Well I reserved my car for 12, but when I got to the location they were at lunch. I waited 45 min for nothing as I was told when they got back I was at the 2nd location within the casino and needed to go to the other. Well they didn't have my card. We didn't get the model when booking, most importantly it has a defective front passenger window, it broke a few days after picking up the car, just by opening the door. So we drove back to Las Vegas, after a 4-hour trip. They wouldn't give us compensation for the gas or our time to return their defective car. Plus, nobody was "responsible", they kept telling us to call the hotline to address our concern, which when called kept telling us to address it with the office. I would definitely not book again with hertz nor recommend it, quite the contrary...Reviewed Aug 31 2023

I had inadvertently made a reset at another location but the attendant wouldn’t even acknowledge the issue or offer to rectify it. I ended up simply renting another car and absorbed the cost (I.e. threw my money away). Therefore, will not use Hertz again.Reviewed Aug 19 2023

The car was literally wrecked, the front bumper hanging off, dented hood, scratched on all sides, huge coffee stains on every seat, smelled like cigarette smoke and had 64,000 miles on it. I felt like one of the employees gave me their car and kept my actual rental. There were no stickers on the car to indicate Hertz.Reviewed Aug 18 2023

I had planned to book a car out of the Las Vegas airport. Due to my own error, I had actually booked one on Sahara dr. I was told this upon arriving at the rental desk at the airport. I recognize this was my own mistake. However, the employee directed me to go to the location on Sahara. I took an Uber and upon arrival learned there were 2 locations on Sahara and I was at the wrong one. The employee was helpful is getting our reservation moved over to this location we were at. We did agree to return the car to the same location and planned to uber to the airport from there. Our return time was 12:00pm. We arrived at 12:15pm to find out the location had closed at noon and would not be open again until Monday. There was no key drop off at the location. I asked someone from the sales side if I could return the key to them. She was very rude. As I was walking out the door she explained that she could hold the keys as a courtesy but we would still be charged for the rental until the location reopened on Monday. It was incredibly frustrating, that this had not been explained to us when we agreed to return the car at the location on noon on a Saturday. We ended up returning the car to the airport location and took the fee of returning to a different location as that was the cheaper option. It was clear this was a common issue as we ran into others having the exact same problem. If this is a common issue, the employees should be more cognizant about communicated these details. Beyond this, our car was just ok. The car itself seems pretty clean but the transmission did not work well and we were constantly struggling to meet the speed limit on the highway.Reviewed Aug 13 2023
