A crew member pulled people for c gate from the line saying it would be faster but when we asked if we should also use the other checkpoint we were told to just stay put. We literally ran as soon as we could and got the door shut also literally in our faces at the gate. We felt a bit let down, seeing later that our timing in the multi lane checkpoint would have undoubtedly been sufficient. The checkpoint we used was funneled into one scanner and we were informed at the customer service counter when we rebooked that that checkpoint was knowingly understaffed. I like flying Alaska but was quite disappointed to be left waiting another four hours after a seven hour layover."

They announced this and said that if anyone was uncomfortable being seated next to someone not in their party (due to COVID concerns) they would book them on the next available flight. At that point, you're really kinda stuck hoping the person your seated next to is taking the proper precautions, but you are not "social distanced" during the flight. I don't consider myself a COVID prude, but I will stick with Southwest Airlines during this pandemic. They are keeping their flights at 2/3 capacity in order to maintain distance among passengers on their flights."

I’d gladly have volunteered if asked, but they didn’t ask. This most recent flight, the beverage service was extremely slow - it took nearly an hour for them to get down to my relocated seat. By then, it was nearly time to land, so I barely had time to finish. I’ve noticed the cups are smaller now as well. I usually fly rather than drive for the holidays, I think I’m done with flying."

Cons: "TSA had no time to help a disabled person, rather abruptly sending me from line to line to line, because I was disqualified from going through walk-through a certain scanner. Then was un-necessarilly angry with me for putting my Kindle on top of my laptop, to go through the scanner. If TSA had given clearer directions, I would have known how to place electronic devices in the plastic tub. Also they took my wallet from me to go through the scanned by itself. As TSA staff pushed belongings down the conveyor, the little dish holding my wallet turned over, credit cards and the like started to fall all over and under the machine. I started to collect my congtents and was told to stay put, and hold out my hands so they could swab my hands for explosives, and to not move while they put the swab in their sensing machine. Makes me want to not fly in the future."

Also, I like that there were charging ports... even if I didn’t use them. And there was plenty of leg room. Lastly, there was a flamboyant crew member who was really nice as well. I liked him a lot."
Cons: "There was this one older stewardess with short blonde hair who had an attitude the whole time. While she was trying to do drink orders a man had spilled his drink so he asked her for a napkin. She rolled her eyes and gave it to him. I was in an isle seat and I got hit in the back with the cart and all she said was “get out of my way I’m coming through” and it actually really hurt. I got bumped by her another three times. And by no other crew member was I hit on my side. Maybe she was just having a bad day..... or maybe she didn’t like her job.... but it definitely showed."

The flight from SEA to PDX was tight with the smaller seats. My husband is a big man and if he had not been sitting next to me and been a man I did not know it would have been VERY uncomfortable. The flight from PDX to ONT was better with the seats but again we had no way to charge our devices and were asked to pay for the WiFi. Really??? In this day when EVERYONE uses them you are going to punish economy??? If you offer WiFi on the big ALaska planes then it should be offered on all of them. Not sure how hard it would be to wire in charge ports but someone should be working on that."

Cons: "Went through the boarding process and then we all waited in the line outside the plane for some time. They obviously were not ready to board the plane which was difficult for some of the elderly now standing in line. I had a planned dinner in sacramento which was a main reason i took this long layover and due to leaving 2 hours late i missed the dinner which had to be canceled. This was very important to me. The 75$ discount given to me on a future flight is not going to replace the time off work and the dinner which will now have to wait for anither trip to the mainland."

Cons: "Flight was delayed from GEG -> PDX Before departure, the pilot announced that the flight would be "very bumpy" and so they weren't going to have drink service at all and the flight attendants would stay seated for the duration of the flight. This made me very nervous for the whole flight. However, it was hardly bumpy at all. I arrived tired from getting all worked up over nothing. On the way back to Spokane, the pilot announced before departure that the takeoff and landing would be bumpy, but once we got up to altitude it would be smooth. The reality was totally the opposite. During takeoff it was quite smooth, but then there was so much turbulence at cruising altitude that the pilot came on to say they were cancelling the beverage service halfway through for safety reasons. And then it smoothed out before landing. I thought it was a bad experience on both counts. Why even bother making a prediction about flight conditions if they are so changeable? It only sets people's expectations and then they are disappointed or unsettled."

