Cons: Probably the unhappiest check-in and flight crew I've flown with. Makes me wonder what Norwegian does to its employees. Be advised that they weigh your carry-on bags, and you may be forced to check them. Basically, add $60 to your ticket price to account for round trip bag fees.

Cons: I absolutely hate traveling on this airline and with all the hidden charges realize that they are NOT as budget as one would expect. In this day and age how can one human being pass food or beverage under your nose to the passenger sitting next to you and not have the common courtesy to inquire if you are hungry? It seems odd to serve the "haves" while the "have nots" look on in hunger, the latter group even including children. Surely the better business model and or approach would be an inclusive one. When comparing the additional costs to travel its is far cheaper to take an option whereby luggage and food are included and you are not charged ridiculous amounts for, lets face it microwave meals. The PR for this company is misleading as it does not let the consumer know that this a LOW LOW budget airline and that traditional allowances on long haul flights have been totally obliterated!!!! I have travelled with Norwegian Airlines a total of 3 return flights and have finally had enough, they are an only option at times otherwise the extra 100 dollars for another airline is a pleasure to pay.

Cons: Our flight was suppose to be at 5:10pm. It was cancelled around 10-11pm. Thankfully they were considerate of the fact that I had an infant and found accommodation for us until the next morning, but they were telling passengers at 1am to figure out where to stay until the next flight. Oo and although we knew the flight was cancelled the hassle of getting our bags and going through customs again we didn’t get to our hotel until 2:45am. Most of the staff seemed rude , but that could be because their answer for everything was a sharp “I don’t know”. I can only remember two names of the staff members that were great and put me slightly at ease during this horrible ordeal. Sandy and Suzie were kind and tried to give the best answers they could to the passengers. The flight back was on a Privilege aircraft though Norwegian. The flight attendants were amazing and much more leg room than the newer Norwegian aircraft.

Cons: lack of communication between customer service/gate workers and actual crew members.this resulted in not having bassinet for daughters in plane. -Can't fly together with multiples. Seats for parents flying with infants are window seats, which is an obstacle, especially when changing tables in bathrooms are only on the other side of the plane -food overpriced. Snacks on plane cheaper and better quality than meal provided

Pros: TV screens in backs of seats

Cons: Generally not a comfortable flight. Boarding took ages both ways. I’m generally not down for ‘budget’ international flights - without adding the $60 meal service each way they don’t even offer you a water, let alone a coffee. I had to ask for water in the back and they were stingy about giving it out insisting they had to go in little plastic cups, very inconvenient.

Pros: NOTHING. My experience won't fit in the negative comments, so I'm starting it here. (1/4) We had a 21 hour layover in Iceland, so we left the airport for the night. The next morning, on our way to the airport, we tried to check-in online, but the online check-in service was not working. We arrived about two hours before our scheduled departure and had to wait in a long line since the online check-in service was not working. We checked our bags and ran into our first unfortunate encounter with the airport staff. He sent my friend's bags through, without checking the weight. When he weighed my bag, he then noticed that the first bag sent through was overweight, and mentioned that he had made a mistake. He decided to weigh both our bags together as one entity (to equal 88 lbs.) and made me empty out my suitcase of the extra weight from not only my single bag, but the extra weight from the first bag, as well. He said it was too late to retrieve the first bag, so my friend and I had to divvy up my stuff between our carry on bags. Had we known the first bag was overweight, we would have been able to easily taken stuff out of our OWN suitcases and into our OWN carry ons. Which would have been helpful for what was to come... We then walked through the foodcourt to buy some overpriced snacks for the plane. When we decided it was time to go to our gate, we passed a horrifically long line of people that we assumed couldn't be the line to get through customs, because the last few times we had been at this airport, there was always a maximum of 20 people in line. Once we realized that this line was for customs, we asked an employee working the line if we'd be able to make our flight on time if we had to wait in this line. He said not to worry, that we would be okay, because all of the airlines were notified of the unexpected delay at customs. We patiently waited in this line, and as soon as we were through, ran to our gates. At this point, we knew we were going to JUST miss the time for the gate to close, but were consoled by the fact that the employee at customs had told us that the airlines were notified that some of us would be late arriving due to the unexpected delay and line. We arrived at the gate, and the airport staff working the gate laughed in our faces and told us it was too late. They said they never heard from anyone about any delays at customs, and that the transportation bus to the airplane had left ten minutes ago. "Too bad!" they said. How could it have left ten minutes prior, if the gate said it had closed only a few minutes before we arrived? A lie. We asked about our luggage.

