Had to go through security at the gate again. Had to take off shoes and go through the whole thing again even though we have global entry. They asked us to check in items bought at duty free during our layover and since we checked our luggage at the original departure airport, they forced us to check in a small backpack. None of this ever happened with other airlines. In addition, no vegetarian food option and no snacks during a 7 hr flight. Luggage limits are unusually small. This is unacceptable. Will NEVER fly Copa again and will tell friends and family to avoid this airline.
We paid extra with copa for seats near one another The plane was changed and we lost our seats We were all Separated. We have not received a refund for our seats despite emailing and calling.
We had a five hour layover in the way home from Colombia. I read the "bout your flight" email carefully before we checked bags. We had to go through security right at the gate. Almost lost our ground coffee because that airport only allows 16 ounce of coffee and we had 18. I've been to 48 countries and never heard of a coffee restriction. I can't follow a rule I don't know about. I requested they bring our coffee to our checked luggage. Instead tey gate checked our bag for free. Back to planning transfers in Dallas I guess

The experience with American Airlines was good, although the Philippines Airlines flight was much better (better seats, better food, better entertainment options, overall better). Again, the MIA to LAX flight was fine, but nothing in comparison to the comfort and accommodations of the Philippines Airlines flight from LAX to MNL.

this plane was really old, had exit row seats and tray was in arm of seat so super uncomfortable to use. another seat they could t even use the tray it was broke. seat i. front of me had duct tape on it cause seat was ripped open... this plane should either be updated or retired.
The flight was two hours late due to a computer fault and resulting maintenance. Nothing was offered as compensation beyond bottles of water during the time we were deplaned and waiting in the terminal.

Four plus hour flight delay in New York caused us to take off after 11:30pm. We didn’t arrive at our hotel until five hours after check in. Started the trip off feeling exhausted.

I don’t usually fly budget airlines or airlines in the United States. It was as good as any other airline. The seats are comfortable and the airline attendants are not rude & surly. Very nice flight (s).

The check in is the only positive thing in Avianca. The seat is the most uncomfortable I have traveled, the distance is minimal.

Late departure. When the flight arrived in Medellin the plane sat at the gate for 20 minutes waiting for a bus for us to get off the plane.
Endless, trip oof my life, we still are in in plane waiting for getting off.after 3 hours delay. Not even a glass of water.
The checkin in laguardia was a disaster, scrambling left and right, it was constantly a trying to sell you something, better seat, constantly selling
It was cheap. Spirit is what it is. I got to my destination and home safely. There was no food or entertainment without paying extra, which is fine. That’s why the flight was inexpensive.

They didn't let me board with a proper boarding pass. I threw away my bags so that I can board and was defined boarding. Had to take the next flight after paying more.
Over SOLD flight. It does not matter that you were able to check in 24 Hours before and confirm your flight. At the airport, the company SPIRIT rep wanted to remove people who pay for lower fares.
My experience with spirit was not good at all! This was actually my first time flying with Spirit and it’s definitely my last, first of all that flight was delayed, plus I had to pay $99 dollars for my carry on, that’s insane I have never pay for my carry on, I’m definitely going keep traveling with JetBlue or American Airlines, you guys have horrible service.

Friendly employees, good seat, on time, Great flight. Pilot and attendants greeted passengers as we deplaned. However, I could not ever understand what the flight attendant was saying on the mic. It was too fast, and too loud.
