Pricy for a smallish suv. Agent in San Antonio told me I wouldn’t be charged for returning the car later than expected because it was less than one day rental but my receipt showed that Budget charged me a $20 late fee. I wasn’t happy about that.

There were 40 people in line and one person working. It was crazy! Then when I got my car it smelled like cheech and Chong had it before me.. cigarettes and pot were almost unbearable. Later when we were taking our luggage out, I found a knife in the trunk and threw it out. Car was fine but not a very good experience.

Inside of windshield was smudge wiped, even with AC front defrost it was smeared that I had to pull over and wipe with some clean socks. Wipers need replacing asap, rained and could not see. Next day I tried to wash and there was no water, completely empty. Read camera was dirty and couldn’t see when in reverse. I did report to MCI Budget. I’m not a complainer and let small things go but this was extremely bad.

The car wasn't especially clean. The auto drive was disabled due to how the last driver operated the car. One of the reasons I went with the more expensive Tesla was that I could try out the auto drive. Also, there wasn't a sufficient adapter in the car to charge it at my destination. Would not rent again.

I paid for a rental ahead of time for a luxury sedan and they gave it away prior to my arrival and had nothing suitable for a replacement.

Horrible wait for pickup. Hours. Dropoff equally bad since they wrote the wrong mileage. Made me wait in line at counter. Never again Budget.

Worst experience ever. They let me rent a car one-way and provided me with a confirmation number. When I showed up, they told me they wouldn’t rent me a car one-way, and I was left stranded. Terrible customer service.
