They were also really good at communicating updates like changes to the gate."

Be cooperative and honest and you shouldn't have any problems."

Firstly, I wasn't assigned a seat when I booked the flight. Then, at the time I checked in, as no regularly priced seat was reserved for me, I was forced to pay for a premium seat, for both the outbound and inbound segments. Secondly, no snacks were offered on the outbound flight, because "the ground crew forgot to supply the plane". This didn't bother me, but it did infuriate some of the other passengers. Finally, I paid for the GoGo inflight internet, but the download speed was sooooo slow, I finally gave up."

Also leg room is getting reduced to 28 inches. I'm 5"11 and cramped. How is JetBlue better than American? How much will these airlines continue to bend us over. I didn't even take the screaming infant into account.... since it's not AA's fault for letting that baby on board."

He said we could shift weight and weigh on scale in lobbey. When we returned the bag was still over weight and the fee would be $100.00. We weighed the bags on the one scale at a different scale at the counter and all the bags were alright. The one scale at the counter was not calibrated correctly.It is no fun sitting in a room full of people shifting your clothes around for no reason. We wer e charged for an upgrade to first class then we were told there was no room. We are still seeing a charge on our credit card. $398.00"

Cons: "On checking in we had to use a machine to print our boarding passes and take our bags to a bag drop in Newark. The man proceeded to put a large tray on the conveyor belt, swing our bags in the air then smash them down into the tray. This was done to both bags as if we weren't there. Had there been something expensive in there it would have been totally destroyed. He really couldn't have cared less about our bags and their contents. We were talking to a woman on the plane who was telling us that a woman a few rows behind who had a new born baby as was told she would be given a seat with extra legroom had this taken away from her to United could sell the seat to someone paying for it. The chicken and orzo dinner was absolutely revolting. The orzo was so over cooked that it just turned to mush and the chicken really didn't taste like it had ever seen a chicken. All this combined with the issues we had on our flight out show that United are scum and just see you as ££. Sorry I cant be more complementary than that, its just the truth."
