How can I find car rentals near me in Canyon Gate?
Not good! After checking to make sure they had a shuttle from the airport, they failed to mention that they close at 4 PM. My flight didn't arrive until 6 PM. I proceeded to the Airport Rental Center AVIS counter and was told that they do not honor offsite contracts even though they are the same company. I rented a vehicle from them as I need to get to my final destination, however, the price went from $58.00 to $285.00.
Did not receive the car. Showed up to a building full of upset people, some waiting as long as 2 hours for a vehicle to show up. Spent $100 in taxi fees trying to round up a car. Went to Avis and got one, smooth transaction! Doubt I will use Hertz again.

There are a list of things that were terrible about the experience. 1. took the shuttle to the Hertz rental location at the LV airport - only to be told the location was a $45 cab ride away. 2. 30 minute cab ride only to find a poorly manned office full of people some of whom had been waiting over an hour. Kids screaming, luggage everywhere. 3. 45 minutes later, with almost no movement in the line and the person for Hertz instead of helping us was still stopping to take more reservations on the phone. 4. My wife decided to walk next door to Enterprise which had a wonderful organized office and 10 minutes later we were finally able to start our vacation of Bryce Canyon and Zion Nat'l Park. 5. When we told the Enterprise people about our experience at the Hertz office next door they said it happen everyday with people waiting hours to get their rental cars and when they did get their cars it was either in bad shape or different than what they had booked. Summary - terrible experience and had to go elsewhere to rent a car.

Didn’t have a car. The manager was arrogant and made it seem like it was my fault since I made the reservation a day before. However, a young lady working there found me a car and got me a ride to a different location. Kudos to her but the manager was down right rude. Whole ordeal took several hours and was very frustrating.

Hertz needs to acquire more rental cars immediately. The available supply was inadequate, and only by some miracle, was I able to get my rental car. The drop off instructions and communication was a complete disaster, and they need to get organized. I am unimpressed by Hertz and would not recommend renting with them.
