Cons: "Apparent aggressiveness to get as many carry on bags paid for by the ground staff measuring with a measuring tape all bags. I've never seen anything like it. My bag was fine. Then, when they started to take fees you had to come back and pay. It wasn't done right then. The ground staff was minimally helpful. Flight amenities or not, pay for headset and having more than 2 TV shows and 2 movies cost you an up charge even on an overseas flight. One choice for dinner.- pasta so it was vegetarian. Breakfast was a sad roll, one small piece of cheese and ham, and fruit that was that questionable. Overnight flight, pillow no blanket in Economy. Seats hard and leg room was tight. Their Economy plus and business looked a much better way to go."

He was the first time someone made feel so welcome on a flight. The guy is so funny and managed to have the entire flight in a happy mood before landing Well done"

Pros: "Flight run by American Airlines which is the worst airline in the US. Seats were very uncomfortable in the main cabin in coach. The man in the seat in front of me practically had his head on my lap the entire flight. The seat separation space is almost inhumane. Boarding is disorganized and the flight attendants were rarely pleasant. I will not fly American Airlines again when I fly this route in the future."

Cons: "The ambient lighting used throughout the cabin was too bright and stimulating to let me fall asleep in an overnight flight, should have been dimmed more or turned off. The seats did not help the comfort levels either, should have been able to recline a tad bid more. The carry-on-bag situation is getting out of control, you should crack down on people who bring too many bags or oversized bags that should be checked in instead."

Pros: "We had missed the bag check-in deadline by 2 minutes and were put on another flight that had a connection because everything else was booked. When it was time to check-in, we explained the situation to the representative and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to put us on the next direct flight which got us in quicker and avoided the delay. We were very appreciative of his help and how nice the staff was."

(An issue with another passenger arised and they were unprepared to deal with it). Also, the seats weren't all that comfortable but JetBlue does give you a sleep mask and ear buds for red eyes."

Waited at gate after boarding for almost 2 hours so the catering truck could replenish the plane so u would think they could be more hospitable since our flight was not full."

I'm pretty sure the connecting flight waited for us to make it and the crew on the LAX flight tried to expedite those with VERY short connection off the plane as quickly as possible."

Pros: "The flight was nearly full, but I lucked out. One person in my row did not show up, so myself and the other lady in my row had the benefit of having an open seat in between us. The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"
Cons: "My only complaint was that the flight was delayed out of LAX by about 30 minutes due to the flight in-bound being delayed. However, the captain made up most of this time in the air so it ended up being a non-issue."

The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. When I mentioned this to the flight attendant her response was that she had not received a report that the electric was not working. No other assistance was offered. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15."

Cons: "I bought my ticket in October, checked in yesterday and when I got to my gate was told I didn't have an assigned seat!!? This was totally unacceptable, I was told I didn't select a seat on the seat selection screen and that I was now on standby. I specifically remember the seat selection screen being extremely misleading and thought that I had selected seats when in fact I didn't according to Delta. Maybe instead of focusing your website on getting customers to upgrade their seats you should focus on getting them a seat first. Secondly make sure tickets can't be purchased unless a seat is assigned first. Who would want to buy standby tickets 3 months in advance? I'm guessing not many people."

Cons: "When boarding I had no sets assignment which I never enjoy. It was 5 minutes to boarding, I still didn't have a ticket and the agent was quite rude when I inquired. In fact, for the majority of the time before and even during boarding he was laughing it up and chatting with ticket agents at a neighboring gate. Then I did board, the ticket was not clear what my boarding group was so I missed out on boarding early. When i get to my seat I have two people completely unwilling to move to let me into my window seat, but are all too eager to tell me to be sure not to hit them. This flight was after a long layover and after a long flight from japan and was a horrible end to an otherwise beautiful trip."

I asked the boarding attendant if I could just get on this flight rather than waiting 2 1/2 hours for the next one. She said there were open seats on this flight but it would be a $50 fee to switch. This makes NO SENSE! I was standing there with a ticket purchased for the exact same itinerary, ready to board this flight with open seats, and I would have to pay extra? When this switch would open up a seat for the later flight for someone else in the same situation? Just a ridiculous way to charge people extra money for nothing. Very dissapoibted in Delta for this."

He gets major swelling, even with his compression sleeve. The up-charge to reserve exit row seats was over $100/person for both flights home. Luckily they were still available when boarding, and the nice desk clerk moved our seats for free. However, the rude flight attendance would not allow my boyfriend to elevate his leg and prop it anywhere, even after I explained his medical condition. Allowing the blood pooling increases his risk for clot formation, and it causes him extreme pain. I spent the majority of the flight massaging his leg, trying to push the blood and fluid back up. His ankle swelled around his compression sleeve, and finally he had to lay in the floor and put his leg up on the seat. The attendants told him "the best thing for you to do is to walk around for 10 minutes per hour." No, the best thing for him to do is elevate his leg and rest, not try to walk around a tiny, cramped plane, and elevate his stress level. Flight attendants need to be more aware and accommodating for these type situations, and exit rows need to be available for people who need them as far as size and medical needs require. It is not ethical to charge extra for handicap accommodations, neither is it ethical to charge extra for size and medical accommodations. These factors are not optional, and should not be billed as a luxury."

I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."

The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

The baggage carousel at the new terminal was poorly designed, shutting down when people went to pick up their bags. It took awhile to get our bags, and we were scolded by the staff for tripping some sensor. I don't know what universe y'all live in, but in this one, you have to move close to the carousel to lift your bag. So the sensor tripped like three times and people were unhappy."

Seat Confront was tight but the website made it clear the seating would be on selected seats and since I didnt pay for the upgraded seating you get what you pay for."
Cons: "The on-line section process was challenging to purchase tickets, not real user friendly had to keep going out of the site and back in again and then after payment was complete the baggage section was incorrect so it had to be fixed at baggage checkin, the baggage fees are cheaper on-line verses at the terminal but max weight was 40lbs the industry standard is 50lb. Didnt like having all the extra fees. All in all there was still a big saving as to going directly to SW Airlines"