Cons: (2/4) They said that they would notify the plane, and the bags would be taken off, and that we could find them at baggage claim. So let me get this straight - the plane can wait for someone to sift through all of the baggage, find our bags, and remove them from the plane, but wouldn't allow us to take the probably less time to just get on the plane? We asked if there was anyone from WOW that we could speak to, and they pointed us in the direction of another gate. Once we got to that area, there was another group of people that also missed their flight due to the unexpected line at customs. They were speaking with a lady who was telling them that no one from WOW was at the airport, they all went home for the day. We also attempted to talk to this lady, but she was in a hurry to leave for the day, as well, and was very dismissive and talked to us in passing. On our way to baggage claim, we passed customs, which by this time, had no line. We spoke to three people that were standing in that area, and were looking for the guy who told us that our plane was notified of the delay. He was no longer around, but the staff standing there had said that they were unsure why we were told that any aircrafts were notified of delays because that was not true, and that they also were not even ALLOWED to tell travelers this information. So.... the guy that we spoke to in the customs line lied to my face, and was not even allowed to tell us what he did. This infuriates me for MANY reasons. If I had known that we would not make it through the customs line in time, I would have politely asked other travelers towards the front of the line if we could pass them. Most people are very nice, and would of course let us in front of them. I know I would have done that for someone. But instead, since a KEF AIRPORT STAFF told me that MY PLANE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DELAY, I patiently waited in line. Yet another lie. We finally got to baggage claim, and spoke with one of the employees there. He told us that he was not aware of any bags coming back in, but it usually takes about 30 mins. At this point, it probably had already been that long, but my friend waited anyways. Meanwhile, I went back to the check-in area to see if there was anyone available to talk to about the circumstances, or if there was another flight we could get on because both my friend and I had to work the next day. There was no one anywhere, except for at the the Icelandair counter. The woman I spoke to there was very nice (shocker), but there was nothing she could do, that all of the flights leaving the airport to the US for the rest of the day had just closed their time for purchasing tickets. If we had not been lied to and if the staff had not been rude and pointing us in all different directions, I probably could have gotten us on a flight out that night. But yet again, we JUST missed the mark due to being misinformed and mistreated by the airport staff.

Pros: I last traveled on British Airways in May of last year (2015) and the food was beyond dreadful. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised that there has been a huge improvement. They were very generous with the drinks and the food was plentiful and quite a reasonable standard for airline food (they gave two full meals from San Francisco to London, whereas most airlines give one meal and one snack on that route). They actually checked us in on the earlier side, we took off very promptly and got to London early. It was nice to be on time for a change - so often I find airlines run a bit late. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pilot's messages were pleasant, friendly and even a bit informative.

Cons: Web check-in ahead of time was a total disaster. I got an email telling me I could check in 36 hours early and "secure a good seat" but neither of the 2 sets of codes they provided in the email would work because it was all about Finnair but actually the flight was being run by British Airways. I spent about 30 minutes on the 'phone trying to get the appropriate sequence of numbers and letters to enter so as to check in and get a good seat - still nothing worked. This was at 5:45am - I regretted the time spent when I could have gone back to sleep. My daughter later spent a further 90 minutes trying to figure it out, only to be told finally that our only option was to get to the airport early and check n there which was what we did. It was beyond irksome. Please note, if the airline actually flying is different fro the booking airline, the locator number for check n will be DIFFERENT and needs to be provided to the customer to avoid a great deal of hassle and confusion. We gt particularly unlucky because BA computers had a glitch that day but the general point still stands.

Pros: Helsinki is a convenient connection to fly to the U.S. One of Finnair planes was damaged earlier in Chicago and they used AirItaly to operate this flight. I was traveling with a recent wrist fracture and I was lucky I had an empty seat next to me that allowed me to move my arm a lot to avoid swelling.

One thing that really surprised me, though, is how much I liked the eggs (on both flights) and what went with the eggs, like the spinach and potatoes and bacon on this flight and the potatoes and sausage (and was there something else?) on the next flight. Kudos for making something that has got to be cheap taste good. Thanks.

