Admittedly, I haven't rented a car in a long time. The new, apparently across-the-industry policy of not using a debit card unless the reservation is made 24 hours in advance was a surprise. The manager at the location I attempted to rent from could have been way more helpful and understanding. I didn't cuss anyone out that day, but it wasn't because he didn't deserve it. Of course, I never got the rental. Thanks for nothing, Hertz.

The late night check-in was a pain for the agent because he didn’t know our flight info. Felt like I was an inconvenience for the late arrival after flight delays and 24 hours of travel. Wasn’t a good experience even after understanding his point of view. He was accommodating but pushy after finding out I had an expired license while waiting for my partner to arrive and finish the rental agreement.

My total price of booking including taxes was supposed to be $265 . I paid for tolls and gas from sixt . But they charged an additional A1 , $36 car rental tax 2% plus 8% sales tax and A2 tax was charged . Car was good but they gave me a car that needed coolant after I drive for 2 days so I had to exchange the car at a different airport . I hope you guys can contact me back .

I reserved at a close by airport and not airport and it was quickly resolved. We needed a car because we didn't board a cruise ship for the Bahamas during a hurricane on 8/17. We needed to drive back to Cleveland. The Enterprise reservation error was mine. On arriving at BWL at the car rental center Rylee at the enterprise counter easily corrected the information and made the checkin super easy and friendly. Soon we were on our way. Then the return of the car at CLE was just as seamless.. No question that our interaction with Rylee at BWL will impact my car rental selection every trip in the future and go with Enterprise. Pros:

I was unaware that the rental car place would be closed for the return.

Cons:

I believe the cleanliness of the vehicle was not up to par and that time needs to be taken to shampoo the interior. The seats were stained and the carpet could have been vacuumed. It did not feel at all comfortable. I believe the outside only was washed and that was it.
