Although Westchester Airport is smaller than others I love the convenience of location. Flight was great…got in about 20 min. ahead of schedule w/minimal turbulence. Only real downside is that none of the tv’s/airline wi-fi worked so unable to watch tv or movies.

Pros: "Our experience leaving tampa to San juan was absolutely perfect! We were starting our honeymoon and as a courtsey, the attendant who checked us in, was absolutely so sweet. She even upgarded us to even more space seats at no extra charge."

The pilot and the attendants saw that we were banging on the door and yet they just stared at us. The plane wasnt detached from the terminal which is why I didnt understand why they couldnt let me in unless they sold my seat. An attendant finally came out by the name of Chanel (the AD Lead). All she did is rebook me for 2 days later and told me that that flight might get cancelled due to the hurricane. She wasn't even trying at all to help me. She had a rude attitude and told me that she will be back to help me. Yeah right! She came back 3 hours later! I could not stand to even look at this unprofessional employee. I paid extra to fly jetblue as I have been told they have great customer service. Pshhhh.... I myself had to call jetblue and spoke to melinda (customer service supervisor) she was trying everything in her power and it really showed. An attendant came and started checking the next flight out of puerto rico to ft. Lauderdale. Melinda put me on stand by for the flight and ecen spoke directly to the Natalie who was checking guests on the flight. Two seats came available for me and my husband to get back to florida. We then rented a car and drove 4 hours back to tampa. I was just completely disgusted on how Chanel handled the whole situation. I told her that I had medical treatments the next morning in tanpa that I could not miss but yet she did not at all seem to care. As a lead I thought she would at least put me on stand by to go to ft. Lauderdale. That wasnt even an option for Chanel. She was completely worthless and had a stupid look on her face when she saw me get on the plane to fy. Lauderdale. Something she could have helped me with instead of saying she would be right back and left me for 3 hours later with no help. Jetblue, I say this in the kindest of ways, please fire chanel. People like that will only cost you guys more in the future as you will loose so much clientel due to the unprofessional conduct and customer service she gave. Hire more Natalie's and Melindas who help you regardless of the situation and not Chanel who didnt care and was a bother to her to put in the same type of customer service that Melinda and Natalie gave me."

First class and crew checked on me once to distribute food but never came back to collect garbage. Found myself getting up to throw away trash because they collected it from everyone around me. Also never came back to ask if I wanted a refill on my drink or if I was content; I was watching a movie so I was awake.

There were some delays due to weather but Delta was able to get me home within an hour of my original itinerary.

Cons: "I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight."

Pros: "I flew first class. Philadelphia airport is horrendous. I chose to fly first class to avoid lines and make flying by my lonesome go more smoothly. There are no special lines for first class there are absolutely no perks to flying first class out of Philly. The first class flight attendant was rude. They ran out of hot food by the time they got to me so I was served yogurt ... I don't eat yogurt. I waited 40 minutes for my luggage to arrive at baggage claim. The flight to Philadelphia from Tampa was a good experience. They had first class lines. The airport was cleaner. The flight attendant Steve, was kind and professional. I was served a hot lunch. I'm a diabetic and when my blood sugar went low he got me orange juice quickly. I waited maybe 10 minutes for luggage at baggage claim. However with the horrific experience in Philadlephia I may never fly American again. Definitely will never fly out of Philadelphia again. I was told by the woman who I sat next to on the way home that she hates American and usually flys Delta for her business trips."

If you plan to fly United and want to watch a movie, plan to bring both types of headsets. ( 1 for smart phones, 1 old school headset). My flight going required the old school headset, except the seat I was in had a broken port and since subtitles were not available, I had to watch my movie without sound(fun!). On the way back, United offered the United app where you can access movies from your smart phone, except I didn’t bring smart head phones. Since I watched a silent movie going, how much worse could it get? Well, it got worse since no movie would even load. The crew explained that we were traveling over water and that was the reason, but I tried on and off for the whole flight and the movie never loaded so that reason sounds like bullshit.

