We were delayed a bit due to late arrival at SeaTac. All was well until we reached Dallas and suddenly a weather storm cause the air traffic control people to stop landing in Dallas so we eventually diverted to Oklahoma City due to fuel concerns. We were never off the plane in Oklahoma City, but just waited for refueling and an opening to go onto Dallas. They were pretty clear most of the time about what was going on how much time was going to be required for this problem to resolve. They were honest about not knowing the details yet. That actually is helpful to me.
Healthier snack options in first class. Offer fruits, proteins, etc
I was worried about traveling with my mom with her accessibility requirements but they were able to accomodate and made it more pleasant to fly.
It was a good experience because it was unremarkable. The exception was we were an hour delayed.
Flight departure on time & arrived early. Stewardesses were pleasant, efficient, and polite. Aircraft was clean and seats were comfortable.

Last minute change in gate to satellite N a bit of a hassle since I needed a wheelchair . Someone did come and get me to the gate but it was close. Then plane late. It’s hard on older passengers and families to have to trek from one gate to another.
I had to cancel my trip due to health reasons three days after making the reservation. I was stunned to find out that the ticket was not able to be credited for future travel. $734 loss. Not happy that this was not my experience with Southwest Airlines. I will stick with SW in the future. Boo Alaskan Air and Kayak.

Talk about boarding with ALOHA. The attendants at the counter and the flight crew were so cheerful and happy, it was good to go home with that little bit of friendly aloha I seem to not get on other flights. I have not flown Hawaiian Airlines for quite some time, but this was better than most of my flights back to the islands. I loved the comfortable seats, the updated videos that were so culturally integrated with necessary information. For example, how many times do you have to watch a flight attendant give the same ol spiel on how to use your seat buckle. Instead their modern video of actual flight attendants on a beach talking about how you should you operate your buckle. Or how about the kane dancing hula in the loi'i patches and talking about where the exits are on the plane. It was fantastic and entertaining. I also liked the fact that I was offered a breakfast sandwich that was quite tasty. Nowadays you have to spend $10 on anything inflight and it just gets so ridiculous with prices it was nice not to have to pay for a snack. I also liked the fact that for a nice sugar rush, Honolulu Cookie Company cookies were given. How is that for advertising? Love, love, and loved it even more. As a local I sure felt the spirit of Aloha on this trip coming home and I would never say no to flying Hawaiian Airlines again.