Pros: "While flying to Portland from Maui, our next flight was cancelled. No one notified us of this while on the plane or as we exited the plane. My mom found out while I was in the bathroom. She talked to the person at the gate we had just arrived at. She told us we were rerouted to a better flight and told us to go to a specific gate. When we arrived at the gate, Rainy (your employee) explained the situation again calmly, printed our boarding passes, told us we had an hour to catch a bite and worked on seating us together on the plane (I am traveling with a child). When we came back to the gate to board, she had taken care of our seating issue and was very nice. If you are going to cancel a flight on a customer, this is exactly how it should be handled. Better flight, better time, calm and helpful staff. This was the most enjoyable flight of our trip. Nice size plane and great staff. Just maybe need to notify the on board stewardess, she doesn't need to project or yell to be heard for the courtesy of those who have been traveling all night."

I was getting it until the airline assistant decided to have a very loud, very long conversation with a passenger. I could barely hear the passenger, but the employee was speaking as if on stage at an ampitheater! I know where she use to work, how she became a stewardess, how many cities she has worked from, how many days she has off, and again how many cities she has been to, AT VERY LOUD LEVELS!"

We were so immersed in our conversation the trip felt like 5 minutes long. Neither of us were skinny miniies and cramped in those 'child-sized' seats made no difference, we so enjoyed our visit. When disembarking, there was a male attendant who said, and I paraphrase: This plane has exits both in front and in the back, you may choose whichever one you choose, but if exiting from the rear door, please be careful (and in light of our destination, I must caution you to DUCK.' I had to sit in this tiny terminal for over five hours and wait for another flight, which was delayed mind you because, well, a crew member was missing. So we left 20 minutes late! As a disabled veteran, I was truly shocked and completely done with the day when the same crew member showed up so we could boars finally and tells me that I don't look like anything is wrong with me, after reading my wounded warrior project carry on bag. Because them, I had to purchase a same day flight with a diffrent airline company that was twice as expensive. I wish I had a great experience and was writing a positive review like all the others, but i was left with this experience with the company."

Someone finally came out five minutes after the plane was scheduled to leave, only to tell us that we had to wait another 20 minutes or so to board! We ended up waiting almost an hour after the boarding time, most of which we had no idea what what going on. I called up customer assistance, and the assistant was not very helpful, taking a long time to come up with answers, and finalising her answer with LAX "doesn't have a shuttle bus", even though the sign for gate 39 said otherwise. No solution was provided, only that "your flight should be arriving soon". None of this information was provided on the flight status section of the Boutique Air website."

Figured I'd put all that behind me, but then the flight experienced one of the worst turbulences I've been in. We jerked through the skies many times, and the pilots weren't reassuring. Thankfully we landed okay, but not after being late by multiple hours. Also, JetBlue needs to invest in its planes, esp. its Couch section. I felt like a pretzel with on room to breathe."

Cons: "Jet Blue provided 5 sequential delay messages over an hour. Their inability to better estimate departure is disappointing. The real problem is that delay was caused directly by the airline's incompetence. There were no weather issues, the takeoff spots were available. They simply failed to load snacks. Although there WAS a minor prior delay bc a slightly late plane arrival, we eventually were delayed about an extra hour to supply snacks on a 4-hr flight. Given the ground crew had EXTRA time to load and also considering the tiny set of options offered, this is senseless. Further, b/c they ran out of overhead bins, they offered to GATE check my luggage. This was essentially a lie - they put it with checked bags, unlike the gate checked items I watched others retrieve. The combination of these errors led me to arrive at the car rental desk after closure. This caused me to incur a taxi fare, so spend 30 min or so working out an alternative rental the following day, and then yet ANOTHER cab to the Car Desk to get the car. This is the only time in my hundred or so car rentals anything like this has happened. I will certainly think twice (or more) before booking Jet Blue again."

After onboarding we got stuck on the tarmac due to traffic. Flight took off with turbulence to start and finally after 45 mins we got bottles of water. I asked crew if they would come around with more... I was starving and also have the perk of free alcoholic beverages in flight. I was offered neither and we only received chips 1+ hour into the flight. One of our TVs broke and the crew wasn’t helpful in an alternative... Overall worst Jetblue exp I’ve had to date, and I’ve flown with them a lot due to my Mosaic status.."

