convenience location Extra charge for everything. food is very expensive
the curteous staff, efficient, friendly, helpful and obliging we had bad weather
This is the perfect hotel to be close to the cruise terminal as well as for sightseeing, right next to Gastown, Chinatown, and the Skytrain. Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.
Beautiful place to stay for my first time in Vancouver. Close to everything downtown.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very comfortable, stunning views. Spending a lot of money on a 5 star hotel is OK but to be charged extra to use WIFI seems greedy. In 5 weeks in Canada this is the only hotel we stayed in which charged. It was also the most expensive.
great location for prior to a cruise! restaurant has excellent menu! delicious and healthyh!
Staff we're very helpful and accommodating Room was super clean and surprisingly quiet considering how busy the hotel was Super convenient location Internet charge was a little outrageous
Beautiful location and elegant decor. Room and bedding very comfortable and spacious. All service was friendly and prompt. Bellman was especially helpful with information and very courteous. Very enjoyable.
Location was most suitable to our needs Freindly staff
Good location - upmarket service You have to go through the parking garage to get to the gym - and it was cold!
Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.
Proximity to the cruise ship terminal. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking, bus or subway (Sky Rail). Extremely courteous staff, very helpful. Will definitely stay there in the future. Nothing
Pinnacle is clearly an older hotel that has had a high style interior makeover. The lobby, cafe/bar and the guest rooms are all very stylish. For quite reasonable rates our room had harbor and convention center views. The room and bath were nicely appointed. Quality coffe was offered for the morning The exterior is lack luster and the elevators have not been upgraded and feel a bit rickety. Our room was a hallway away from the core and we could hear them on and off all night. All in all it out performed expectations.
The view was great, location was great and these made our stay perfect. The room was clean and maintained during our stay, the staff was courteous. All in all happy at the end.
Excellent access to the cruise terminal. A very comfy environment. We walked and used public transportation to make our way about the city, staying 3 days and two nights. We had no negative experiences or observations.
1/ Location 2/ Friendly, helpful staff 3/ Great view from the breakfast room. 1/ Parking was a joke: expensive, very poorly laid out, difficult to find the way out and the way in. 2/ I found that $20 for a continental breakfast left me inclined to eat more than normal in an attempt to get my money's worth.
Great location, worth the extra money for the harbor view. Lots of great amenities, including use of the bikes because you are so close to the seawall and Stanley Park. Nice and friendly staff. TV often didn't work and had to restart it many times.
Very nice and helpful staff. Awesome location. Nice lobby, restaurant/bar I booked a king but got a room with two twins (or two EXTREMELY small queens), bathroom wasn't very clean and bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful .the accommodations were only so so and paying $300 USD for a $100 room was a downer.
location Restauarnt tawdry: all furniture worn/torn, seriously in need of refurbishment. Security panels on doors and high-pressure door closers give impression of ongoing issues re security - perhaps unwarranted, but questionable.
Proximity to harbor wall, Stanley Park, and Robson Street for all kinds of entertainment and diverse dining experiences. Rooms are spacious and parking is handy.
The location is 2 blocks from the harbor, easy walk to convention center attractions as well as harbor walk to nearby Stanley park. The hotel, though very nice is showing its age, mostly in exterior architecture & room hallways. The pool/spa was a bit dirty and not very well lit. The lobby makes a great first impression but diminishes with interaction with the rest of the spaces...
Requested to change room due to the noise, The stuff found us a different room at 2 in the morning. Stayed a night on the 17th floor, the elevator sound was very loud through out the day and night. I couldn't fall asleep at all.
We stayed here while attending the Sea Wheeze festivities. We loved how close the location was to the convention center and the Stanley Park since that was where most of our weekend was spent. It was very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well. Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.
The air of sophistication and luxury. The ambience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim is hard to match. I liked the knowledgeable staff and their willingness to be of service to guests. House keeping can still improve in their cleanliness.
Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL! Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Accessible to everything , nice staff , The Grain Bar is awesome , Starbucks on site . Fantastic , would highly Recomend it to everyone I know and will definetly Come Back and Stay None
Size of room and amenities
Decent views Great food Had to switch rooms, 1st Room was very dirty and the balcony door was broken so we could hear all the street noise and had a draft. We went from 19-20th floor Beds didn't look like that photographs. No robes
A lovely hotel - great location and fabulous staff
Great service and high quality rooms. Rooms need more plug ins, especially since one were found near the desk.
They refused to honor elite status or give Hyatt points for the stay. I am old Diamond member which is now called Globalist. But no privileges are extended for those booking through Kayak.
I accidentally left my wallet with my drivers license and credit cards and money in the room. The housekeeping staff was excellent in their professional conduct. The maid took the stuff to the housekeeping department. The lady there was very helpful. The entre contents were returned to me. I truly appreciate their honesty, integrity and helpfulness. I always expect to have a great stay at the Hyatt hotels, This made it even better.
Staff were excellent. From the front desk, bellman, housekeeping and concierge, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extremely pleasant.
Great location, great facilities, starbucks in the lobby, super efficient elevators so getting up and down from high floors is easy even during the busiest periods, comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms, excellent service from staff at all levels. An outstanding experience.
Breakfast was great! Rooms were clean and spacious.
Hyatt was (again) an excellent choice. There was nothing to be desired. We were treated very well and the view from the room was fantastic! Friends traveling with us choose a different hotel in close proximity and it was nowhere close to Hyatt quality and comfort! They paid parking over $40 a day and our parking fees were much lower during the holiday weekend! We were very pleased during this stay!
Staff and Building were fabulous. Location was great. The online/website marketing advertised hot tub and swimming pool facilities as part of the building. Turns out, there is none. Also - details in the room itself for maintenance = the drain plug on the "soaking tub" did not close and, therefore soaking could not happen....and the "hot" water only ever got to tepid-warm for the shower I took.
Suite was beautiful
This is my third stay in this property. Great location, great staff, having a seating area a big plus! Very quiet. Am appreciative that it's not your typical business type chain hotel. Because my first stay was after property first opened, like all "homes," am starting to see the wear and tear of time. Hope the property stays energized vs transforming into a tired grande dame.
Friendly staff. Clean room. They didn't have an exercise room....the one elliptical and bike in a room with a drop down ceiling that couldn't accommodate anyone over 5'5' was VERY disappointing.
This is a great location.the staff is helpful and you are able to easily walk to many Vancouver sites.
Restaurant has very limited options and very rude staff. food taste poor and not worth money. Hotel is very small with limited facilities. I will not like to stay again.
The rooms are small, but everything else was great. Fantastic front desk. The hotel was quite willing to change a reservation by 24 hours, but not the hotel booker. Turns out that the booking service (that begins with "K" and won't allow comments on this site, uses a third party hotel booker (also not allowed a mention here) but begins with a "G" who are totally inflexible.
no slippers in room ...
We booked this hotel somewhat last minute after an Airbnb reservation didn't work out. We were very pleased with the hotel. The location couldn't be better, service was very friendly, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. No pool or hot tub, but for a smaller hotel like this, it's not unusual.
The rooms were clean and spacious. the facility was nice. The people were helpful. No problems.
The customer service at this hotel was unbelievable. Shout out of gratitude to risa and stephanie up in the Gold Lounge. What an amazing experience. The hotel is literally across the street from the cruise terminal. Great running course along the sea wall. A cant-miss Vancouver hotel!!!!!
LOVED THE Location and loved this Hotel! BEAUTIFUL
Could store luggage there after cruise Nothing
In a world where wifi has become fundamental for communication and information, and is offered for free all over the world because it is an inexpensive way to draw business, the fairmont charges $14 per day. I would have paid if it was just included in the already expensive room rate. As intended, I didn't read the fine print and was shocked to find out I had to go to the lobby to work. I was on a business trip. Also, I had to set the thermostat to 90, the maximum, to warm the room. It was never comfortably warm.
