$200 hold on your card is just ridiculous when checking into a room.

Pros (+) Bar was welcoming. Pets are welcome. Shower was comfortable.
Cons (-) The bathroom lights can affect a sleeping partner. The look is cool but not practical.

Pros (+) I enjoy staying at A loft properties, Aloft Louisville downtown was the perfect location for attending the Forcastle Waterfront weekend event.
Cons (-) Had to make three attempts making coffee to get one cup that did not curdle from the spoiled hotel provided half & half creamers.

Cons (-) Bad service at check in, toilet didn't work, sink didn't drain, loud cleaners in the morning, smelled.

Cons (-) We arrived at 5pm for check-in and we told to wait because rooms were not clean - Garth Brooks concert the night before. Poor management and service, they could have offered us a free drink while we waited. Instead they guided us to their overpriced bar. They told us 20 minute wait, turned into 1 hour until we were able to get into our room. Not what I expected for the price and the hotel reviews.