Cons: Come to think of it, there was one thing that I didn't particularly like, and that was how the headphones only worked on one side only (there was only audio on one side). At first I thought that maybe I had just gotten bad headphones, but the my next flight was the same: the headphones also only played audio on one side.

Pros: Pilot was great— we don’t thank them enough for a smooth and safe arrival. Plane was great. Ammenities were given (such as ear plugs etc)

Cons: Crew members are a bit bland and lack customer service, but I noticed that as a whole in Australia (slow service/not really interactive or communicative & very quick to make comments and leave) not sure if they just hate Americans based on the media or what. One crew member cut in line at the restroom when there was 3 of us waiting to go. Another told me my husband couldn’t receive his meal because he was napping and then he quickly walked away— Yet i received mine on the flight coming to Australia when my husband asked for me? Sanitation between flights should be more strict-my headphones were opened which lead me to believe my pillow wasn’t changed either, since one had a case and one didn’t.

Cons: I am handicap, I travel with a scooter. We let them know months in advance and still they did not plan or assist. My scooter was not brought up in Brussels or DC, I refused to leave the plane in DC until they finally brought it to plane. They sat me in row 38...I can only walk a few feet so the airline failed in every aspect...epuc fail. I will never fly Brussels airlines again.

Cons: couldn't checked in online. At the airport, self checking required assistance. The time the staff figure out the problem, it was past the check-in deadline and they couldn't check me in anymore. They put me on a flight via Newark instead that is 3 hours later. At Newark, the connection to London is 10 hours late!! After taking off, the plane goes for 2 hours before landing back in Newark because of technical issue!!!!!!!! Changed flight, and arrived in London after 2 days spent in plane/airport !!!!!!!!!

Cons: There was someone that pooped themselves, another that threw up, and the flight attendants were so rude. They kept spraying stuff in the air and even those of us sitting, so much in fact I had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler. When I told the attendant, she said "theres nothing I can do," and kept spraying the air with this awful spray. The flight harmful to my health, exhausting, and uncomfortable. BEWARE OF THIS AIRLINE! I would have preferred not gone on my trip then fly this airline!

Pros: We didn’t make the flight from London to Rome because of flight delays. there was a huge time delay with our plane sitting on at the terminal and unable to de-board due to scheduling errors. This delay prevented us from making our connection to our next flight and now we are staying in a mediocre hotel for the night and have to wake super early and miss a day of fun at our final desitination. In general I would just move on, but we heard the customer service agent reference that they over booked the two flights to Rome. I guess we were the u lucky customers x two flights because we didn’t get a standby seat in the next flight then the prior agent gave us positive hope that we would get on. Lesson- make sure you have at least 3 hours between connecting flights.

Cons: Changed flight , couldn’t check in. I bought ticked on kayak but vayama was the actual ticket seller on behalf of Iberia which is a British airlines company. I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales.

And the worst thing was that before flight, they closed us in an insulated gate especially for flights to Tel Aviv, something made out of the 1980’s with a small kiosk with cold sandwiches and “espresso” from an automatic machine, if we knew this is the case, we at least would’ve bought something to eat before entering the 80’s terminal/gate.

First of all, It is not clear that you have to do the checkinn at terminal B and then come back to the gate where you have to go pass security. Pros: Seats were comfortable cushion wise, (but not on leg room)

Cons: On an 11 hour flight, 1 water was made available. Everything else including food and any snacks was for pay. With a $1400 ticket that is ridiculous! Every other airline will give you at least drinks and snacks on a commuter flight and meals on international. No online checkin, no seat selection until ticketing, incredibly expensive flight change fees, flight service was bad. I will not fly Norwegian airlines again.

Cons: My flight was cancelled, and I understand Easyjet couldn't control that, but the way they handled the situation was absolutely terrible. I waited in line for 3 hours trying to talk to a representative about rebooking my flight and getting a hotel, but after a while they said they couldn't book hotels anymore and we would have to do it ourselves. After three hours of waiting in a line that barely moved I decided to give up and went to my hotel which I had to book myself and booked a flight for the next morning with a different airline.

Pros: Buy tickets early for super cheap, or pay more last minute. Fly no-frills for cheap, or pay for perks. Norwegian Airlines' model works for everyone.