We had an amazing stay at the Fairmont. The entire staff was beyond helpful and friendly which really made the holiday. Always smiling and giving extra attention. Location is perfect. Right by the waterfront but also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable plus clean and again super friendly staff making sure your every need is met and that you have a great stay. Highly recommend staying here. Everything was great!
Excellent service and attention to detail
This is a beautiful hotel and an exellent place to stay if you are leaving on or coming back from a cruise. The Arc restaurant is wonderful and all of the hotel staff are the best.. Our luggage was transferred to the ship for us which was a plus. The rooms are beautiful with spectacular views of the harbor and Canada Place.. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.
Great room. Comfortable bed. Late night room service was excellent!
Location. Staffs For every little things I was charged , like domestic calls !!! Really?
We thought that the bellmen were incredibly friendly and personable. We were given a complimentary drink at Arc as it was our anniversary; very thoughtful. Didn't like the fact that for a higher end hotel there wasn't free WIFI. Paying $13.95 for WIFI seemed too expensive when we paid over $500 for the night.
Location, helpful staff and access to fitness center were excellent. elevators and carpets ingeneral (rooms and aísles) are very deteriorated.
The property is a very easy walk (even in inclement weather) to the convention center. It excels based on value: a bit cheaper than the others but includes continental breakfast and a access to a nice fitness center.
I liked the breakfest Hotel conditions
Location.. Going on Cruise and only 1.5 blocks from Cruise Ship Terminal. and 1 block from Train.... The Room Suite was well decorated and very comfortable, Clean and prepared for our arrival. Had booked 2 rooms and paid in advance. On arrival only showed one room booked. Staff worked to correct issue but only after turning attention to other parties who arrived at counter then came back to us. Poor Signage walled past the Hotel. Very poor continental breakfast , appears added as a after thought, not enough room or selection. Common areas on floor were not environmental regulated areas were hot and muggy
close to train station coffee maker in room worked well Lions Pub was good felt safe Hotel is a few floors in a tall building...not a 4 or 5 star experience...harbor view was partial...breakfast very minimal, better at a sleep inn...furniture worn and outdated...not romantic
Amazing location in downtown Vancouver to enjoy all the terrific city has to offer! Beautiful views and gorgeous rooms but it all boils down to location! Breakfast was a nice perk too!
Location is very central Pool, fitness room, and all amenities that make a 4-star hotel a 4-star hotel were unavailable. Staff was hardly accommodating. Room deco was very outdated and not completely clean.
I stayed at the Coast Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver in mid December about two weeks before Christmas. Decided to head north for the holiday and go see Christmas lights somewhere cold (Butchart Gardens in Victoria was AMAZING, by the way). Vancouver was definitely in full swing for the holidays, but the city is pretty quiet and the crowds have dwindled by this time of year. Everything was fantastic. It's freezing, but I'm pretty sure the bedding was nice and warm, because I remember sleeping like a baby. The room was a decent size with good amenities, the bathroom was huge, and everything is "green" - recycling; economy sized bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc.; not unnecessarily washing towels that aren't really dirty... I'm from Los Angeles, so I hate to see water waste. You won't find any at this hotel :) Everything is walking distance - It's centrally located, about at 12 minute walk to the train that takes you to and from the airport, and only a block or two from the water. It rained (duh), so we took taxis a few times (at present, Uber doesn't operate in Van city), but if you have a hood and an umbrella, you shouldn't worry. The city is built for wet weather, and everything went along smoothly. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Can't remember the name of the guy at the front desk (Louis? Luis? I may have made that up.), but he had spot on recommendations for food and attractions. He recommended a great brunch spot called Medina and a fun Christmas Market (German style) with a photobooth, cider, mulled wine, and a lot of hand-made crafts. I had a great time in Vancouver and would definitely stay here again. Two very excited thumbs up! Note: We also took the Westcoast Sightseeing bus to Victoria. They pick up and drop off directly at the hotel, which is really great if you're planning on taking any side trips to Victoria. I haven't got one, single complaint. I guess the views from some rooms aren't as great as others, but why gripe about the view when you can go out into the city and actually experience it.
