The overhead compartments are teeny tiny, and when other people shove all their bags in there, there's no room for other people's single carry ons."

It just kept cutting out, then would say entertainment service isn't offered, etc. Why are airlines going away from personal TVs & instead having you bring your own device which may or may not work with the service up there? There was also NO room. I'm not a big person, but I didn't even have space to put my bad under the seat in front of me & sit comfortably. I flew back on JetBlue with the same amount of stuff and had ample room. It was interesting to see the difference."

He remained calm throughout, knew exactly how to assess and handle the situation, even helping the spouse who was emotional given her husband's condition. He tended to the family the entire flight. He went above and beyond and I hope he is recognized for his outstanding and exemplary efforts ."

I worked in customer service for 28 years and there could have been things done to ease the tensions. I was lucky and could easily go with the flow, but their were families and business people who had some real issues. Weather definitely was an issue and I am glad they consider safety first."

What makes the experience of flying Frontier even more frustrating is the fact that every time we fly, the rules and conditions change! Frontier used to be a great low-cost airline. What's happened?"

Cons: "On 4/27/16 Frontier sent a text alert that flight 291 was delayed until 21:40. They never sent a text alert or email to passengers that the flight was cancelled. I was notified by Kayak that the flight was cancelled. When I called Frontier to inquire if the flight was delayed or cancelled I was placed on hold a few times. Eventually the representative stated the flight had been cancelled due to a storm. By this time I arrived at the airport & spoke with Frontier representative who stated the flight was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. Later that night I called Frontier to request an email stating the flight had been cancelled (business reason) & was informed they couldn't do that."

That you have to carry on yourself? And also different from literally every other airline, you have to pay to pick your seats! So yes i paid cheap for a flight but every other generally standard thing cost extra. A can of soda is 2$ which made me laugh so for entertainment there's that. Also loved that when my flight arrived at the gate there was no landing crew to receive us. The captain said either they forgot or they didn't know we were coming. Had to wait for an alternate crew."

Thankfully I called the airline and was told if I didn't pay for a seat, one would be assigned for me on my boarding pass. I was not going to pay even more to actually sit on the flight. Two flight attendants ignored me and when they came to our seats they wouldn't even look at me when I smiled at them and was curious about food. I saw it done to other passengers too. I was extremely disappointed by that. Furthermore, Frontier needs to know how long the flight is going to be. Don't be guessing and then be surprised there is no gate available for you. I was told the flight will be 3 hours and it was advertised as such. In the end it was only 2. That in itself is fine, but where was the organization of the company when planning the flight, especially since the flight itself was smooth overall. I just found it weird. The seats were nice and clean. At least the captain updated us when he could. That, I appreciated. Overall, not the best airline but they'll safely get you fro point A to point B and for that I am thankful."

Cons: "2hrs late departing because of air traffic? I don't believe them. I saw a repair van on the tarmac. Seats are packed in VERY close and they don't recline. There's so little padding in the seat that you can feel the metal frame, so you're very uncomfortable. They sell everything they serve including water. There are no monitors so tv or movies are not even an option. Flight crew doesn't say good-bye, thank you or anything as you exit craft. I'm not sure what the attendants do other than offer to sell you water and tell you what you can and cannot do on their plane. They try to shame you into paying for your carry on and paying to book a seat, calling the seat they assign you "random" like they'll put you in the bathroom or out on the wing. When you get to the airport, you find the approved size for your included personal item is the size of your carry on. They don't check to see who paid for their carry on so only suckers paid. We will never ever fly Spirit!"

Cons: "I doubt anyone likes just HOW MUCH Spirit nickel and dimes you. Yes, we all get the concept that since nothing is included, the base fare is cheaper than other airlines.. Which is certainly not always the case. Charging people $10 to print a boarding pass is a joke. It's never convenient to print when I'm in someone else's house, and I refuse to pay $10 for something you have to have that's free everywhere else. If you're going to continue this, it'd be wise to get onboard with technology and have a mobile boarding pass.. Save the trees and all that. I'd rather pay $10 more for my flight and not be worried about printing a boarding pass, and also to include one free soda/water during flight. Please take this all into consideration."

Cons: "Spirit's model is "No frills" which means you have to pay additional $$ for EVERYTHING besides your seat: carry on, checked baggage, food, drinks, etc etc. Someone even had to pay extra to print their boarding pass at the counter (they missed that you have to use the kiosks first). If you are going to actually benefit from low ticket prices you have to be traveling really light and maybe sure you pay for your luggage in advance online. Lines were long, service was slow, and they lost my luggage and never called me when it was finally found. Then they were saying i had to pay to get it delivered, until i proved that i hadn't checked in late to my flight (thankfully my kiosk check-in time was in their system). All around negative experience."

Cons: "On an Atlanta to Boston trip, they cancelled the flight an hour before takeoff, said we couldn't fly out until the next afternoon, and refused to help us rebook with another airline. I was able to rebook with Southwest at double the cost (and it wasn't even a direct flight). Spirit said the flight was cancelled due to weather but every other airline was still flying to Boston."
