Cons:When I showed up they told me a rental was for a downtown location asked if I could switch it there they said no I have no idea how I could go to kayak put MSP in and get a downtown location so either kayak her budget was trying to switch and bait me so I just went to another car dealer rental place and got one

Pros:The service rep who helped me close out our account at the end was wonderful. I feel bad that he has to work in a place that seems to have so many screw ups.
Cons:Waited in line at counter for 45 min to pick up. Had to go back to main desk to find anyone for drop off and discuss charge problem. I wasn't informed when I picked up the car at the airport that I was at the wrong location. I questioned the pick-up rep as to why the final price was $50 more than the quote. He said to call customer service later on. I did after leaving with car, they let me know I was charged $50 due to going to the wrong location. Had I been told that, we would have shuttled over to the correct pick up spot (very close to the airport). Rep at end helped sort it all out at the end.

It was hard to find both pick up and drop off locations. The air conditioning did not work. The temperatures were in the 90s and my phone kept overheating so I lost my map. When I stopped for the day, I called Budget. They would bring me a new vehicle but I would have to pay to have the current one towed even though someone would be there with the new vehicle. I was in a dangerous position and they were not helpful.

Cons:After selecting the MSP airport when placing the reservation we waited in line for 45 minutes only to find the car was located 20 minutes away off site. We had to pay an additional taxi fee to get to the offsite location. We feel this was a bit of a deceptive process when reserving the car not to let us know it was offsite until we arrived at the airport counter.

Cons:When I brought my car back they tried to charge me an extra 18.25 saying that it's a "glitch" in the system. The additional was a fuel surcharge even though I said I would bring it back full and I did including showing the attendant my has receipt. I wonder how many people don't notice or have the time (an extra 15 min) to deal with it.