Outstanding room, view, service, staff, water pressure, exercise facilities, restaurant. N/A
The front desk was extremely helpful in getting us settled and helping us get a reservation at a fantastic but very popular restaurant nearby. And when we arrived at the restaurant the hotel sent a small hors d'oeuvre plate to us as a gift. Very classy. All the hotel service people were friendly and professional. We loved our corner bedroom with a view of downtown Vancouver. The windows went from floor to ceiling and the light was beautiful even though snow was falling. Beds were comfortable too. We booked on Kayak and the price was very reasonable for a city hotel near the waterfront. I would definitely go back. The Lobby was designed as a contemporary open space but it felt too big and vacant. Its interior design could be freshened.
Perfectly located near the convention center with a knowledgable and kind staff. The room is excellent. The facilities are modern and clean. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to others.
The location is great, the way the staff treats you and the overall quality. For the price we paid I would have expected a bigger room. Then I would have loved to have open view to the north harbour but a building was blocking partially our view, a little bummer although my wife loved it.
Loved the modern décor and style of the hotel.
Waterfront Baggage taken separately instead of in same elevator, and baggage gentlemen was very pushy as well as the valet attendant. Park elsewhere nearby for much cheaper.
The staff was friendly and courteous. Check in/out was smooth. The room clean and nice. The gym and pool had everything you would need for a long weekend. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, parks, and the waterfront. We will return.
That my dog was allowed to stay with me and the location.
Great location, nice amenities and room. Friendly staff and very clean. Bed a bit too soft. Elevator shaft was audible and a bit annoying.
Was advertised as a supreme king suite. We opened the door on the 16th floor expecting a suite. A seperate seating area. Somewhere we could sit & look at the view of the harbour & Stanley park. Instead we found a king size bed, with 1 chair in the corner. A coffee maker with only plastic cups to drink our dark roast coffee, that once we added whitner it turned gray. The small tv on the wall was off to 1 side, leaving 1 person to sit on the bed ( which was quite comfortable) on an awkward angle. Overall it was a nice hotel that left a sour taste
The size of the hotel is large enough for basement auto parking and a full service restaurant ---but not overwheming. Rooms very clean and comfortable, free wi-fi, quiet. Very central location, a block awy from the Canada Line subwy to airport. Rates aren't bargain basement but reasonable. Nothing lacking for me.
Comfort, Size of rooms, Location Limited parking
Two minute walk to Sky Train and connection to airport. Good bar/restaurant. All for less than half of the Four Seasons across the street. Slow check in/out because of having only one staff at desk.
all you expect and more....Comfortable mattress, pillows, fabulously smooth & lush linens, and quiet! a nice surprise, in a hotel so conveniently located in the heart of downtown Vancouver!!
The staff were very accomodating. Went out of their way to assure we were taken care of - without even being asked. Friendly concierge and bell staff. Would definately stay here again.
Overall just about excellent. Pool was being worked on. Had to use pool across at 4 seasons in 40 degree weather. Incredibly inconvenient
Were were given the option to upgrade our room...at a cost of 40$ a night. Rooms were comfortable and overall enjoyed our stay. When booking the hotel we booked a deluxe queen room....however when checking in we were told we could only have a room with 2 singles as there were no other comparable rooms. We were given the option to upgrade. So adding an extra cost and the parking is also approx. 40 $ a night!
Clean, great location, well sized rooms. Value for money Check in concierges could not appear more miserable if they tried. Multiple stays at this hotel and the same experience each time. I feel like a burden each time I check in
The hotel was wonderful. I very much enjoyed my stay. Staff was nice and very accommodating in getting our friends on the same floor.
