A ten min delay. That tells me they knew already there was an issue and chose not to deal with it until the next flight. Not a good way to address the mechanical issue. We pulled away from the boarding area and sat on runway while they tried to fix the minor issue."

Cons: "When I received my luggage it was so damaged that someone used clear tape to keep it closed. There was no note inside the luggage to state if it was tsa who went through the bag so I went to customer service to inquire about it. The representative from New York airport stated that I over packed my bag that's why it was damaged. I can assure you that my bag was under weight and there was no problem when i last closed it. So to be clear both zippers on my luggage was completely destroyed and taped up like a ragged cloth. I was embarrassed to walk around with my bag and the only recompensation I received was a $40 credit to my next flight."

Pros: "You can pretty much count on having a great crew with JetBlue This flight's embodied patience: patience with the lady who wanted to bring a smartecarte loaded with diaper bags, blankies, handbags and stuffed animals onto the plane; patience with the baby in the first row who cried throughout the entire boarding process and patience witht; patience with the lady in the first row (who didn't have a seat in front of her to put her handbag containing a small service dog underneath) and two, I guess, wanted to keep the dog on her lap during take off. It was a plane full of first time flyers, with resulting chaos. And they kept their cool throughout."

But it sure makes it trying for people who are sharing the same cramped space. You don't realize that there's an art to being a good passenger until you see passengers who are unskilled at being passengers. I know this sounds very unkind, but it was a late flight."

This gets everyone on the plane quickly and efficiently. Also, the crew enforces the overhead bin space for large carry on items and small items under the seat."

We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

She did get put on another flight a couple hours later but had a 12 hour layover in London which made her miss a full day of vacation."

I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

There was no attempt or offer to ameliorate the inconvenience, or refund the cost -- even an upgrade would have been appreciated. just here's what we have, take it or leave it. Not one smile either to Orlando or from Orlando. (Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone.""

Cons: "Allergies. American Airlines must do a better job of accommodating children with peanut allergies. It is obvious they do not get the serious health issue and life threatening situation of the allergy. Our family traveling to Disney on AA had a very uncomfortable ride."

After an announcement that a new aircraft "might"arrive but we may have to fly the next day, I had my travel agent book a flight with Southwest. Only reason ever given was that there was an "odor" on the aircraft....awesome. I know aircraft issues happen, but the communication was horrible."

Cons: "I had booked an international flight with British Airways and it ended up being American Airlines. There was no notification of this change and I was not happy. I found AA to be subpar. The plane itself didn't have individual screens and my view was obstructed by other seats. The food was terrible and I got sick later, possibly from the bad airline food. Overall I got to my destination on time, but unhappy as I had chosen an airline and was forced to use another."

Cons: "Plane was very warm upon boarding due to issues with auxiliary cooling but informed it would change as engines turned on . I sat in row 20 and it was very cold during flight. Flight attendant inquired about comfort. It improved for about 10 minutes and returned to cold state . Noticed that one attendant put on some kind of jacket due to coldness . Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight ."

One of the flight crew members even found me at customs to return a toy we had inadvertently left that belonged to my 13 month old. She certainly did not have to do that, so we are very thankful. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name."
Cons: "Unlike other airlines we have traveled that give priority to people traveling with children, American Airlines does not. That would be something that would be helpful for traveling parents. Allowing people with children to board first and get off the plane first would make things better for all passengers. Planes are also outdated. We have been traveling with other airlines that have individual screens. Much easier for people to travel on long flights when they have individual entertainment."

Ended up costing me double $$ when I had to re rent a car because our counter closed at 1am (not a problem had we been on time) Flight home wasn't any better. Separated my companion flyer and myself, attendant got very snippy when I asked about it - told me I should have paid extra money to sit next to each other. Arrival into Phila airport, waited an HOUR and 10 minutes for our bag. Never again. I'll spend more money on better airlines to avoid that headache. Ended up wasting money on other things just to "save" a few dollars on my flights. Worst flight experience I've EVER had, that says a lot when you fly 2-3x a month."

Here's the cherry on top of this Turd Sundae: Kayak sent me an email saying the flight was delayed an hour, I show up an hour later and it turns out the plane was never delayed! I almost missed the flight! I'm never flying Frontier or using Kayak again."

Pros: "Polite and Pleasant staff. Clean airplane. Inexpensive ticket. Direct flight. Couldn't ask for anything else. Thanks Frontier!"

Pros: "The plan was new and clean. Nice job on the finishes.flight was turbulent and the staff was very attentive to those passenger that needed assistance,great job."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed and we received no explanation to as why. Then when we boarded the flight it was half empty. But everyone was seated towards the back of the plan on top of each other.I asked the attendant if me and my son could move to one of the at least 20 empty rows, because we were seated apart from each other ,was told I would have to wait even though the boarding was completed. The attendant came back selected to move 3 rows of passengers to balance out the flight and never move us. And to pay for carry-on is ridiculous!"

Pros: "I liked the crew members. They were very nice and helpful."
Cons: "I realize I should have researched prior, but I was extremely disappointed and shocked when I realized that I had to buy my ticket, THEN buy my seat, THEN also pay for a carry-on bag! My carry-on cost more than had I checked a bag. With any other airline, the carry-on is always the best way to go... but not with Frontier. Then, we did not even take off for over an hour due to 'wrong paperwork.' The plane seats were paper thin uncomfortable, the tray that folds down wasn't even large enough to hold my laptop. Finally, I've never been on a flight that doesn't offer a complimentary beverage. I found it very rude that after the charges left and right that you aren't willing to give passengers a water. I will never fly Frontier again and I've told all my friends and family to do the same."

Pros: "The only thing that I liked was the crew. There was no entertainment of any kind on this flight"
Cons: "Having to pay $30.00 for a carry on bag on both flights. That was an additional $60.00 for me beside the air fare. I wouldn't recommend Frontier Airlines to any of my friends."

