Pros: Very personal, friendly, fast, & efficient customer service at all levels. Receptionists were supurb, car agent (Bobby) who directed me to vehicle was spectacular. The good service was especially appreciated given that it was a busy holiday weekend (Thanksgiving).

Credit card requirment
Cons: I don't have a credit card. Debit cards should be accepted even when you're not on an in-bound flight. If not the policy should be indicated when securing the reservation online.
Rear passenger tire was in need of air for my entire rental.

TURKISH DRIVER'S LICENCE WAS NOT ACCEPTED
Cons: I had rented a car from Alamo 2 days before from NYC to DC. When I went to location, they did not accept my license. I told them that I already rented from same company before and they said they cannot give me car. All my plans get screwed!!!

Easy in, easy out.
Pros: Check in process with kiosk was quick and easy. Car was clean. Attendant friendly. Return process equally quick.
Cons: All on-airport rental car companies use a centralized mass transit bus system that generally packs out. Not the most comfortable 15 minutes you'll spend, but okay for what it is.

Pros: Staff was friendly. Car was pretty new and clean. Price was right.
Cons: I had a car reserved for 10, showed up at 11:15, so you would think the car would be there no problem, particularly as the reservation process commits you no matter if you take the car or not. Rep informs me that they have only truck available, I say no good I have my wife, 11 month daughter and baggage. Rep lets me know they are bringing cars, should only be 5-10 minutes. I ask if they are waiting on returns or are they bringing cars from another location? Rep tells me cars are coming from another location. 20 minutes later I'm still waiting and I hear another rep say they are waiting for returns. At this point I'm already way late and annoyed that I was lied to, so I go to Alamo and get a car on the spot. Cost me twice as much, but what good is a rental with no car that you have to wait all day for. As I was leaving the rental area 40 minutes after the time arrived, the people who were there before me waiting for cars were still waiting for cars. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple of extra bucks on a reputable company so you don't get gouged on a same day rental when these folks can't deliver.

Baltimore Airport Payless location is not well-mar
Cons: I was given a soft-top Wrangler, which i tried to return before i'd gotten in it. i was uneasy with its safety, the fact that the trunk has a very small opening unless you start unsnapping and unfastening velcro, but most importantly, it is impossible to put an elderly passenger in it. They refused to switch it for a more suitable vehicle, even though there were dozens in the lot. The Wrangler is a very poorly made car, with doors that don't shut right, window switches that are impossible to find (beneath the dashboard?!) and the back seats keep banging and shutting and opening.

Car was fine, service was terrible.
Cons: Woman checking me out barely talked to me about the rental and was super unfriendly. I booked it for $60 and came back with a charge of $100. It would have been good to know that the rate I was quoted was not final. And no one explained the charges. The only reason I rented from the airport (which was out of the way) was because I was quoted this price on Kayak. Will probably not trust online booking for car rentals again.

Pros: The vehicle was very clean and pricing was great! I like the $13 deal if you drive less than 75 miles you don't need to worry about filling up the tank! Was very convenient.
Cons: Some other companies provide a free GPS with your vehicle. I was traveling from out of country so did not have a means to utilize data for my map apps. Although I was somewhat familiar with the area, it would have been a great addition to my rental if there was some sort of GPS provided.

Pros: Newer car
Cons: Poor customer service, especially at return. Car was returned to airport location, and even though Budget says they are a 24 hour operation there, no one was at car return or front counter. I was charged for gas even though I overfilled it before return. They claimed I did not show a receipt, but with no one present , WHO DO I SHOW THE RECEIPT! Additionally, there was an unexplained $8.00 charge for "optional services". No explanation given. I will not rent from Budget at this location again, and am not likely to consider them at other locations now. I travel extensively for my consulting business, and am not a rookie at this.

Cons: Hidden fees included and misrepresented upon query with the desk agent. A Road Safety Net (rsn) fee was tacked on, and i was told it was an airport tax. The item is not explained otherwise, just listed.

Pros: No one was cruel
Cons: BWI drop off was chaotic and the employees were either unavailable, stressed, or clueless. I pulled up where the sign said, got my things out and went up the walkway to find the guy checking the cars in. At the same time another employee drove away with it without checking it in!!! She didn't answer the radio and the check-in guy was driving everywhere to check it in (he told me he'd get it, but I didn't believe that). I found the car driving around the lot because the woman came back for her biggulp soda mug she forgot, stopped her and wouldn't let her leave until the check-in guy finished the job and gave me a proof of receipt.
Pros: When I first arrived at the rental car company, there were a few people in line, and only one customer Representative to help. I waited a good 45 minutes to get my car, and then when I got the car, it smelled like smoke. I told the person there, but he just notated it on the contract and that was it. He did not offer another rental car or anyting. This particular rental company at BWI should have better use of manpower and management. I will not rent there again.

