Pickup experience terrible. Waited almost an hour in line. Took 15 minutes or more per customer. Get better software! It should take 2-3 min per customer. Car was parked in wrong spot. When leaving lot, attendant was quite rude about it, excusing us of taking the wrong car when it was Budget's screw up.Reviewed Jun 7 2026

I do not want to go over everything again as I have already provided all the information to Quee customer service. However in brief budget assigned us a car that was a piece of junk and after 15 miles would not start. We tried many times to get it started and even got help from police and firemen. We called several Budget numbers, finally getting roadside assistance, We were told we would need to wait another 4-6 hours to get the car towed. About 2-3 hours later I finally got the car started. We drove it back to the airport ( uncertain whether it would stall on the highway) and exchanged it for another car at the Avis desk. Our entire day was ruined. The car was junk with over 59,000 miles on the odometer. When we returned it to the airport and removed our bags the Budget personnel checked the car in and then went to move it ahead. They too could not get it started. It was still parked where we left it about 45 minutes later when we picked up our replacement car. We have sent all sorts of information and documentation to Quee who have submitted a claim to recover one day of rental charges. It should probably be even more as it ruined our first day in MD and put us in a serious and dangerous predicament, Shame on Budget for allowing a car with mechanical/ electrical problems to be on the road.Reviewed May 8 2026

I was unable to rent the car because the counter was closed. There was a sign directing everyone to Avi’s car rental which only had 1 person working and over 20 people in line. I ended up renting a different car from Alamo.Reviewed Jul 7 2025

The wait to pick up the car was incredibly long as Budget directed the renters to the AVIS counter and there was one person for many people, then a second person came. However, it would be much easier if there was a self-checkout kiosk.Reviewed May 19 2025
