be in there at the same time was if someone was in the shower and the other at the sink. The shower was a tiny stall! I couldn't bath without my elbows hitting the walls.
Although, the similar price in 2014 gave us an amazing room with a street view and a huge bathroom (no need to upgrade).
The staff on this last trip were friendly but seemed to be rushed. Not the cozy vibe that we had in 2014.
Pros: they were very accommodating and friendly. the rooms were perfect sizes and beds were very comfortable.
Cons: the facility charge. we only stayed from 7pm at night until 12pm the next day so we didn't even use any of the facilities that were included in the charging so we thought it was a bit unfair to be charged that amount if we weren't even there long enough to use it.
Pros: It is near for everything, service is good, clean
Pros: Room larger than typical for the area, staff were very helpful, walking distance to many restaurants and places we wanted to visit
Cons: Though coffee places were nearby, it would be nice to get an early morning coffee without venturing outside the hotel. Perhaps marketplace kiosk could be open 24/7
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great location.
Cons: Still not sure how much I will be charged. I was invoiced a certain amount which does not reflect the amount charged to my card.