Cons: The crew could have been more attentive. They forgot to bring a coffee I ordered through the system and ran out of milk.

Cons: Very disappointed in my first longhaul flight on Norwegian Air. Check in staff at Boston was snarly, the food was very average, and the leg room in economy was the least I've ever experienced on an international flight. I am 5 foot three and I do not understand how anyone even a few inches taller than me would not be in imminent danger of developing a blood clot. Horrible. This is a Dreamliner? I only had nightmares.

Cons: I absolutely hate traveling on this airline and with all the hidden charges realize that they are NOT as budget as one would expect. In this day and age how can one human being pass food or beverage under your nose to the passenger sitting next to you and not have the common courtesy to inquire if you are hungry? It seems odd to serve the "haves" while the "have nots" look on in hunger, the latter group even including children. Surely the better business model and or approach would be an inclusive one. When comparing the additional costs to travel its is far cheaper to take an option whereby luggage and food are included and you are not charged ridiculous amounts for, lets face it microwave meals. The PR for this company is misleading as it does not let the consumer know that this a LOW LOW budget airline and that traditional allowances on long haul flights have been totally obliterated!!!! I have travelled with Norwegian Airlines a total of 3 return flights and have finally had enough, they are an only option at times otherwise the extra 100 dollars for another airline is a pleasure to pay.

Pros: The configuration of the seats are really awkward. Seems very interesting at a glance, but not so nice when you have to sit in it for 10 hours. The business class seats are very narrow. I'm pretty petite so it was okay for me, but I think an average or bigger than average person would have a hard time turning at all while the seat is in lie flat position. I had a window seat which gives you more privacy as long as you have the divider up between you and the passenger next to you. You are really arm length away from each other though. And! You can't have the divider down the entire time because they serve your meals by passing it over to you across your neighbor through the divider. The divider is also required to be down during taxi, take off and landing. So, I'd imagine it to be very awkward if you're sitting next to a total stranger. You also have to straddle over someone's legs if you want to get out of your seat to the bathroom if you have window seats.

Pros: Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost.

Cons: The food on BA continues to be meh, but what most people don't realize is that ALL airline food is meh, because your tastebuds don't work properly 30k feet in the air (it's a scientific fact).

Pros: Great entertainment options and food selection, just wish they had the selection they advertised...

Cons: Booked the flight and paid extra for the main cabin selection to guarantee sitting with my husband. Got to the airport, app had already pre-checked us in and my seat selection was changed! Not sure why I paid extra when they were just going to chpose my seat anyways (DL 2222 on 11/6) Hoping my return flight this not have this happen..... Will be calling Delta when we get home.

Cons: The person next to me was a very large individual and the seats were not wide. This phenomenon had nothing to do with Delta as a carrier, however.

Pros: NOTHING. My experience won't fit in the negative comments, so I'm starting it here. (1/4) We had a 21 hour layover in Iceland, so we left the airport for the night. The next morning, on our way to the airport, we tried to check-in online, but the online check-in service was not working. We arrived about two hours before our scheduled departure and had to wait in a long line since the online check-in service was not working. We checked our bags and ran into our first unfortunate encounter with the airport staff. He sent my friend's bags through, without checking the weight. When he weighed my bag, he then noticed that the first bag sent through was overweight, and mentioned that he had made a mistake. He decided to weigh both our bags together as one entity (to equal 88 lbs.) and made me empty out my suitcase of the extra weight from not only my single bag, but the extra weight from the first bag, as well. He said it was too late to retrieve the first bag, so my friend and I had to divvy up my stuff between our carry on bags. Had we known the first bag was overweight, we would have been able to easily taken stuff out of our OWN suitcases and into our OWN carry ons. Which would have been helpful for what was to come... We then walked through the foodcourt to buy some overpriced snacks for the plane. When we decided it was time to go to our gate, we passed a horrifically long line of people that we assumed couldn't be the line to get through customs, because the last few times we had been at this airport, there was always a maximum of 20 people in line. Once we realized that this line was for customs, we asked an employee working the line if we'd be able to make our flight on time if we had to wait in this line. He said not to worry, that we would be okay, because all of the airlines were notified of the unexpected delay at customs. We patiently waited in this line, and as soon as we were through, ran to our gates. At this point, we knew we were going to JUST miss the time for the gate to close, but were consoled by the fact that the employee at customs had told us that the airlines were notified that some of us would be late arriving due to the unexpected delay and line. We arrived at the gate, and the airport staff working the gate laughed in our faces and told us it was too late. They said they never heard from anyone about any delays at customs, and that the transportation bus to the airplane had left ten minutes ago. "Too bad!" they said. How could it have left ten minutes prior, if the gate said it had closed only a few minutes before we arrived? A lie. We asked about our luggage.

