Pros: The seat was comfortable, the food was delicious and the aircraft was clean.
Cons: Boarding was awful. The staff definitely need better training at adapting with the Covid 19 situation. Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore.

Cons: American airlines, No entartainment, no hi hello from the crew, no food, not even water... Funny guys, why the have flight people inside the plane :) domestic airlines are always joke compared to the world domestic or overseas....

Pros: At least it was delayed so we could make it to SFO.
Cons: The American Airlines flight was delayed so the delayed flight from Honolulu could make it to Los Angeles and not subject AA to additional complaints. We arrived at close to midnight and worried about getting the car out of the parking lot without incurring additional charges of and additional day. The food was not great.

Pros: The flight attendants were very attentive and polite, seats are some of the most comfortable of any airline I've flown (particularly compared to the US domestics), entertainment is solid (although the English movie selection was not that large), and we were regularly offered food and drink if we were awake. I would definitely recommend JAL to others.

Pros: The stewardess of the flight from LA to Osaka was awesome , I don't remember her exactly name , I think she is older then other crew members working that day on economy class . She was very professional , serving customer with the best she can. Always smiles. I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines.

Pros: Seats are extremely comfortable even in economy. Service was attentive and very gracious. Both meals were above average for airline food. Made a 12 hour flight seem much shorter!

Pros: All fright attendant are so nice and polite, also pretty. The meals are great and they served nice ice cream for dessert, the good quality ones! The bathroom was always clean, they keep it up so well. there was even toothbrushes and paper cup! I really enjoyed it even though I was in economy.

Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. Pros: From start to finish, we were amazed by the customer service of Japan Airlines. Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service.

Pros: Everything was good, solid across the board. Nothing to not like. I especially liked the legroom in economy. Probably the best legroom I"ve had in economy.

Pros: What sets JAL apart is the quality of service both on the ground and in the air. As customers, even in economy, no request was too minor to be treated as the most important of the day. Both legs were on time, the meals were excellent, and the chouce of movies was more than adequate. I will fly with JAL again.

Pros: the crew was extraordinarily helpful in getting me through customs with my luggage which i was lead to believe did not need to be looked at in Tokyo because it was checked through to Osaka by finding me taking me back through customs and onto the flight in time for its departure. JAL's crews on both flights and the ground personnel were very courteous and always extremely helpful.

Yeah my flight was delay by 3 hours for reasons out of their control and I missed my connecting flight but they completely made up for it. The food and drinks were really good along with the service. Plus they booked me on another flight along with a hotel for the night. Awesome service and experience, I would travel with them again.

Cons: Our flight was delayed from Los Angeles and we did not make our connecting flight in Tokyo. The next option they had was a full 24 hours later so we ended up taking the train. I tried to make adjustments to one of my flights for the return home and was told that is not an option.

Cons: My seat was horrible. I'm sure it was like that for everyone in economy. The seat can't recline putting me in an awkward position for the entire flight. It was a red-eye so I didn't sleep much. Maybe it was the airplane since I flew with ANA last year but with the 787. The difference is almost night and day.

Pros: The plane was new enough and clean, the food was modest but good, snacks were generous and tasty, but what sets ANA apart is the attentiveness, courtesy, and thoughtfulness of the crew. I used to fly Singapore Airlines often and felt this way about them, but in recent years I’ve noticed a fall off in service. ANA has maintained or even raised their standards of service.

They spoke great English and ensured me and my husband sat together during our 15 hr flight to Vietnam.! They had so many options on new movies and music that helped pass the time. The food was very tasty as well as there snacks and drinks! The entire staff were helpful and appeared to enjoy their jobs. I will always fly with ANA when returning to ASIA.

Cons: When we arrived to SFO the flight was delayed for mechanical issues. When they couldn't fix the plane they had to fly another one from the Island to get us. This resulted in over a 14 hour delay and ruining our plans for our first day. The wing in SFO was all under construction so if you wanted to get anything you had to leave security and go back through it over and over.

Moments later, the same crew member was passing out water bottles to other passengers. There’s much more to say about our flight, but if theses two instances don’t prompt a change, then the rest won’t matter anyway.

I had no seat assigned and was told I would be seated after all families were taken care of. I waited and waited and finally when everyone was boarded, I checked one last time because I was the only person left in the waiting area and the gate agent totally forgot about me. So she assigned me to a seat that had a wall in front of it and no storage space in the seat in front of me. I was livid. Thankfully I didn’t have to check the instrument but the hassle was a nightmare I really wanted to avoid.