Cons: After flight delays and failures of the airport rental car shuttle system, it was a bit annoying to wait at the counter for 5 minutes and then have a simple checkin process extended to include verifying my auto insurance. From the curbside rental car shuttle til I had the key in the ignition it was 75 minutes.

Pros: The service was good, the manager is great.
Cons: The car key was loose at the base when I picked up the car and I was not alerted that that could be a problem, Well, on my way back, as I fit in the key to the ignition, the base that was loose from the beginning broke off. When I returned the car, the attendant told me that I should call the manager the next day and that I will probably be charged $200.00 for the key. I told him that that will be very unfair because I did not do any damage to the key, it broke off on ignition. When I called the manager the second day to complain about it, he said that they have another key and that I should not worry. That was a very accurate judgement. It is a great thing for companies to have managers that make great judgements.
This was the first time renting car from them and I will do it again. Thank you Manager.

Pros: The gentleman that helped us polite, but that is about it!
Cons: First of all I reserved a luxury car. When we got there the gentleman offered us a dodge challenger for $20 extra. We agreed at first not really knowing what kind of car it was. When we got to the car, it was more like a low ride muscle car. It didn't have all the bells and whistle, not even leather seats (which I expected from a luxury vehicle). So when I went to switch the vehicle, he put me in a BMW 3 series which matched the description of a luxury car but still at the additional $20 price. At this time I wasn't going to argue with him, I just wanted to get in the car and go. It was a long day of traveling. We get to the BMW but it was an older model. It was riddled with dings and scratches all over the car. The lady at the check out even asked if we wanted to take this car out. Again, just note all the dings and marks and let us get on our way!! Driving out of the lot there were plenty of newer model luxury cars that could have been rented and not sure why we were charged an additional $20 per day for what we received (either car). Just not happy with the whole experience!

Pros: Very thrifty car--used very little gas. Only other choice was a Volkeswagon which I don't think you should even offer for rental given the emissions cheating scandal.
Cons: I'm not used to the +D- gearing, though I've driven manual and auto transmission cars. The car seemed to need to be "nudged" into each gear on the way up and sometimes down, by moving stick to + to go to the next gear. Seemed to take a bit of time and was distracting when merging onto freeways from interchanges.
Wish I had a note explaining it at the start when I got in during thunderstorm with 3 hr drive ahead!!
There were two major scratches in left side and no place on check in form to record them--I had attendant date and give her ID no.

Pros: I arrived, was directed to a spot, had my receipt processed immediately by a roving customer service rep. It went as it should.
Pros: The team in Baltimore at the airport facility for pickup and gate checkout was amazing.

3. The car was very clean on the inside and out.

Failure to honor reservation price
Pros: The personnel were professional.
Cons: Mislead about price. The reservation said $290 total including estimated taxes and fees. They offered an upgrade for $77 and we decided the extra room was worth it with our child's stroller to transport in addition to all out our baggage. The total was suddenly $580 including the upgrade. The personnel there said that the reservation quote did not include any taxes or fees and that airport costs were significant. Even after I showed them the email showing the reservation costs broken out and including taxes and fees. This felt like a bait and switch. We were stuck working with their new terms and of course no manager was around to escalate to. With a cranky toddler who had just flown 5 hours and 40 minutes already taking them to bring around the unwashed SUV, we caved and took their price.

Overall a really good experience
Pros: Pick up and drop off were easy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. More personal service than any other rental place I've used. We got a brand new SUV that had just been driven into the garage, which was also very nice!
Cons: It's a little expensive, and also our car had not been taken out of test drive mode, so there was a dash light blinking the whole time and we couldn't set the clock. They offered us a free upgrade card for our next rental for the inconvenience.

Pros: The guy at the counter didn't know what he's doing. This is a company that truly only cares about profit. Customer satisfaction gone. Asked for a certain type of car and gave plenty of notice beforehand. Was told when I arrived that the car wasn't available. Was told to wait for an hour atleast. Maybe one would come soon. Was then told could check at different location. So after waiting 30 minutes the car finally showed up. Overall an okay experience,.... Terrible customer service. Terrible business. Hopefully enterprise will step up there game.... Probably won't go through them again..... I rent frequently so this is a lose for them....