Cons: (2/4) They said that they would notify the plane, and the bags would be taken off, and that we could find them at baggage claim. So let me get this straight - the plane can wait for someone to sift through all of the baggage, find our bags, and remove them from the plane, but wouldn't allow us to take the probably less time to just get on the plane? We asked if there was anyone from WOW that we could speak to, and they pointed us in the direction of another gate. Once we got to that area, there was another group of people that also missed their flight due to the unexpected line at customs. They were speaking with a lady who was telling them that no one from WOW was at the airport, they all went home for the day. We also attempted to talk to this lady, but she was in a hurry to leave for the day, as well, and was very dismissive and talked to us in passing. On our way to baggage claim, we passed customs, which by this time, had no line. We spoke to three people that were standing in that area, and were looking for the guy who told us that our plane was notified of the delay. He was no longer around, but the staff standing there had said that they were unsure why we were told that any aircrafts were notified of delays because that was not true, and that they also were not even ALLOWED to tell travelers this information. So.... the guy that we spoke to in the customs line lied to my face, and was not even allowed to tell us what he did. This infuriates me for MANY reasons. If I had known that we would not make it through the customs line in time, I would have politely asked other travelers towards the front of the line if we could pass them. Most people are very nice, and would of course let us in front of them. I know I would have done that for someone. But instead, since a KEF AIRPORT STAFF told me that MY PLANE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DELAY, I patiently waited in line. Yet another lie. We finally got to baggage claim, and spoke with one of the employees there. He told us that he was not aware of any bags coming back in, but it usually takes about 30 mins. At this point, it probably had already been that long, but my friend waited anyways. Meanwhile, I went back to the check-in area to see if there was anyone available to talk to about the circumstances, or if there was another flight we could get on because both my friend and I had to work the next day. There was no one anywhere, except for at the the Icelandair counter. The woman I spoke to there was very nice (shocker), but there was nothing she could do, that all of the flights leaving the airport to the US for the rest of the day had just closed their time for purchasing tickets. If we had not been lied to and if the staff had not been rude and pointing us in all different directions, I probably could have gotten us on a flight out that night. But yet again, we JUST missed the mark due to being misinformed and mistreated by the airport staff.

Pros: The planes are nice and new. Prices are very cheap. If you book economy and then upgrade to "extra room" seats and buy a meal seats you're basically flying in what they call businiess class for a lot less.

Cons: There was a huge snowstorm in Boston. A lot of people did not make it to the airport before the check-in desk closed. The airplane itself was grounded because of the snow for two hours. So a lot of people were in the main waiting area, while their plane was at the gate, but WOW did not care at all. They would not bring any gate agents out to check people in even though the plane was on the ground waiting. Many of us tried calling their support line - no answer. After a very long wait you get to what sounds like an India or Pakistan call center. The people there don't have any information, and the only things they can do are whatever you can do on the website. WOW has no real phone agents. I saw their gate agents later walking around and asked them to check us in - they shrugged. Would not check us in, despite the plane being on the ground. They could care less. Other airlines were shocked at how we were treated. Iceland Air was amazing. They saw our predicament and brought one of their managers out to their check-in gate to sell us last minute tickets on Iceland Air. A bunch of WOW customers ended up getting tickets on Iceland Air, and we actually ended up flying out of Boston before the delayed WOW air flight. If you get on the WOW flight - service is good. But you're taking a risk. Ground staff really does not care at all and will pretend they don't know you.

Pros: Nice newish planes. Competent but basic service in the air. Nice air crew.

Cons: Ground agents are bad. Don't care about you. Won't answer questions. Don't care what happens to you. Don't care if you make your flight, or if your connection is delayed. There is no phone support. If you have a problem - you're on your own. Online checkin is broken. Does not work at all.