Cons: "flight ended up being a good value. However sales practices to me were much more nickel and diming than I will tolerate with future purchases. Flight itself was very inexpensive. However, it was then $ 40 for the seat. What really got me was the baggage charge which was $ 30 to check the bag or $ 40 to carry it on. I always think that someone can do just about anything to me once but not twice."

Cons: "I don't think it was frontiers fault but we waited almost 90 minutes waiting for baggage. We had three pieces total for our group the first two came out about 45-60 minutes and then all baggage stopped until we got the last piece. I personally blame Philadelphia but I honestly don't know becAuse on the trip down disney world picked up our luggage"

Cons: "There is no entertainment and there was a screaming toddler the entire flight. Every plane should have a screaming section that is sound proof from the rest of the plane. Or the crew should have something to offer the child, maybe an iPad with a movie or game to appease the child, and the passengers that have to hear it, obviously the parents weren't well equipped for the flight."

There is no beverage service and the tray tables are half sized and unable to accommodate a lap top. You’re forced into being crammed typing with the computer on your lap. Minimal and piecemeal communication regarding our diversion to another city. There was clearly no communication from the pilot to the flight attendants who were trying to do their best to assist passengers. If you’re diverting to a different city, passengers have a right to know what’s going on. Hidden/extra fees. I see no cost benefit in flying Slirjt due to all of the fees"

Cons: "Everything else “Spirit” related was a debacle. We lost our baby’s stroller attachment for the car seat. Very helpful as without it we are unable to use our stroller. Attempted to have several Spirit employees help however all everyone did was send us to another person and ultimately the last person just ignored us. We went down to baggage claim to see if by chance anyone turned in the attachment but we’re only told to file a report and if they so happen to find it they will contact us. This is no help whatsoever. Will never fly spirit again!"

I probly won't fly Spirit again because unless you don't want/need food and beverages, a carry-on, leg room, in-flight entertainment, etc it's not worth it. I even had to ask the B&B owner for a printer so I could print my boarding pass (to avoid paying $10 at the airport) In the future I'll pay the extra $75 so I don't have to worry about all of that."

Cons: "Boarding was almost 45 minutes late. Checking in online was a hassle as I was forced to create an account and gave out more personal information just to check in. Information given over the web is usually subjected to sale to other agencies for marketing purposes, and I do not believe that checking into my flight requires yet another online account filled with personal information."

Cons: "Will never fly Spirit airlines again. First flight was cancelled, return flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. I waited at the ticketing desk for 3+ hours (while on hold with customer service on my cell phone). Never had my call answered and also did not ever get to the counter for my refund. HORRIBLE experience, worst customer service ever. A total inconvenience, I had to rearrange all my travel plans, incurring many additional expenses and also book a different outgoing flight at a higher cost in order to get to my destination. Also, the flight seems cheaper but then they gouge you by charging for your seat and also for your carry on. Not any cheaper in the end. NEVER AGAIN."

Cons: "Fare cheap but all the 'musts'made it more than any other airline: $9 Online fee; $25 kiosk fee (which didn't work and had to pay $50 fee to check in with clerk; had to check bag approved for under seat/carry on (12"c12") and since kiosk didn't work, charged $60 for 1st bag, even though I paid $60 for a 'first checked bag' and 2nd bag should hAve been cheaper. It was TSA agent who told me I would be required to check the bag by Spirit as it didn't meet carry on criteria and if I didn't check now, would be $100 at gate. I told her that I was traveling back with same TSA approved (and Spirit online rules) and she became rude and rejected my bag (and did a complete body search) so, I was forced to check the bag or miss my flight. I asked her and the Spirit clerk (3) if this was a TSA/ Spirit racket with kickbacks for TSA and/or Spirit and NOT on of them laughed, smiled, or denied this question. Mever again will I fly Spirit airlines or recommend to anyone!"

Pros: "The only thing I liked was the flight was on time both trips"
Cons: "Seating was too tight and uncomfortable. I felt like a sardine and I am an average size woman. Anyone larger would have a serious problem. I was very unhappy with all the hidden costs not mentioned up front. These costs doubled the cost I paid when I booked the flight. I actually had to pay more to have a seat when I went online to print the boarding pass! My "carry-on" bag was the allowable size for every other airline, but I was forced to pay an additional $40 and had to check it instead of carrying it on. I was very disappointed and don't plan on flying with Spirit in the future. With all the additional costs, it will cost less money to fly another airline that is more comfortable and accommodating."

Cons: "hated everything about it and will not be flying with them again, also they seemed more inclined to get you to buy stuff, you dont even get a complimentary cup of water, how sad."

Cons: "Agendas were extremely rude and disrespectful. I had a family issue causing me to drive to my destination, and kept my flight so I could fly home. When I went to check in online, there was no itinerary to be found. I called, and they said since I was a "no show", it was cancelled and I could not be reimbursed. I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

Pros: "I enjoyed having no one in the seats next to me...have the ability to stretch out was nice, but that's probably because the rest of the passengers were still in the horrible line to check-in."
Cons: "THE ENTIRE CHECK-IN PROCESS!!! Spirit was having a BAD morning. The Kiosks weren't working and they had a RIDICULOUS line. I arrived at the airport, pre-checked in, just needing to print my boarding pass. After finding out that none of the kiosks were working I had to stand in a line that passed TWO OTHER AIRLINE DESKS and weaved through the entire Spirit queue. I would have missed my flight had I not had an extremely helpful airport employee (I think people called him Paps) who rushed me to the front, had them print my pass, and helped me get through security quickly. The guy was a hero. The airline not doing anything to assist their passengers was a nightmare. Never flying Spirit again."
