Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

This is my sixth time traveling to Switzerland from San Francisco on Swiss....Their service in my opinion remains excellent......The cabin crew was cheerful friendly yet remained very efficient at the same time... The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

My kids asked a few times why those people were upset (regarding both flight crew as well as ground crew). Online services to request seat assignments does not work. We tried to get seat assignments over the phone, and it seems Iberia only picks up the phone if you going to purchase a ticket, otherwise forget about getting help over the phone, and/or online (email as well as website). After trying to obtain child menus over the website and phone, I drove to the airport Iberia desk to order it there two days before the flight. The desk manager was helpful and requested for us to send an email with the request, so he could set it up once the flight opened up two days before the flight. I sent out the email to find out on the flight once food service started that the request was never placed."

Cons: "There was bad weather which understandably caused delays, however the communication during this eventual 16 hour delay was horrendous. We were told for the first two hours that we would be delayed each hour and then they would make a decision to delay another hour. This went on for 4 hours (the last two hours of which we did not receive any updates). The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 8:10. At 12:30am we were told our plane was at the gate and being prepared for us to board and the agent giving announcements said we were "guaranteed to leave TONIGHT". At 1am we were told that unfortunately the plane got to the gate just a bit too late and not the crew are not legally allowed to fly and the flight would be pushed back until 8am. At the time, I thought 7 hours was strange and I'd assume the crew would need more like 8-10 hours to rest. Unfortunately because we were told so late, all hotels were booked up. I live in NYC and would've gone home for the night however because we needed to be back by 6am (what the agent suggested), there seemed no point in leaving. We were not provided with any pillows or blankets until 4 in the morning. At 6am the next morning, we were told the crew needed "more rest time" and that our new departure time would be 9:30. How is it that the crew now needs more time? Shouldn't that have been figured out at 1am? Before we board, one of the agents thinks they will "lighten the mood" with the following comment - "Who would've thought a little bad weather would've caused this?" Absolutely not a time for jokes and people were very angry. We finally board for what we think is finally a 9:30am take off. No - now two new issues - 1, the co pilot is late (LATE? how can you be late when a flight has been delayed 16 hours) and 2, they needed to remove package from the plane for people who were no longer taking this flight. In the end, we took off around 11:30am which messed up a lot of peoples connecting flights, pick ups at the airport, etc. I will never fly this airline again."

And I paid $45 to get that window seat instead of my original seat that had been randomly assigned!! I wish that airlines provided a couple seats for tall people, because our height is a kind of disability given the cramped seating (which average height people complain about)."

The communication from the boarding crew was atrocious, as they did not keep us informed until maybe an hour after the fact that it was already delayed. After finally being cleared to board we were all cramped and rushed on a shuttle from the waiting area to the plane. I've been on cramped planes before, but maybe not this badly. I received a middle seat, which was alright, but the amount of space to move around in was unacceptable. I attempted to load my carry on in the storage compartment overhead but it was all taken up. That made matters worse in terms of having space to stretch my feet out, as the person's next to me were not the kindest and kept cramping me even more. The delaying of my flight made me miss my check in to my hotel two hours later. I lost most of my day I'm being able to have free time before the check in due to it. Overall, I was not satisfied one bit with the airline service. I just hope that my return flight is a more pleasant one."

Nobody could help, nobody could direct me where to go or who to call, the person on he phone when I called Norwegian was unhelpful and rude and informed me that nobody that worked for Norwegian or associated was at a the airport and that if I wanted to change my flight I would have to do so within the next 10 minutes (from that moment but that there were no flights available that would get me there on time more my engagement 36 hours later) this was one of the worst airline experiences (and indeed any consumer experience) I have ever endured. I am planning to launch a very aggressive and hopefully damaging social campaign against Norwegian, APS (the incompetents that apparently are the contractors for Norwegian at he airport), and potentially Kayak for the role each group has played in this charade."

Cons: "They overbooked and denied me from boarding even though I was on time. They first told me the next available flight with an opening would be 48 hours later, and a couple hours later they told me never mind, the next available flight wouldn't be avIlble until 5 entire days later. Trip ruined, my first international flight ever. After 6+ hours of battling on the phone with them and looking for other flights (prices starting at 700% of my original booking price) I accepted defeat, left the airport, headed home and went to sleep. When I woke up the next day version of the same flight on the same airline was available for only about 210% the original booking price, a flight they specifically told me would not be available to me for a transfer. They ultimately booked the transfer "free of charge" although they tried to tell me I would not be refunded for the original flight, nor granted the voucher for a future flight that they originally tried to offer me to pacify me, nor would they pay me the compensation I am legally entitled to in these circumstances for 400% of the original booking price up to $1,350 for international flights delayed by at least 4 hours. In other words, I had to choose between getting to my destination a day late after incurring many additional expenses as a result of their overbooking practices and being told the next flight was in 144 hrs (a day before my originally planned return date), or canceling the trip maybe possibly being partially compensated for all the money I already put into the trip. All in all about the worst experience I could imagine short of the plane crashing or them punching me in the face and then laughing at me just for fun."
Cons: "Norwegian boasts of having great legroom, entertainment and food options but after a 3 hour delay for an 11pm flight, the plane that was used was an old 777 from another random European budget airline. I'm only 5'6" and my knees where touching the seat in front of me. When the person in front of me reclined I was literally trapped and had to climb onto my seat and over the armrest. There was no working entertainment system and the food was some terrible fare that didn't meet any very low standard for an international flight. The crew was clearly understaffed but they were pleasant enough. also the plane was not clean. Before wed even taken off you could smell sewage from the bathroom. Overall it was unpleasant and not all worth the "budget" price of $800."

So we got our first meal and weren't even offered our second meal. I thought that the second meal might had been an option while on the plane. We landed hungry and bought food during our layover, which is when I found out through my sister that the second meal was included in our meal plan (she was sitting in another row). Also, our flight was delayed and we weren't receiving any notifications, updates or explanation why. It was not until 5 minutes prior to boarding that the agents told everybody that we will be able to board soon."
