When asking her why she didn't provide us a snack she said that this is a plane and when the captain says we have to land that she doesn't have to pass out snacks. The interesting thing is that all the other passengers around us receive snacks and bottled water except us. When we were leaving the plane after it landed my mom had to stay behind while I went to the front of the plane a good wheelchair assistance. The same stewardess said why did your son leave you and my mother had to correct her and say that he went to the front to get wheelchair assistance. The lady was very rude and didn't know proper manners."

Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers."

Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin."

I arrived at the gate at 9:49 only to find that the flight had not only boarded but had already left. The reps at the counter showed no level of empathy and acted put out when asked to provide transportation to the reassigned gate. Lastly, the flight could've offered something more than a $10 food voucher, especially since the majority of the food in the airport is greater than $10."

Then we had to wait for 1/2 an hour for a maintenance crew to arrive so they could sign off on the problem??? Seriously? Why wasn't the maintenance crew already waiting for the plane once the decision was made to return to the gate? One would have thought after such an inconvenience that Frontier could afford to let go of some of its $5 sodas or pretzels for free to the passengers, are you kidding...NOT! We were offered about 4 ounces of warm water. Yup, they would not even let go of their ice. I guess the lesson is that you live and learn, I will never fly Frontier again."

Pros: "I really like Spirit's business model. Fresh planes, different style seats with less upholstery (less chance of absorbind spills and odors, as I see it) that results in more leg room. The upgrade to the top-tier seating (not called first class) is affordable and offers more room to stretch out and faster boarding. There is no food provided, no screen in the back of the seats to wacth movies, and carry on bags cost extra. And I LIKE this, because these are things I can do without yet with other airlines I'm paying a higher price. I gave 5 stars to the food and entertainment catagories because I like this approach of having neither. The planes are new and feel reliable and fresh. Feels like the future of air travel."

I'm not even sure why they were sent?!? Our flight left at the exact time that I booked it for."

Pros: "Started off OK then I went quickly downhill. Left Tampa using pre-check which is nice now that they have it on spirit. Arrived in Houston early. And I wrote to myself which was nice."
Cons: "Weather delay with fog in San Diego. Not Spirit's fault but they delayed for an hour and a half and then cancel the flight. As they canceled the flight they came around with cards with a number to call to rebook or change your itinerary. I called the number on the car rather than getting right in line at the desk. By the time I got through on the phone it would have been 10 to 15 minutes. They told me that since I was halfway through my return trip they couldn't do anything over the phone. So then I had to get in line and wait. I was the last person served. They offered me a flight to days later at the same time 9:45 PM that was unacceptable so I ask for something else and he somehow turned out they had a Houston Chicago San Diego flight that leaves tomorrow morning at seven. Very disappointed in the handling by the rebooking staff on the phone the gate agents were very friendly but very overworked and stressed. Service manager was there and he put me on a call back on the phone but that didn't help either. Not flying spirit again anytime soon."

Cons: "I arrived to checkin in my bag early so I could relax in the airport only to be created with a sign stating that no one would be available to assist me until 4 PM which was two hours later? I then proceeded to pay by the kiosk to check my bag to be safe but then was unable to leave it. I then had to still carry the bag around only to return and be at the back of an extremely long line of people waiting. I finally get through then proceeded to my gate 17 to checkin. Once one the plane I noticed several people with bags the size of mine as carry on which meant I just wasted $52. I was extremely disgusted because I could have possibly had this issue resolved and saved my hard earned money if someone was at the baggage checkin desk."

Cons: "When you purchase your ticket it's very inexpensive. But when you go to check in, you find out you should pay for bags and if you prefer a assign seat you must pay for that also. The extra fees on my flight cost $250.00. You can only purchase food on the plane with a debit card. nothing is free. When you factor that in with the cost of the ticket, the price isn't much lower than other airlines that include the extras in the price."