So I got to Denver and waited at the gate until someone told me, “oh no that’s gonna be down in baggage claim” Needless to say, I’m scared to death and I don’t even know where $6000 worth of instruments of mine, is right now. Most traumatic was on the return trip, at the gate as we were removed from our prepaid seats, due to the fact that the ground crew checking us in asked us abruptly weather we could assist in the case of emergency, I replied, "Yes", but my partner was confused and did not understood the question nor the context as to what or why she was being asked! As I tried to explained that she was German and that the question had confused her and didn't primped reply, the crew stope us from boarding the flight, and demanded that our seats be changed for someone who could understand English! We explained that we both understood and spoke English perfectly well... But no one was going to reason with us and quickly removed us from our seats and had us put into the back sectioned which was without extralegal room and proceeded to give our seat out to another couple who volunteered... Without charging extra... It was appalling their behavior and unreasonable gestures towards their customers and at that a Gold member of the Alliance. We will no longer book flights with United no matter what comes, even if we have to fly around the world to get there pay triple etc. It felt a hint of racism and with the state of things, I do hope others take heed in consideration of flying with this airline. On top of what appeared to be a mass exodus, or perhaps something you'd see in a third world country, those people who paid more $$ to have carry on bags, in zone 1 and be able to board first were most certainly not feeling the value. The gate experience was not well organized or orchestrated. After getting off the plane, our daughter realized once in baggage claim that she left her backpack on the plane. Not being experienced in this area, we asked for help. A police officer told my wife to go to Frontier office, where there was no one in the office, someone else said have them paged. There was no white courtesy phone in the area that was operating, so she went to Southwest and asked if they could page someone to come to the Frontier office and they said no, walked to next terminal to find a working courtesy phone, paged someone to Frontier and within 5 minutes ,10 people showed up. Asked if someone could help. They radioed to the gate that a passenger left their bag. What the rep should have said was that they called the gate, hopefully someone locates and if they do, they will bring it here and we will check on it in a few minutes. The person didn't say a word, 5 minutes later my wife asked what happens now. After a nice sigh and eye roll, the Frontier rep says if they found, they bring it. My wife asked would it be possible to see if they found it instead of just waiting around here for bodies to appear. The bag was eventually found and returned but the experience was just now a good one to say the least."

Pros: "Well, first of all I did not go to Vegas...I ended up going to Detroit instead. I purchased the insurance only to find out you almost have to be dead in order to be able to use it. During my flight to Detroit a passenger had been drinking aboard the plane and police had to come aboard the flight to remove the passenger prior to allowing the other passenger to deplane first. We had to watch that entire ordeal while my loved ones waited at baggage claim to pick me up. The food selection wasn't very appetizing. However, some of the flight attendants were friendly...which made the flight bearable. My relatives fly frontier all the time and recommended I use them and I did, but I'm not sure I'll ever fly frontier again."

I spoke to the man at the desk and explained my predicament and he was unable to give information as to whether I should seek another carrier. Ultimately, he said he had 'a good idea' that the flight would be boarding soon, and that I should not go back to the booking area to seek another provider as I might miss this flight. All this was super disconcerting given the gravity of my situation."
Pros: "If it weren't for the convenience of a non-stop flight, I would not fly Frontier. I call the airline "Fleeced Here." They nickel and dime their customers for everything. Seat charge when checking in, carry on bag charge, charge for soft drinks and asking the customer for a 15, 20 or 25% tip for a service that once was part of the flight attendant's job responsibilities. The trip added approximate$ly $150 more to my flight. I will keep that in mind the next time I choose a carrier. My $176 ticket bloomed to $325 before I got home. :("

Cons: "Delayed my 7:25am flight for 5 hours before finally canceling it. Then customer service was such a hassle to deal with in order to reroute the flight. I had to go get my baggage from baggage claim, the phone number I was given wasn't in service, I stood in the line at the front which was packed with other passengers from the flight and gate agents had a hard time because nobody was answering the phone calls. Apparently the only way to rebook is through this phone line, which is absurd. The gate agents should be able to do this from their computers. But you get what you pay for, I suppose. When the agent got through on the call, the guy on the phone claimed another phone number was where we had to call to rebook..it was the customer service number that other customers called and were redirected to the number we were on the current line after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. He argued with us for about 10 more minutes that he couldn't do it...which made me miss my chance to book the next flight out because it filled up in that time span, After running my credit card for almost $500 (fingers crossed a reimbursement actually goes through) I finally got on another flight, which of course, wasn't direct. I finally returned home at 10pm. It was supposed to be a very easy day, under 2 hour flight, that turned into 16 hours. I got a $200 voucher as well as $30 in food, but every plan I had was ruined and I spent the day in an airport. Very disappointed because airlines are so expensive, and I just needed a one-way to get home with one bag and it was a perfect deal. Everyone on that flight had very important reasons to get home and it was awful to see everyone so sad. Also, it's Christmas season...so that $500 everyone most likely lost really affects the holiday spirit. Gotta keep your company running somehow though! All I want to see is the charge for the reimbursement actually come through."