Pros: Let me think, food was free. Some of the staff was friendly. Glad was the flight was quick, because I don't think I could deal with that staff anymore than the few interactions I had with them.
Cons: Lets start with the boarding process. Its not organized and just a huge mess. This zone boarding thing is very old school and no where is there a screen saying which zone is boarding, you have to listen for the quiet announcement and hope you heard it correctly, because they only say it once. When on board, the staff I dealt with was having a bad day or something, because slamming drinks down on tray tables and cups in to a half full cup must be the norm. The passenger next to me mentioned that the staff was very rude to me, as I was pretty passive at the time. The seats are somewhat comfortable, but when the staff tells you not to lean back because the lady behind you doesn't have enough leg room, then whats the point of paying for comfort plus. The food may be free, but if you want some sort of entertainment, TV shows or movies, it isn't free. Everything must be paid for on this flight. You pay a pretty penny to get on these flights only for them to up-sell you on everything! This airline needs some major changes to staff and technology.

Pros: Flight was delayed 12 hours due to airplane maintenance which disrupted car rental and lodging plans. Hawaiian Airlines made everything right by providing lodging, food and travel voucher. Will definitely travel with them again.

She offered her help in anything and I thought that was super sweet, then she said.. I wont forget this time. Nice touch

Cons: The original 9/23 9:05 am flight from SF to Honolulu was cancelled. The airline staff did not say a word why the flight was cancelled, but they were kindly enough to put me on a United Airline flight at 1:15pm on the same day. But the UA flight got delayed and delayed, I didn't get on the airplane until 5pm on 9/23. This was such a terrible experience, I wasted 9 hours at the airport and had to cancel so many activities I have planned on 9/23.

And her eye contact was very aggressive as if she would use words. I tried to save the moment, and avoided all further interactions. Not even to look at her, or accept even a single glass of water. She did past through my area and again she was stocked with her cart, and she thought is was my foot again. When she realized that this time was not my foot, (which in the first time it was and she kicked my knee with the speed of her movement and I was not aware to save the moment) nevertheless, the second time and for the rest of my trip I was so careful that it did not happen again. But it happened one more time, but not with my foot. although she thought it was me. She looked at me again with a very bitter-eye but when she realized that the problem was not me she looked at another way acting as if she didnot understand what was going through her mind or my mind.
Cons: The attidute is what I try not to get involved. I am on the air, traveling, and I don't like to experience any negative feelings from no one. I am consciously aware not to give any reasons for any form of unacceptable behaviors either with or without evidence. I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN, travel with LUFTHANSA just because of the way they treated me in my case which I travel always with my emotional pet, and this time they gave me a hardship and I had to travel without Logan. and additionally to this, I had to accept that flight attendance wordless aggressive behavior. Which in my opinion, I believe she could say I am sorry, and not looking at me as her worse enemy. Madness. She honestly needs a psychological evaluation.

I had to stand in line as a standby, and then was assigned a seat that didn't recline at all -- not the best for an overnight flight, and having planned, checked in and gotten a seat, IOW done what I was supposed to, it wasn't a nice way to be treated.

Cons: Things I don't like: 1. My seat was the 1st-row aisle seat. OMG, the seat is extremely small, my legs were very very uncomfortable. I would rather sit another regular seat instead of the 1st-row aisle seat. Usually, I sleep on the plane during whole flight, but this time I could not sleep at all. 2. There was a curtain which separates the business class and economic class. As the 1st point, my seat was the 1st-row aisle seat, so the curtain hit me every time the crew went through the curtain, which is extremely annoying. 3. The Entertainment screen is so difficult to use, either hard to touch or so slow.

The crew at the gate was unhelpful making entire experience more streafull than necessary without clear rules how the seats will be assigned (whether we should wait in line or they will call us by names). The flight was 2h delayed in NYC because of the mess at the gate coating me a missed connection to Denmark (not that it was necessary have Lufthansa put any effort in speeding up.my transfer like pick up at the gate, gate information before I left aircraft or even as I approached a desk I. Frankfurt as the conneecting flight was late too). On top of that mess I have not gotten my speciality meal and eintertaiment system was malfunctioning the entire flight. Crew could not be bothered with bringing over water and didn't exactly respond to call button.