The kiosk did not recognize my recently issued US passport! Bloody annoying! Only able to print the pass after keying reservation code - yet, again not acceptable! The other, earlier attempts should have recognized me and found my reservation! Very upset with quality of service on the ground!"

First it was waiting for bags. Strange when there's a 2 hour+ delay that all the bags weren't there? Then waiting for paperwork followed by the part they needed was incorrect and a new one was on it's way from the hanger.. Finally departed 1 hour plus later. The plane was an old cattle car. Free TV didn't work right, so at did not recline (no it wasn't an exit row.). Most of the crew and gate attendants were rude and indifferent except for on flight attendant. The entire row of seats didn't recline at all. She was very apologetic and acknowledged it was uncomfortable especially on a 5+hour flight. She did offer us something to eat, blankets earbud. Still my back was killing me upon arrival at Phoenix. JEt Blue. Get your act together. This is unacceptable."

We were suppose to arrive at our destination at twenty minutes after midnight, and instead did not arrive until 2:30 a.m. You felt like the pilot got on the plane when you did with no planning involved on how to get to Austin. I later learned that Jet Blue has the worst on time record of all the airlines. And you got nothing to compensate you for the inconvenience. I am really disappointed in Kayak for not making it known on our ticket that we were flying from New York to Austin on Jet Blue. When buying my tickets on Kayak, it appeared on my itinerary that all my flights were on Iceland Air. It was very confusing to me, as I don't travel very frequently. And airport staff is not very helpful when you are in this situation. Due to all the confusion, I will probably use another airline search tool for my next trip to see if I can lessen the confusion."

Cons: "Didn't like a huge argument taking place between one family which held the flight up by at least 30 minutes. The crew were very patient with this family, but the passengers were not. I think the family should have been removed and asked to take another flight so that my flight could leave on time. It made everyone very nervous because we didn't know to what extent this conflict would escalate, so we had to sit listening to 3 or 4 members of the family arguing and constantly removing passports from luggage and going back and forth in and out of the plane. One member of this family actually entered the cockpit, which unnerved me because of the risks with terrorists these days. The family appeared to be of muslim descent."
Cons: "I was delayed half a dozen times, only to be canceled. Rescheduled on a flight that was scheduled to depart two hours before the original flight. Rescheduled after an hour hold. That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled."

Cons: "We were seated behind a woman who brought a sick cat into the flight. The stench of cat feces was overwhelming. When we addressed it with the staff, they were incredibly rude. I also shared that I had a very significant cat allergy. The staff continued to be incredibly rude, and eventually offered a single seat in the back, which would not accommodate the two of us. The woman next to us also expressed her extreme discomfort and was condescended and disrespected, as well. Shocking, miserable experience."

And you couldn't even turn the damned thing off so it glowed in your face all through the overnight flight. In short, a terribly boring 6.5 hours aloft in terribly uncomfortable seats."

Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

Totally worth it but it made for an even harder time getting in at almost 630am PR time. 3) The turbulence was horrible. We were warned but so many customers were getting sick. Cons: "Flight was delayed over 5 hrs. Not the airline's fault but waited in the help line for over an hr before the agent told me there was no earlier flight I could be placed on - she was incorrect. Pointed out that there was another flight that had also been delayed and therefore hadn't left yet - she agreed, put me on standby. At the gate, the boarding crew did not know what they were doing. The plane was 20% empty but crew made situation very hectic by giving standby passengers seats, taking them away, and then realizing there was actually enough room on the plane. Crew was friendly but incompetent in terms of problem solving."

I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent disappeared for 10 minutes while the plane took off. I then went to go speak to a customer service agent who wouldn't even look at me while I spoke. She actually started listening to and talking with another agent while I was talking to her. Then when I was finished, she started arguing with me until another agent said "he's not worth it." JetBlue just lost my business."