The hotel itself was really nice. The bed was super comfy and it had little light switches on the side so you didn't have to get up to shut them off at night. The bathroom was huge, and the hotel had a sauna/pool open most hours of the day. Kayak booked us a room for three with one bedroom and a cott. The room name description was unclear and it really caught me off guard when I got there and the reception said "So, you'll be needing a cott?" without any prior knowledge from me. We just crammed all three people on the bed, which worked, but it was not at all what I thought was going to happen.
They are not cat friendly. The room we stayed in allowed our cat to run up into a crawl space including the ceiling and potentially the walls and ceilings of nearby rooms. This was a living nightmare, as she disappeared for close to ten minutes while hotel staff had no idea what to do. I'm sure the hotel is lovely if you don't have a cat, but if you do, avoid this hotel at all costs.
I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff and found the hotel luxurious. I also had harbour front view which I recommend to everyone. The room was large, bed extremely comfortable. I really appreciated a separate outdoor, covered area with benches for smokers. I found that respectful for those who smoke.
Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were professional and courteous and made checking in easy even though our reservation didn't register accurately in Delta's computer system. They thought we would be checking in the day after we actually arrived. Alison at the front desk was able to check my confirmation email and fixed the issue right away. Parking company associated with Delta Vancouver were terribly rude and unprofessional. Parking attendants were not friendly nor helpful at all. They made coming in and out of the parking structure frustrating and annoying.
Everything was great no problems
We didn't have a car, so being only a block and a half from Waterton Station was convenient. Front desk was very helpful. We paid to be on a Club Floor. It was worth it for continental breakfast, all day drinks and coffee, evening snack. The attendants there were really pleasant. I definitely recommend this hotel. Would have preferred a loveSeat to the two arm chairs in the room.
Great location by Gastown and near train to Granville sand Yaletown. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again. Offered upgrade at checkin for better room and continental breakfast and evening snacks. Food was mostly mediocre. Room was nice with deck, but near lounge area and heard doors close constantly.
Excellent location in downtown Vancouver. Parking is on site in a garage, but a bit confusing to find. Sofa in room was old and broken. Early 90s decor, but clean..
Beautiful, clean hotel. Spacious room with great views. Excellent service
Staff was very friendly and super helpful! Will love to come again!
All the staff were great and very polite (In the reception Kim and Jason are awesome). Excellent location and easy access. Price goes up if you try to stay an extra day
Hotel was nice. Spacious. Close to the waterfront sky train station. Neighborhood is in transitional neighborhoods. One block away is sketchy
Well located downtown Vancouver hotel, recently tastefully renovated. Friendly, helpful staff. The toilet in our bathroom was located immediately in front of the sink which made access to the sink a bit awkward. New bathrooms are small.
This is solidly a two-star hotel. Admittedly this is my first and last experience in a Delta Hotel. There was nothing that I was used to experiencing in other Marriott-brand hotels. The room was spacious but the positives ended there. The "suite" was really an urban 1-br meaning there was a 3/4 wall dividing the bedroom from the living space, so we had to be super quiet once our baby went down for the night. Definitely not "suite". The room was clean-ish, but definitely dingy, maybe this was due to the age of the hotel. Definitely in need of an update. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable...surprising since this is usually the strong point at a Marriott. The couch was falling apart, the upholstery was separating at the seams and felt as though I was sitting directly on the hide-away frame beneath. The fixed shower pipe jutting from the wall was low and angled awkwardly sideways, making it difficult to aim the showerhead properly. I am only 6' and I had to contort myself awkwardly to wet my hair. We left a day early since we were not comfortable.
Great customer service
The location was great! It was walking distance to restaurants, the harbor, and a stop for the hop on hop off tours. It said breakfast was included, and then they wouldn't let us have breakfast. That was the major reason I picked them.
Good service Good location They nickle and dime you; parking was $10 daily more than advertised on my confirmation (they said it was an old rate, although I only booked two days before the stay!). Then they charge for wifi! Seriously!?!?!? Who charges for wifi these days?
Beds were very comfortable We had 3 people in our party so we got a room with a king bed & a roll away. Wasn't happy !
