At pick up. The computer showed an old reservation that had been later modified so my latest email on the changes did not match the agents info. Led to delays

They over charged us. We waited almost 2 hrs for the car. It was beat up! Not good:(

We waited in line for over 90 minutes to get the car. Staff (2 women doing their best) said there were no cars ready. How is this even possible when there are reservations? There were at least 40 people in line. A few jumped ship @ went to other car rental companies who had no lines. It was all frustrating. Once we did get our car, there appears to be several cars ready.

Great staff and good cost. The Jeep was perfect for northern lower Michigan. The car had two big scratches on the passenger side but was clean and full of gas. The check-in personnel were fast and easy also.

When we got to the Budget desk to get the vehicle we had reserved, there was a long line of others also waiting to get their vehicles. We were informed that they did not have the vehicles there, but had to wait for vehicles to be returned and cleaned. All of this happened at 11pm! After 2 hours of waiting to get to the desk, we were given a vehicle and told it would be in a specific spot. When we got into the lot, there was no car in the spot. We asked the desk down there and they were more helpful, but said they were not sure why they told us there was a vehicle. They were able to bring a vehicle straight from the cleaners after trying to give us an expired car seat. The car was not fully cleaned and the overhead light was hanging from the ceiling along with other side panels. We will NEVER rent from Budget again.

I liked that i could pick up from pdx. The issues were that the way to pick up from pdx was not clear and was very confusing. No clearly marked entry until you park in the parking structure and then ask someone where to go. Also we were not told why we were charged so much in the end and there was no receipt explaining the extra charges.

The car is too small for me. I had to crawl in and out of the drivers seat.

First of all, my dates were changed. When I went to the Kayak website to rent a car, the dates were different and I didn’t notice. When my husband picked up the car, he didn’t receive the one he reserved and ended up paying $300 more due to the date error. I will never use Kayak again. It was my first time using it, but having the dates changed, paying significantly more, and receiving a different car was not the experience we expected.