Was receiving alerts beginning from that morning notifying of delays which continued as I waited at the airport that night. This seems to happen frequently and nothing is ever done to make it up to travelers. On the plane, the audio for the tv had static so you couldn't actually hear anything. It doesn't seem like you can turn the tvs off, which is annoying as they emit light, so if you want to sleep you have to deal with the light from your tv."

I hate when they leave you in the dark and aren't upfront. The connection from Emirates to JetBlue we had was almost impossible. Two healthy adults, arriving on time in NYC with two hours to make a connection. With walking as fast as possible and not even going to the bathroom, we barely made the flight. Customs. Change terminals. Go through security again. ridiculous."

Cons: "The seats, even the upgraded ones, didn't recline sufficiently to let my head drop back. This meant that for a period of four plus hours, I was stuck in an incredibly uncomfortable sitting position -- tilted slightly forward, via the placement of my head. And it also meant that the only way to try to sleep was by pitching forward over the tray, hunched forward in a way that didn't allow me to breathe fully. I tried slouching down, and it didn't help. The way that the lumbar was positioned also pushed me forward. The pillows were too small to lift my head much off the tray. Perhaps it's my height and weight. If I was shorter or taller or thinner, my options might have increased. Regardless, if the airlines are going to squish us together, they might consider how to give us some flexibility with regards to placement of back rests, like we have in cars -- adjustment of lumbar curve."

Pros: "The first thing Jet Blue needs to do is to promptly update the monitors to reflect the status when the flight is delayed. The scheduled departure for the flight from JFK to Austin was 9:06 pm. It was past 8:45 pm and there was no airplane at the gate - At this point it was clear to me that we were definitely going to be delayed. Finally there was an announcement about the incoming flight from Syracuse being delayed causing the austin flight to be delayed. As far as I can remember, the monitors never reflected the delayed status. My assessment is this flight was delayed by 30 mins or so which may not be much if this is the only trip you are taking but definitely matters to someone who has been on a flight for 17 hrs and is just desperate to get home for some well needed rest. I give good rating for boarding and comfort as boarding was quick and suprisingly comfortable for economy seat. I give NA for crew, food and entertainment primarily because I was asleep the entire flight and did not interact with any of the flight crew."
Cons: "When checking into JetBlue, I had to remind the staff to do everything. They gave me my fight ticket without issuing me a Visa when I clearly needed it. I had to remind the staff and they said "oh, right. I forgot about that" Then I had to request for a luggage tag for carry on as they forgot that as well. Finally when I got to the gate, I booked 2 tickets together which had seats assigned and was given a different seat separating the 2 reservations putting one in the middle seat! when both was already assigned aisle. This was not a smooth transaction at all."

I booked a full fair, business class ticket for international flight, and I can tell you, Jet Blue had no business in this itinerary!!!! I completely understand the value of Jet Blue as a cost conscious airline, but on the flights I was on, they only had ONE CLASS OF TICKET! They may tell you differently, but after being on international flights for over 10 hours, I was stuck in a middle seat! And it took me a lot of talking to even get them to admit i deserved anything other than the last row in the plane."
Cons: "The flight was delayed which was going to make me late for my next two connecting flights. They sent me on an airline that had me show up at my destination 36 hours later. Wasted money on my hotel room and activities I had paid for for the first day. Even though I had spoken extensively to the lady helping me about my luggage, it took my bag 5 days to get to me. So instead of enjoying my vacation I was having to spend time in the mall in a foreign country trying to find clothes for each occasion. It also cost a lot of money to repurchase all of these items. I will never support this airline again."

No instructions regarding white vs pink gate-check tags, gate checking considered only last-minute by the flight crew (once space was already completely filled) which meant 1 couple complained a lot about being forced to gate-check purely due to boarding order, instead of better communicating the need for gate-checking/pushing it earlier to find more voluntary people. I listened to the gate announcement, got a gate check tag & even then the flight attendant had no idea that was going to be necessary, which is absurd with a completely full flight & such tiny overhead bins."

We were stalled waiting to take off for 1 1/2 to 2 hours which is tough when you have small children and it's nearing their bedtime (8 PM). In the row in front of us was another family with a small girl who was uncontrollable. It was not pleasant having items thrown at us, screaming, howling, and talking loudly. Again, we have two small children of our own and I was upset that the parents didn't better control their younger child. Reception for some TV stations stalled for hours at a time; i.e., NBC during a live airing of the Olympics."

