Cons: "MIA is the worst airport with American Airlines. Had to exit and recheck our bags and everything. Led to us misplacing our duty free thru security. Absolutely will not be flying AA again, or visiting MIA."

Even after seeing it said so in the computer system, they refused to honor it. So this time, I gave up and boarded with the last group. No prior warning was given that this plane would not allow for carry on luggage in overhead bins. Further were no charging ports on board, no free WiFi, no adjustable headrests, and the seats did not recline. There were no kosher cookies."

Cons: "I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."

After an hour of sitting on the plane they got everyone off so a different plane could board and take off and then everyone got back on the plane and continued to wait. We left 2.5 hours late and when we arrived at the destination the plane couldn't contact the tower?!?! So we waited another 30 mins...ridiculous, rude, and rather fly southwest"

It's understandable for one plane to have problems, but absurd to have issues again with the second plane. After all this, our flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning, leaving many passengers to sleep in the airport. It was uncomfortable, disappointing, frustrating, and the crew seemed very unsympathetic."

We got boarding group one but by the time all the families with kids, first class, and frequent flyers went ahead of us they called all remaining groups together. Forget about overhead space left over, we had to gate check carry on. Seats were very uncomfortable, no room under the seat because of a big metal box for power outlets. No leg room, sat shoulders and thighs touching with neighbors. No meal service, just drinks and pretzels, luckily we ate before departure. Never again!"

The upright seat position isn't; it's pitched forward, and even when "reclined" perhaps 2 inches, it's no relief. Arrived in Chicago needing an ice pack for my neck and back pain. Also, LAX Terminal is visibly dirty."

Cons: "Honestly, the customer service with United was in need of serious improvement, from the moment we checked our bags to the time we were in flight, we were given very poor service, the man at baggage check in was extremely condescending, acting like we should know everything about United's processing instead of just helping us with our needs in the first place and it added unnecessary extra stress to our travels from Colorado to Hawaii. I don't even want to blame the employees as it was very obvious that they hated their jobs and just wanted the shift to be done with; something needs to be addressed about how they can accommodate both employees and paying customers alike. Let's just say I can't wait until Hawaiian Airlines expands to Denver flights so we never have to deal with United again, as this is the only reason we used this airline."

Then the customer service agents - if you can call them that -- were downright pathetic, absolutely no effort to deal with the crowds of people who needed help. Finally had to call UA while in line and got booked on another connecting flight to a connecting flight :( and they freaking gave me the wrong gate!"

Cons: "I was forced to check my carry on because others were allowed to bring several carry one bags I counted 18 passengers that were allowed to bring 3 carry one bags & a personal item to store under the seat so if you are in the 3rd, 4th or 5tn boarding group there isn't any overhead storage available I paid to check check my other luggage so I would follow the rules others should be made to do the same I worried all the way to New Orleans that my carry would be lost"