Cons: "First, flight was delayed over 1 hour for non weather reasons. Next, my seat had NO arm rest cushion. It was missing. I asked the flight crew for a pillow or blanket, i was told they don't have any. They did not care about my seat not having an arm rest cushion. Next, no in flight entertainment. Once we landed, had to wait 15 minutes for an open terminal to pull up to. Then i still don't understand this, we all get up to get our overhead suitcases, and then the flight crew gets on the speaker and tells everyone to sit down because they need to get their suitcases first. Guess customers are not important to Frontier. Then lastly, not frontiers fault, but we then had to wait 1.25 hours to get our checked suitcases."
Pros: "The flight was on time. Crew was fine."
Cons: "Charging extra for seat assignments and any and all luggage whether or not it is a carry on or a checked bag is what will make me want to try other airlines before considering Frontier next time. Airplane seats are very uncomfortable and did not have a recline position. It felt like there was less leg room than other airlines I've been on. Sadly, there were a lot of negatives. If Frontier will consider being more comparable to other airlines in terms of charges and comfort, I will consider them equally when booking my next flight."
Cons: "On 4/27/16 Frontier sent a text alert that flight 291 was delayed until 21:40. They never sent a text alert or email to passengers that the flight was cancelled. I was notified by Kayak that the flight was cancelled. When I called Frontier to inquire if the flight was delayed or cancelled I was placed on hold a few times. Eventually the representative stated the flight had been cancelled due to a storm. By this time I arrived at the airport & spoke with Frontier representative who stated the flight was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. Later that night I called Frontier to request an email stating the flight had been cancelled (business reason) & was informed they couldn't do that."
Pros: "Everything ran smoothly and the trip from PHL to TPA was nice and easy."
Cons: "We were running late. It would have been nice to have an announcement. Also I knew about the charge for seats and bags but it would be nice if flyers knew about that up front"

(Guess) tray table to go. You can't put a laptop or anything on the tray table. I am a petite girl and i could not bend over in my seat to try snd get your personsl item... My head would hit the seat in front of me...very uncomfotable flight. Everything was an extra: we paid $35 to check each bag and $40 to carry one on. Pay for drinks on flight. No movie. I will never choose to fly Frontier ever again, unless it's my only option."
Pros: "Considering I almost didn't get a seat in the plane even though I paid for my flight prior to the fly day, there isn't much that I did like. However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. Even the pilot had great communication with us and the flight attendants."
Cons: "Well where should I start. Talk about delay and they wouldn't even up date up on the delays either. When I would walk up to the desk and ask he was too busy to answer any of my questions. I also got there early and I aparntly didn't have a seat on the plane! I was going home to supruze my father for easter and there was no way I could have gone any later. I waited for everyone else to line up and go inside and get their seat because I noticed that my ticket has NN on my seat number and my zone was 99. This is very uncalled for. Considering that I payed an outrageous cost for one damn flight to Illinois in which I know you all do every night! They closed the doors to the hallway to the plane and informed not only myself but 3 others to go to the desk and they would figure out what they could! THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!"

Cons: "Getting checked in, in Denver was unappealing. The person at the check in desk to get our boarding passes was very unfriendly and it was not busy. She was not overwhelmed or anything, just rude. The trays and the seats on the planes were horrible! I have been flying since I was in 3rd grade and I am about to graduate college. The last time I flew with Frontier it was amazing (it was like 2 or three years ago), and this time it was completely horrid. Next time I will pay extra to fly in more comfortable seats...especially when we are flying a red eye."

The kids were out of control the parents nor the flight attendant said anything. The kids were banging on the armrest and the table. BirdTo you, I say you have won over the heart of my best friend. You have won over my heart, and the hearts of all of her friends and family. We’re giving her away to you, know that you’re marrying one of the most wonderful women in the entire world.