I liked the location. It was easy walking distance to eating and shopping locations. Also, could purchase city tours at front desk and cab service was easily available.
* gym, pool, sauna * location * $8/day for slow wifi, $15/day for OK wifi
Excellent choice, great location, great service, breakfast, everything was really good, we were impressed. The room is a bit small but nice and has everything you need. Best value for money.
Great location close to the Waterfront and Gastown also good for nearby shopping. Room facilities excellent, tea/coffee maker, iron & ironing board, hairdryer. Fab bathroom. Its not a big thing but the breakfast room needs to be a bit brighter. The breakfast itself is excellent.
Helpful staff with interest in our enjoyment. Nicely decorated and refurbished hotel. The parking lot is not attached and requires moving luggage across an alley
easy walking to Gas Town. Nicely updated. Very nice luxury bath features. Small room but ccmfortable with everything we needed. Friendly courteous staff. Great breakfast Bed too soft for my back. Pillows too large.
Comfortable and quiet room, friendly staff, the hotel is in a good location, close to metro.
Clean, good location, fantastic and friendly staff. Everything was quality.
Staff was friendly & efficient. Great value w breakfast. Room was clean and tasteful. Bathroom was spacious enough. All in all 4 stars!
The service at the reception and breakfast was very good. Good informations about Vancouver from the reception and good recommendations for several good restaurants. Very central location.
Very comfortable and the staff were extremely accomodating. No spa facility onsite.
The staff were extremely courteous, calm under pressure and helpful. The room was lovely with all the facilities you could wish for. The hotel was clean throughout.
Clean comfortable room and the breakfast was very good too. Great location right downtown. We will stay at St.Regis again.
We enjoyed our two nights at the Hotel, fantastic breakfast, nice reception, clean room and beautiful bathroom.
The hotel is quite the little historic gem, clean new bathrooms, and king sized beds. The room had a musty smell, if thats an issue be aware.
The room was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The room was quite small.
I liked how clean and comfortable and stylish the Victorian is, considering the affordable cost. Loved that there were computers for guests' use. And the staff were all extremely nice. I didn't like having to squeeze past the bed to get to the other side of the room. And I thought that the dining room could be a little nicer.
We enjoyed the heritage of the building. Loved the fresh lilies at the front desk. The bedding was luxurious. Didn't enjoy the front desk staff not greeting us when we walked through the lobby. Even if we aren't checking in or out a smile and hello is still appreciated.
Breakfast, character, staff friendliness, style Shared bathroom
The staff was very accomodating and polite. The absence of an elevator. Although, I know that the hotel is patterned after the Victorian era but, it will be best for the occupants to have the benefit of such facility especially if one has heavy luggages.
The style and decor of the hotel.
Comfortable charming accommodations. The hotel is undergoing renovations. There were no interruptions in service--but the noise! If it weren't for the charm of the place and the staff, I would have found another place to stay.
Room was charming Clean bathroom Comfortable bed Boutique exposed brick Location Great value for traveling young couple not concerned with tons of ammenities Room size is intimate
Great location, just a block and a half from Hastings St., near restaurants and shops. Breakfast room was great to be in, listening to all the languages and accents. Hotel exudes old-world charm, and my room was very quiet. The lack of a writing desk was a problem, but I was able to use the nice desk in the communal hall on my floor. Most rooms share the bathroom, and the shower, among several rooms on that floor, but this was never a problem for me (staying almost a whole week). There was also no air-conditioning, but this was also never a problem, with the cool Vancouver weather (never above 70F during a week in July!) and a window that can stay open all day.
Very cozy overall. Nice clean room and spacious bathroom The hotel staff could be a little nicer
great room, beautiful reno, good sheets, clean and lovely bathroom
the service but clean and the bed was very comfortable the size of the room was very small & not bar to hold onto in the shower., not window
Room was small and carpets looked dirty. Not a great part of downtown with police cars outside front door.
