Other planes who were scheduled to leave after us got to leave earlier than us so I don't know what happened there. After I was finally on the plane my headphone jack would not work. I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue."

At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

Again the flight was late and while I know it was due to weather, we were seated in the plane and sat at the gate for more than an hour. Apparently, we were not cleared to be given an update. Pros: "Onky 1 flight attendant did a wonderful job seeing to everyone's safety & needs in a courteous way with a beautiful smile. Plane was delayed due to weather & she handed out water as we sat in the plane waiting for the storm to pass. When finally off the ground she managed to serve drinks to all & pass out an assortment of goodies from which we could choose. Southwest simply gave out pretzels on one trip & peanuts on another. Thanks for the selection Jet Blue! She did all this single handedly during a pretty quick flight."

Unfortunaltelly the ALMOST it is so, due such an important role such a host/hostess at the airport representing so poorly the company, EVERY TIME I leave from fortlauderdale airport. Once the check-in kiosk fails to complete to check you in (and I am ok with machines poor work) you are directed to a crew members in the counters. A host/hostess from jetblue standing in front of the counters, instead of greet you properly or showing some sort of degree of willingness to welcome you or help you tell you "yes, what do you need... ? That never fails! It feels like you are breaking in into a zone you are not suppose to be, and annoyingly you are disturbing these people. It so confusing why they have those attitudes, specially at that position, where you really need to clear up the bad weed in choosing your personnel. I think these few"crew members" can make a smooth transition to nightclub bouncers, where I'm sure will be a great fit."
Cons: "Every segment of my roundtrip flight was delayed or late, including the last leg of my flight delayed multiple times. I could not check in for my last segment on-line via my phone. The message I was given during check in process said in red letters, that I needed to speak to an agent at the counter. I was on a tropical island, i couldn't just run down to the airport. I tried calling customer service, but wasn't able to connect due to bad cell service. My connections were tight and because I couldn't checkin the prior day, I was not allowed to get a seat on my original flight. I was rescheduled on to new flights and those were delayed. I sat in Ft Lauderdale for 6+ hours. Once on the plane, I was assigned a seat that doesn't recline. What was originally supposed to be a 5 hour travel day turned into a 15+ hour travel day. There were no weather issues that day, just JetBlue being terrible."

To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed and we missed the connection even though we were told that the connecting flight was waiting for us. The only options provided were to wait until Tuesday (it was Sunday) without a Hotel or to receive a reimbursement and find another flight by our own. We had to buy a ticket from another airline. The reimbursement received was not even half of the amount paid or the price for one way ticket to that destination. We received a $50 voucher that expires in 2 months. No one from that flight wants to travel ever again with Spirit. Customer service was awful."

Cons: "At the FLL airport there were 2 lines outside the airport. We asked an employee and the person directed us to the shortest line. 30 minutes later another Spirit employee passed by us and asked if we had boarding passes and if we needed to pay for our luggage. We had boarding passed and had already paid for our luggage, Then she said we were supposed to be on the other line. She moved us to a very long line. I kept telling employees that our departure time was in about an hour and they kept saying we were in time. WE arrived at the gate 8 minutes before closing the doors. My luggage did not make it in time to the airplane and stayed behind in FLL. I blame those employees that did not inform us properly and to the lack of informative signs around the Spirit counters. This will be my last Spirit flight. The $40 charged per bag is too much and the carry-on sizes are too small."

Technically they may be right ... read the agreement. It's just no one would expect it to be extraordinarily egregious. It's very deceptive."

Cons: "I tried to check in online and the first thing I had to do was pay for my carry-on. As soon as I did I had a response that I needed further assistance from a representative and that I had to contact them. When I did, the woman told me that everything was fine. I re-check and told her the message was still showing up. She told me to try on my computer instead because the message didn't appear for her. Oh and before I told someone my problem I was transferred to the operator a couple of times. Finally I pulled out my computer an as soon as I saw the message called back extremely upset and told her that she needed to check with my confirmation number and to please not transfer me to the operator. She confirmed the problem was an error in the billing address. Worst experience for such a small problem. Crew wasn't too happy on the flight, chairs don't recline, no entertainment or drinks. You get what you pay for."