We were supposed to depart at 10:10p and arrive 11:17p (short flight) but ended up departing 11:50p and arriving 1:15a. The airlines, despite their "Customer Bill of Rights" should acknowledge how bad the service is and refund us part of the flight cost. Unfortunately this also happened 7 months ago, which was understandable due to the holidays. We will not be flying Jet Blue ever again. If they don't want to give us the partial refund, then we'll just go our separate ways. Horrible. Just horrible."

Cons: "While my experience with Virgin Australia was good, I will not book with them due to the co-share with Delta Airlines. I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."

Cons: "Firstly check in was a nightmare, travelling on a Virgin Australia Flight from LAX - BNE and a connecting flight BNE - PPP (Proserpine) all with Virgin Australia, and they claim they don't have the ability to tag your luggage the whole way through??? (I understand I have to collect it on arrival into another country and then take to a bag drop) but with the same airline they claim they can't do this? I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. We tried then at check in and told they have no idea how to do this as only so many seats are allocated to Delta tickets and they can't access the Delta system?? So very frustrating and we could never upgrade?"

The screen did not seem receptive to the human finger and often the menu lines were small and very close together, leading to the incorrect item being selected. Finally I gave up and was just trying to put on "my flight", but it just made me take survey after survey, instead of allowing me access to "my flight" information."
Pros: "On my last 4 trips in 6 mos I've flown United, Delta, and Hawaiian, to Cancun Mexico on United Aug 2015' , to Puerto Vallarta on Delta December 2015, Hawaiian to Honolulu December 2015, and Again on Delta to Honolulu Feb 2015. This was totally unacceptable, I was told I didn't select a seat on the seat selection screen and that I was now on standby. I specifically remember the seat selection screen being extremely misleading and thought that I had selected seats when in fact I didn't according to Delta. Maybe instead of focusing your website on getting customers to upgrade their seats you should focus on getting them a seat first. Secondly make sure tickets can't be purchased unless a seat is assigned first. Who would want to buy standby tickets 3 months in advance? I'm guessing not many people."

Cons: "When boarding I had no sets assignment which I never enjoy. It was 5 minutes to boarding, I still didn't have a ticket and the agent was quite rude when I inquired. In fact, for the majority of the time before and even during boarding he was laughing it up and chatting with ticket agents at a neighboring gate. Then I did board, the ticket was not clear what my boarding group was so I missed out on boarding early. When i get to my seat I have two people completely unwilling to move to let me into my window seat, but are all too eager to tell me to be sure not to hit them. This flight was after a long layover and after a long flight from japan and was a horrible end to an otherwise beautiful trip."

Cons: "I arrived for my layover early, and noticed there was another flight currently boarding for my destination. I asked the boarding attendant if I could just get on this flight rather than waiting 2 1/2 hours for the next one. She said there were open seats on this flight but it would be a $50 fee to switch. This makes NO SENSE! I was standing there with a ticket purchased for the exact same itinerary, ready to board this flight with open seats, and I would have to pay extra? When this switch would open up a seat for the later flight for someone else in the same situation? Just a ridiculous way to charge people extra money for nothing. Very dissapoibted in Delta for this."

It seems rediculous we would rather cram in an extra 1-2 rows to maximize profits instead of charging an extra 5-20 dollars per seat. There is never enough leg room. Last there was no entertainment onboard. In a day and age where s flat screen costs 100 spats I'm suprised is not standard on every flight."

The in air entertainment that is customary with delta also did not work. It was by far one of the worst flying experiences o my life andonl had to wait in the airport for twelve hours until my next opportunity to get to my destination. And they didn't offer any food accommodations during my wait. All in all a 6 hour flight took 24 hours."

We spent two hours with them and on the phone trying to work out different options to get home sooner, when they brought the flight back again, cancelled it again and then eventually brought it back. The customer service agent on the phone said the flight was on, while the agent on the ground said it was cancelled. They were all confused. Caused an unnecessary amount of stress and work. Would make me think twice about ever flying with American again"

Cons: "To many technical issues with this airline , everytime for the last 2 years there's a mechanical problem or issue with a plane blocking runway . Honestly I've never been on time with an American Airlines flight . I could have taken a bus and gotten to my destination faster, communication is poor , had to walk from terminal 4 to 6 because they have gates at both but didn't post the correct terminal to my ticket , so I walked from 4 to 6 ... Then the delay made me walk back to 4 because of a gate change . Then we waited on the plane for another half hour . All in all its not really the staff but more so the actual operation of the airline that I'm not willing to work with anymore ."