Price was okay. Large bathroom. Bed comfortavle Neighbouring rooms loud, heater was too hot (over 30C in room)
The hotel was very clean, convenient to the cruise terminal (within walking distance) and the staff was very friendly. Our room was great for the price and our bathroom was huge. The breakfast was very basic and needs more selection.
Like the proximity to downtown and the friendliness of all of the hotel staff - It's always nice to come back to the Ramada Ltd Downtown Vancouver.
The location was near alot of tourist sites. The room was for the most part clean ; however,I did notice a few ladybugs in the room. Overall, the wifi and AC worked great. The staffs were helpful and friendly. I didn't like that the breakfast room did not have any available table/ chairs because it was super crowded. I had prefer to eat out for breakfast. My queen bedroom was super small barely can walk around the room w/ o bumping into my bf. The hotel parking was super overprice $29 a night. I would have been better off parking it all day/ evening a block away in a garage parking that charges only $13 flat fee.
The king-size bed was pretty comfortable, the whole room and bathroom was very clean, the location is good if you want to walk a few blocks to the popular areas of downtown Vancouver (especially for going to the Vancouver lookout), great price through KAYAK ($211 for two weekend nights) The pillows were troublesome (one was too flat, two was too high), practically all the fixtures in the room were crooked, the toilet didn't flush very well, the bathroom was awkwardly formatted (the door hit the toilet when open), the valet employees were awkward and not very intuitive, the two blocks around the hotel are a bit sketchy with many homeless people, valet parking was ~$33 CAD per night
Complimentary breakfast No fitness center or pool. Parking is $35/day
Staff, very friendly and helpful Cost of valet parking
The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice, but very small. The front desk wasn't very friendly. The ice machine was broken and had a note saying to come to the front desk for ice. When I asked him for ice he said I should go to the fifth floor. I told him the note said to come here, he rolled his eyes and filled up my ice. The fire alarm went off for 10 minutes everyone had to evacuate because someone pulled it. The area was not the greatest. The room was nice but very small you get the bare minimum.. But the bed was very comfortable. Wont be returning
Convenience to the ship terminal. Breakfast was good. The window to our room looked out into an alley with overflowing dumpsters with trash all over the place. I'm surprised that the hotel hasn't addressed this issue, as it's very unsightly. The buildings across the street from the hotel are not very pleasant to look at also. The rug in our room was filthy with stains covering the majority of the carpeted area.
The location is fantastic, you're right in the heart of downtown. They valet park your car (for a fee) and you can just walk every where you would want to go downtown. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, it was nice breakfast was included with the stay. Continually has issues with the door lock to our room not securing. The front desk was notified and the maintenance man came right away. Not much resolution there, he was nice but ultimately didn't fix the issue. It was just a matter of hassle combined with luck to get the electronic door lock to lock. It was a small detractor for the stay, but I would still recommend this place and I would personally stay here again.
location is perfect the room smelled old, musty and like mildew. it was clean, so i couldn't rate it low on that and it was comfortable except for the smell, so i downgraded both those categories by one notch to reflect the awful smell. room was very small and hard to fit our luggage in an easily accessible way.
Good location Outdated and dirty.
Convenient location to cruise ships. Front desk staff was the best.
Very helpful and accommodating staff. We were able to have an early check in which was very helpful. The location is convenient to a major transportation hub. Noisy night club next door
The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was wonderful and the safe was kind and curtious. The rooms were very small and tight. There was not much room to lay out one's luggage. The bathrooms were even smaller. The water temperature was VERY difficult to regulate and it was common to be scalded and frozen all in one shower.
The new bathroom was beautiful The heater didn't work and it was freezing. The floor looked like it was under construction
Great location, really convenient to the Convention Center and the Gaslight district and shopping. The bar (music) in the hotel was quite loud and could be heard from my room till closing. The room I stayed in also had no view to speak of it basically faced the building next door and barely got any natural light as I was on a lower floor.
Rooms were good however lighting was poor. Near cruise port and near public transportation. Mary Castelo
It was relatively close to the cruise ship terminals. I thought the rooms were very small and really could use an update.
