The crew took great care of our traveling group especially my elderly mother. I also became a little ill and the crew was very caring. I will fly Spirit again in the future. Plus the pilot was an Aggie!
I loved the service boarding with an elderly parent and all the help received. The pilot was friendly and informative before and during the flight. The flight attendants were very helpful aboard and even took a group shot off our group before take out. Great crew.
The oxygen on the plane was free, I was expecting to pay a dollar per breath. It was also free to pee, don't worry about bringing quarters for the toilet.
They didn't turn on the air conditioning until we got off the ground. They were trying to conserve as much fuel as possible.
The seats are super uncomfortable. They made them as thin as possible and you can't recline them. They probably did this to make the seats light to save fuel.
The tray tables are just large enough for you to put your phone on them. They might be able to hold a $3 can of soda that you can buy on the plane if you want something to drink. They are also very very enjoyable to flip up and down and cause quite a bit noise and vibration for the person in front of you. We got to experience this with two children behind us who did this for the first half of the flight. After which the kids passed out and were woken up by classical music playing on the intercom to which the kids said "this music sucks".
There was a ton of turbulence on the plane. It was like the pilots flew us into a tornado.
Spirit nickel and dimes you for everything! Carry on luggage is $39 each, picking a seat to be with your family is $15 each. There is no free food or drink service, even water is $3!
The chairs on the plane were basically glorified pieces of hard plastic with even less legroom than a united flight somehow.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