Cons: My son Adam is in Mekele Ethiopia having flown most of his journey with Lufthansa. For two days now, his luggage with his nebulizer and asthma medications has gone missing and not ONE person at Lufthansa is willing to help on their end. Since his last leg was with Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa is unwilling to help in any fashion or form in helping to track the luggage that flew with them over two flights. They DENY they have any responsibility to help because it's not their "policy." They wouldn't even look into their computers to see where the luggage was last seen. I am so angry that "policy" is more important to Lufthansa than actual human caring about their passengers.

When I called to get it fixed I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I got through. Once we got on original flight they gave away seats we paid extra for and gave us no refund.

Pros: I was very satisfied by the flights by Finnair - kind personnel, good food, on time flights.

Pros: I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for.
Cons: As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good.

Cons: Our flight from Chicago to Paris was managed by Finnair, but flown through American Airlines. This was the second disappointing flight on American Airlines. Our first flight was repeatedly delayed over three hours and then canceled. Everyone had to take a new flight the next day on the same plane which was scheduled to be fixed that morning prior to departure. We boarded the plane 45 minutes late and then were informed that the part needed to fix the plan had just cleared customs. After another hour of waiting on the plane, we taxied to the runway and the returned to the gate because another part needed to be fixed on the plane. We waited another hour and a half on the plane before finally taking off. Upon our arrival at Chicago O'Hare, we waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes before the ground crew parked our plane. Which brings me to this flight from Chicago O'Hare to Charles de Gaulle in Paris. Our flight was delayed for maintenance repeatedly for 2 hours and then a new plane had to be brought over. By the time we boarded we were almost four hours behind schedule due to a logbook problem once we boarded the new plane. The plane itself was small - the size of a domestic flight - and VERY cramped. On both of the flights we had no TVs in the headrest. This is something that I have always had in economy class on international flights. It was by far the most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. Because of the delay, we had to reschedule one of our two connecting flights. I was assured that our bags would still arrive at our final destination. When we finally reached our final destination, we found out that our bags had been lost along the way - most likely because of the flight being rescheduled.

Cons: International flight delayed 2 hours for multiple mechanical issues. 45 minutes before boarding, we were given a $20 voucher for food and drink (which we couldn't spend on snacks, just big meals, which was undesirable so late at night). Flight itself played Mission Impossible 4, then a kid's cartoon, then nothing the remaining 5 hours. Very uncomfortable for those who can't sleep on planes.

Cons: I thought that I got one bag checked for free and another one would cost $50. But when I got my boarding pass I was charged $100.

Cons: The passengers next to me smelled severely of body odor. I know that this isn't something the flight crew can do anything about but it made my flight really uncomfortable. Thankfully the seat next to me opened. So I loved a seat away- but even that couldn't mask the smell!

Pros: Good food - two meals at just the right time.
Cons: I regularly fly between Chicago and London and dread having to get on AA90. The planes are ridiculously old with barely any legroom and no seat-back entertainment. On this occasion, my friend sitting next to me, who is 5'10" had his knees right up against the seat in front. When the passengers in front reclined it was almost impossible to get comfortable. There is no seat-back entertainment. For some this may not be a big deal, what with iPads and other devices, but it speaks to AA's failure to consider it's customers comfort and ease on long-haul flights.

Pros: I loved my experience with Finnair. Courteous staff, clean and comfortable, very accommodating. The food was EXCELLENT. I would pick my next trip based on where Finnair flies (that is how pleased I was)!
Cons: The fact that I never used this airline in the past!

Pros: The flight did get us there.
Cons: This flight had about 6 different airlines listed. I was supposedly flying Finnair. Make no mistake, this was an American Airlines flight. On an old plane with crummy entertainment, uninspired food, and uncomfortable seats. But we did get here.

Cons: It is over a month now and I am still waiting to get my American Airlines miles awarded to my account. The trip was booked through FinnAir but operated by American Airlines. They are both members of the same alliance. The airline miles number was confirmed with American Airlines upon check-in. But now, American Airlines wants proof of my ticket receipt and boarding pass. I have my ticket receipt but who keeps their paper boarding pass these days? Hope my photo of the gate details suffices for my boarding pass.

Cons: When I booked the flight there wasn't an option for a special meal and I have dietary restrictions so I was unable to eat any of the food on the plane.
