Luggage took 30 minutes to get to pickup and it was covered in vinegar. The snacks on the ride really stink. A little bag of pretzels. Boarding and I boarding took forever
I liked that it was a short flight and that the over-head bins were big enough for my backpack.
I didn't like that my friends, who bought their tickets at the same time I did, with their own cards and checked in at the same time as me, didn't get a seat number. I had one assigned when my ticket printed out, after I checked in at the airport after they did. They had to wait until boarding was almost complete before they were afforded a seat. Seemed really strange. With United already having a bad name from recent stories on the news, it made us worry. Don't like worrying when it has anything to do with an airplane.

American airlines keep increasing their greediness by charging for everything, provide fewer benefits to frequent flyers and have poor customer service They acting like United as if they are a monopoly that can charge what they want and treat customers like they feel like Hoping for small airlines that get a better service and price

American Airlines DISCRIMINATES especially against the elderly! The airlines took my family of 6 off the flight that I booked 6 months in advance, and I had no flight out of Munich, Germany. I do not know why. I called and had them put us back on the flight. I paid extra for seats so that we could all sit together. The seats were given to others and my family could not sit together. The American Airlines employees were not helpful at all! The agent, Rowna, lied to us that we would be sitting together. They will not reimburse me for paying extra for seats that I did not get. The porter that pushed my mother in the wheelchair was more helpful than any employee.

No frills but really good airfare. If traveling on a budget and can live without the basic frills it’s a great deal.
No in flight entertainment, seats don’t recline.
Flight wasn’t bad for what I paid for. One MUST definitely do his/her homework before flying to be prepared for all of the extra costs, etc... I was glad I did and was prepared with my own food, neck pillow, etc. I didn’t expect much in terms of creature comforts and therefore wasn’t disappointed. There isn’t much space in the cabin, so I was glad to have my 6-year old in between us 2 adults. Crew was pleasant r and professional. Ticket agent was helpful if a bit “assertive”. I probably won’t try to book them for long flights, but for short flights their fine

The fair was low and boarding was efficient.
The booking process was terrible online. There’s a charge for refreshments, the tray table is tiny, the staff didn’t seem happy, the seats don’t recline at all, they charge for carry ons, no outlet to charge my device.
