The flight was generally acceptable

Late departure, warning of turbulence - with no actual turbulence. Fight attendant wouldn’t let me use the lavatory during the un-turbulent turbulence. You can’t get anything to drink without paying at least $2. The fees are annoying. I miss comfortable full service airlines.

If you have carry-on, you are seated first so there is room in the overhead compartment. That is great. Non-stop flight from DCA to Denver.

This was my return flight to DCA. The flight home was marginally better because I paid $13 to upgrade to a window seat. I did not upgrade further for $45 to include reclining and more leg room. I guessed right the little extra room by the window gave me enough to be slightly more comfortable than the torturous middle seat. This time I checked my carry-on early, and saved $7. I paid $38 instead of $45. I prepaid my checked luggage. My base ticket was $368 but with the checked luggage, carry-on, and changed seat fees, it cost me $510. The base rate was not sufficiently low enough to really make a difference because of the all the add-on charges. Besides the charge for carry-ons, there is a charge for a simple drink or snack - $2.99. At least other airlines offer water and nuts, & do not charge for carry-ons. The ticket cost for other airlines were not near or over $510. This bare bones, nickel & dime may be good for some but not for me. I would rather give up a nonstop flight for comfort on a 4-hour trip and no hassles about carry-on luggage or a cup of water. If the trip was under 2 hours, it may not have been so bad but the fees for this or that is not very appetizing either.

I like that I was added to the upgrade list. I used to loathe flying with United because the staff and crew were simply terrible. They were rude, unhelpful and could care less about what you needed. However, since that unfortunate incident of dragging that poor man off the plane a while back, you all have been trying very hard to get your butts in gear and do better and I see it. Keep improving the training is employees and I’ll be proud to fly with you all again.

However the list is so long and not realistic that anyone will ever actually get upgraded. Im usually number 40 or higher and there are often maybe 4-6 actual upgrade seats. Guess it’s just a way to let everyone one where they stand so I gets it snktball awful.

The flight actually had hot food for sale! The cheeseburger was pretty good.

I had a really hard time getting the cabin crews' attention during boarding for a piece of safety equipment. I hit the call light, tried to catch them as the crew was distributing headphones, and the light got turned off by an off-duty flight attendant without checking that we needed something. I got it in the end with an apology from crew but I still don't feel terribly safe Also, the paid entertainment system that my neighbors purchased seemed to be down with static for a portion of the flight.

A cheap option to upgrade to 1st was offered that ended up being a net 0 cost upgrade for me so I took it. Comfortable on an old (but oh so nice) aircraft.

Arrived 30 minutes early to the airport but then had to sit at a remote pad so that we ended up being 5 minutes late to the gate. A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available.

Actually pushed back from gate on time in Philadelphia. Took about 25 minutes from then til take off. Landed only a few minutes behind schedule. Crew was pleasant. Food was okay.

It was a Finnair flight but operated by American Airlines. I booked through Justfly.com and paid extra for what I thought were our seats. Don’t pay Justfly for seating choice as the operating airline can switch your seats. Online checkin was difficult as I tried Finnair first with no luck, then got somewhere with American. Seats were not very comfortable but I guess that’s what you get in economy.

Late departure, warning of turbulence - with no actual turbulence. Fight attendant wouldn’t let me use the lavatory during the un-turbulent turbulence. You can’t get anything to drink without paying at least $2. The fees are annoying. I miss comfortable full service airlines.

Great crew, easy boarding.

Zero entertainment (no TVs, WiFi, inflight magazines or electrical outlets), very small tray tables, pretty uncomfortable seats

The flight was fine, and the seat was ok for the length of the flight. The plane left and landed as scheduled. The crew was professional and friendly.

Budget airlines nickel and dime you. We paid to get a seat assignment, and we paid for a checked bag. The worst part of the flight was the baggage drop at Denver. It took an hour, too few staff and lots of passengers with lots of bags.

It got me where I needed to go.

I had to pay to carry on a bag, AND to pick a seat at check in. There were no complimentary refreshments or a snack which I had planned on because it's simply good customer service, and a standard expectation, to have that in a longer flight. This is my first time flying Frontier in a long time and I will stick to Southwest next time as they don't nickel and dime you for the basic essentials of flying nowadays. Like a carry on bag and water. Horrible experience!

Breakfast was quite good, rest of the food was maximum average like on the other Delta flights I flew on this travel.

The seats in business class are horrible in flat bed mode. The crew did not pay much attention, was quite bored, not well organized, service was less than average. They forgot the coffee for breakfast although they had only to care for 8 people.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
