My 1.5 hr flight was 5.5 hrs delayed. We switched gates twice. We planed and deplaned once. Three total planes, two had “mechanical issues.” None of this even makes sense as the original plane was sitting at the gate since yesterday evening. Then when the second plane was finally brought to the gate from the hangar, it too needed repair. Don’t worry. They gave us a $12 foot voucher. All other flights in the same area of the terminal were hours delayed. It was an actual nightmare. This was after a few hours delay on my first flight a few days ago. And I thought that was bad.

At the Portland airport, Alaska Airlines has put in a system where you have to create your own bag tag, then put your own suitcase onto a scale to weigh it. The day we were there, the system was not working properly, and we kept on being told to go onto different lines so it took us approximately 45 minutes to check our bag in. I do not work for the airlines why am I subjected to doing this? How all these companies are shifting their work onto people who have paid good money for their products is crazy. And then the system that the customers are supposed to use don't work properly..
Spent 30 minutes in tarmac bcoz arrived earlier and crew nit ready for us. Told that the airport is being renovated so limited arrival space. 6 hours flight should have not two snacks but one major meal.
If there were movies it would have made the flight much easier.
I was in the middle seat in the last row but that wasn’t their fault. It is why I rated the flight as mediocre, also the landing was a little rough. The good was really good. The self service luggage belt at SEATAC stopped working right when I reached it. I was literally placing my bag on the small belt when the main belt stopped. I understand that it wasn’t just Alaska but the entire side of the terminal. It took the agents about 20 minutes to arrive at a game plan and it certainly wasn’t flawless but they arranged for our luggage to be taken to the plane the old fashioned way by hand. Understandably, the plane was late in leaving. The flight took the proper amount of time and instead of arriving at OAK at 1:45, we got there at 2:30. I took my time getting to baggage claim because I knew it would be late if it was there at all. Sure enough it wasn’t but there was an agent there to greet me and inform me about my luggage. Long story longer, they delivered my luggage to where I was staying which was an hour away from the airport. Alaska has instituted a delivery type tracking system through my email that kept me informed of where my luggage was the whole time. WELL DONE!!
Flight attendant was rude when I advised her that the bathroom had no paper towels or tissue paper.
Departing flight to San Diego was delayed. Return flight from SD to SBP was delayed. Not terrible but not ideal
I loved that the checking in process was seamlessly easy and user friendly. The crew was very nice and professional. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back of the plane across from the bathroom. There wasn’t much room for leg room and comfortability. Alongside, we had to listen to a baby crying up and down the aisle way for the entire plane ride. The turbulence of the plane landing was rocky. Overall, the experience with Alaska was just okay. We made it home alive so that’s always a positive.
would have been nice for flight to not be delayed by 2 hours so that we had to pay $80 to get home since BART had shut down. i thought a 10pm arrival would leave enough time to account for delays but i was wrong.
One of the best roundtrip flights I’ve ever been on. We needed assistance for my elderly mother and without fail, each and every Alaska team member was helpful, kind, and patient. Will fly Alaska again and again.
Very smooth checking in our luggage with a super pleasant SW agent. I enjoyed a fun entertaining movie.
First time traveling on Southwest since bag fees were implemented. Usual good service. Just more expensive now.
It was a perfect flight in all aspects! Both legs!
Boarding process, crew were good. But the seats were so uncomfortable that was all I could focus on. I literally had to sit forward so that all 3 of us could fit in row. I will try to avoid Southwest in the future for any flights over 60 minutes.
Great flight, 47 passengers on a 180 seat plane. Stewardess was pleasant and cheerful.
Great experience flying Southwest. The crew was really kind and helpful, and very friendly with our toddler.
Plane late from DC to Austin 30 minutes. Crew made up much of the time enroute to San Diego.
Much better than the.last. flight on SW on Thanksgiving day
Fine, but how to board on SW versus othrr airlines, is just lame. Goood staff though and all was solid otherwise.
Was as expected. Crowed planes. Too many carryons delaying takeoff. But the ride only took an hour and saved me a lot of time SFO is a not a great airport.
I loved flying Hawaiian Air! We didn’t pay to sit together, but we were able to anyway. They had usb charging ports and even outlets in some seats. They served a hot sandwich that was not very good, but we were still pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice. The seats really made my booty hurt but maybe I’m just not used to sitting so long. Also, the AC was really cold even though I was wearing pants, a hoodie, and a light blanket.
I was put in a middle seat with the people on either side of me kept passing their grandchild over me and talking back and forth while I was trying to rest or watch a movie. So inconsiderate and totally disturbing. I asked if they would sit next to each other to alleviate the constant impeding my comfort but they refused.
Pre-Flight check-in Staff did a terrific job correcting a seat mis-assignment problem after I checked in the night before my flight. They really stepped up to make my flight home a joy. It was also my birthday, so the flight crew made me feel special a little treat.
Really enjoyed their food treats, staff was friendly and they kept our seats together, check in was excellent, boarding passes uploaded to my wallet! I would definitely recommend Hawaiian airlines to friends and family! 🌺
Cheap food no options for vegans, no entertainment, no snacks. Too much advertisement about their credit card. Next flight will be Delta Airlines.
Great staffing. Terrible food. Please do cold sandwiches or salads. the "hot pickets" are terrible.
This is my first time flying Hawaiian. It was so disorganized and poorly coordinated, resulting in the most unacceptable delay
Plane was delayed due to issues at the airport. Otherwise the experience was good. The staff was nice. The drinks and food were good for economy. The wifi was fast.
Crew was great as always. Food not good. Getting people on and off would be much faster if all bags were checked except small ( fit on lap ) carry on. Dogs on planes need to be only real service dogs. It's getting out of hand !!!!!!!!
1. Was sorry my flight was delayed. 2. On my flight out the cabin crew were very caring:, going the extra mile in many ways. Today's crew got the job done efficiently but it didn't seem like the welcoming Hawaii Air experience. 3. Nice to have in-air food. It was pretty good, not special 4. Assistance at check-in was super. Someone came to help me at the console immediately and set up my pre-boarding status. She was truly kind and helpful.