American's gates/terminals at LAX are also a pain--you never know if your flight will depart from the hinterlands of Tom Bradley terminal, or Terminal 4 or 6, which can mess you up with parking/security screening/scheduling. I will try to avoid flying American in the future. I didn't get any vouchers for the cancellation, either. BD"

Cons: "My flight to SFO was delayed so it made me miss my next flight. I ran trying to make it to that gate with a 20 pound backpack on my back, couldn't stop coughing for the rest of the trip after that. American Airlines staff told me that I can pay $75 dollars extra to secure a seat for the next flight 6 hours away. I told them I am not paying anymore because it wasn't my fault I missed this flight. Then, they lost my suitcase so they took 30 minutes to find it. I tried boarding with the priority pass members because my new ticket they gave me was for priority and one of the American Airlines staff members kept getting in my face until I was at the back of the line because I was in boarding group 4. I just never have been treated so poorly before my any airline. I travel often so I will never take American Airlines again. The final straw was another delay at my last layover in PHL, which made me and up traveling for a total of 21 hours."

Then we get there by said time and they said she missed her flight. Keep in mind I have a one hour each way drive to lax. Came the next day 3 hours early to stay in the line 3.5 hours and the line was short! They let people cut us left and right and the staff was rude on the phone and there. I lost ANOTHER work day dealing with them. They said she was on standby for next flight 3 hours later only to get to the gate and they said they NEVER EVEN PUT HER ON THE LIST. then she got put on the next flight 3 hours later to get told it was a full flight and so she waited another 3 hour flight and finally got on... on top of the stress I went through, the work I missed out on, the drive and gas it took to get there, her first day of her Job was the next day after that mayhem! It was absolute chaos. I can honestly say I hate that American airlines and I don't think it's right. The person next to us also had a horrible experience with them in the line next to us. She missed her best friends wedding due to three disorganization and horrible service.... SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BRIDESMAID!!! I wrote the company.... but I expect no return or respect from them if I can't even get that from their condescending customer service "manager" ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!"
Cons: "I couldn't check in online. The numbers I was given did not work. My seat was given up. So either the flight was overbooked or when I checked in the woman was wrong. When I had to be put on the next flight I had to ask numerous times the reason my seat was given away and given 4 different answers and asked the woman nicely to not roll her eyes at me. So kayak and American Airlines are never going to get my money again. I'll stay with delta. Explaining what happened to your costumer service was a nightmare. When all I wanted was a straight answer."

Will never fly with American after their abysmal attempt to keep us safe. I did not feel safe for a second on that horrendous flight. Definitely getting a COVID test and I will know where I got it from if I test positive. Also the seats are uncomfortable and it was a very bumpy flight (I understand that part cannot be avoided). I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life"
Cons: "The flight was 2 hours delayed because there was a mechanical issue on the plane. We sat and waited on the plane for 1 hour while the Maintenance crew tried fixing the problem. After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."
Cons: "When I arrived to check in at 5:48am for my 6:20am flight, I was treated very poorly. The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

After the passengers got off the plane, the man at the counter came on the P.A and said it’ll be a few minutes, they’re catering the plane now from the back to the front. The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed."

On board WiFi can be used to access movies and other entertainment on the your own device but make sure your battery is charged and you have an external battery also since the seats don't have power. I tried to sleep but it is not easy for me to fall sleep when the seat back reclines only 3 inches so I didn't have luck taking a nap. Conclusion: I am not taking this flight any more. I will go back to taking will switch back to flying Delta even though there are no direct flights."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

Cons: "the remodel at LAX is a mess but the shuttles are nice, just be prepared if you have to shuttle to another terminal. Also check food, I went from gate 50A and had to shuttle to 52A and that area only has one area to get something to eat and its just sandwich, and not a lot of choices."
