Cons: The crew at check in was really inconsiderate and has given us false information! Despite of what documents were required and submitted I was not allowed to board the plane.

Pros: B777 Dreamliner is dreamy. Lots of overhead luggage space. Decent leg room (could always be more). Great individual entertainment screen for long transcontinental flights. Flight staff was a mixed international crew, very friendly, unpretentious, polite and just nice compared to other airlines. The planes they use seem very new. Would definitely recommend Qatar Air over Aeroflot any day.
Cons: Food was decent for airline food but nothing to rave about and as with most airlines uses too much plastic packaging. Although I was pleased that some of the flights used metal flatware, but still too much waste in the industry in my opinion. Also, the headphone jack was not compatible with my headphones. The type used on the 777 is the dual pronged one. I did not have an adapter so had to use the crappy headphones that are provided.

Pros: My flight from Chicago to Doha was late to come in and there was a gate agent waiting for us and two other passengers with a sign when we got off the plane. He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!

Cons: After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight.

Cons: The gate agent at JFK was annoying. She forced us to check carry on bags for no apparent reason. Much larger carry on’s were allowed both before and after us. Her fellow agent seemed like she wanted to apologize for her capricious behavior, but was understandably hesitant to do so. The airplane seating was cramped and uncomfortable. The rntertainment choices were very limited unless you enjoy superhero movies or a very limited range of audio/musical selections. So it goes in coach class.

Cons: My daughter was booked on this itinerary and was finishing her last leg of journey. Complete ticket was booked thru Delta Airlines. Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Who is going to bear the loss of money and mental torture that your team has given to me and my daughter???? Pros: I paid 60 bucks for an emergency row exit, take get some extra leg room and space so that I would be fresh when I arrived in Munich. However KLM allowed a passenger — who did not pay for the emergency row to sit next to me because he needed the extra space because he was a liarge man, and clearly didn’t fit very well in the economy seats. Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well.
Cons: I did not get a choice of seat for the one and a half hour flight from Amsterdam to Munich and I sat in a middle row for the first time in 20 years.

Cons: It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this.

Pros: The flight crew was friendly and personable. Beverage service was consistent and efficient. Entertainment and free WiFi messaging were great perks.
Cons: The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration.

Cons: Flight left late. When we landed the sky bridge was broken so we had to walk outside, which isn't a big deal but it took a while sitting on the runway for the stairs to come. Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to.

Pros: Boarding was very organized and quick. Slight delay taking off but not bad for JFK. Lovely crew. Bumpy flight but the captain kept us informed. Food better than expected. Flight arrived early but no gate so we had to wait.
Cons: OMG! The seats are obnoxiously close together. I could only sit perfectly upright and even then my knees were pressed tightly against the seat in front of me. I am only 5'7". Impossible to rest due to lack of space. I tried to put my head down on my tray table but couldn't since it hit the seat in front of me. Mid flight my 13 year old daughter got back spasms. Upon arrival we could barely walk and looked like two old women limping down the jetway. No idea how a tall or larger person could have even sat down.

Cons: That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!

Cons: The flight was delayed due to aircraft issues making us 2 hours late for vacation. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY! I literally put blood, sweat and many many tears into this trip. The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach.

Cons: I didn't like that I had to take a bus to my terminal. I didn't like the fact that my gate was changed more than five times. I didn't like that my flight time was changed more than 15 times with no reason why until boarding time. I didn't like the fact that I did not get a seat assignment until boarding the plane. I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country.

Cons: The WORST experience of my life. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again.

Cons: We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence.

Pros: The New York operation seemed much better. Our flight arrived late and was met by airline representatives looking to help passengers with tight connections. Arriving transfer passengers must go through Turkish airport security. Turkish security did set up an operation right at the gate. This both expedited things and relieved the stress of going through the process far from the gate.
Cons: Seat was very uncomfortable. The plane was an older Boeing 777 (it had no winglets) and I think the seat cushion was the original one. Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information.

When I called the ticketing office, they explained that everything was fine with the ticket, and I would indeed have a seat, but I would have to go to the airport. I even asked them about the possibility of overbooking but they said that wasn't a risk. (I am Star Gold so I didn't think that was possible.) When at the airport they wouldn't give me a seat and they bumped me leading to many hours of confusion, a connection through Tanzania, and a loss of a night of sleep. And lots of stress. I know they de-prioritized the people who booked on Kayak. This was a miserable experience and unless you do something to fix this I will never use Kayak again.

Cons: I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it.

Pros: Due to the breakdown in diplomatic relations between the United States and Turkey, we were not able to secure non-immigrant visas to enter Turkey, so we had to cancel our plans to Istanbul. It is a bit of a comfort to note that Turkish Airlines seems likely to refund us the price of our tickets. I appreciate it, because I don't think they are legally obligated, though it is the ethical thing to do.
Cons: However, even getting our money back on the airline tickets won't reverse the disappointment of going through all of the effort and coordination to plan the trip. I intended to take my nephew to Istanbul, a city I've never been to and always pined to visit, and had encouraged a local friend whose son, close in age to my nephew, is studying music in Istanbul at this time. My nephew is studying in Valencia, and we thought it would be a really fun and memorable experience for them to meet, and maybe they would have decided to do some traveling together in the future or my friend's son could have visited my nephew in Valencia at some point this school year. All these plans went down the drain when we couldn't get visas. We are having to content ourselves with southern Spain instead.

Pros: Our Turkish Airlines flight was late boarding and passengers were upset about not being able to make their connecting flights. The crew handled it well, but anxiety was high. The food is always good and one of the reason I fly Turkish Airlines on a regular basis.
Cons: Passport Control at Ataturk International was a nightmare with hundreds of people ahead of us in the queue. No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing.

Pros: We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again.

Then our new flight with a later time to Bremen was cancelled 20 minutes prior to boarding with no more flights to this area. The service center helped us redirect another flight to Hamburg, Germany. We had to fly to Vienna and then to Hamburg. We made it to Vienna after a 40 minute delay however, this delay caused us to miss our connecting flight once again. We were placed on an early flight the next morning to Hamburg which was an easy flight. When we got to luggage in Hamburg we noticed our luggage was missing. Supposably still in Munich. We then missed this flight and missed out on valuable time with friends who live in Germany.

Terrible customer service, the bag was missing for four days causing us to spend time shopping for clothes rather than experiencing the city.

Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based.

I travel with a musical instrument and some airlines want to check it and some even insist on checking it, even though there is always plenty of room. This was a completely full flight and no one even mentioned the possibility of checking it; they put me in an early boarding line and put it in a closet. The way they handle this for myself and the other passenger with an instrument made our day, as well as making boarding smoother forbus and everyone else. Really excellent job on that!

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food.

Cons: At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!

Cons: The bags where damaged from the staff

Pros: Everything was good. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The plane was comfortable, with great entertainment on the personal screens. The food was delicious. Flight was on time and actually arrived early, but then we had to wait for a gate (not the airline's fault).
Cons: No complaints at all.

Pros: Crew was friendly, and the food was better than the usual KLM fare.
Cons: The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room.

Cons: Flight delayed, had to take two more flights and was a four hour trip turned into a 12 hour, 4 countries trip

Pros: Flight unpleasant. Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues.
Cons: Carry on baggage issues and storage on plane. One aloof and unhelpful member of flight crew.

Pros: Special treat for King's Day Friendly crew
Cons: 15 min late boarding 30 min delay leaving the gate Very little leg room

Pros: It was very comfortable
