Annoying coupon policy
Pros: Car was fine, people at the counter were friendly
Cons: Had a voucher which didn't work in any of the spots for coupons or promotions online. Brought it to the counter and since the coupon exceeded the amount due I could only redeem that amount. Ended up upgrading car so I could use full voucher amount.

Not that bad...
Pros: When our trip plans changed, Hertz was able to accommodate our new change without many issues.
Cons: They did not have a car ready when i arrived to get the car. This set our trip back 2 hours and changed a lot of things that were connected to timing.

Cons: Allentown Airport Auto Rental Drop-off sucks. The cost of the auto rental itself was excellent value/cost; however once you add in the "walk-away" insurance, the value proposition drops dramatically.

Very Poor customer service
Pros: Car was good.
Cons: The customer service at pickup was the worst I have ever experienced with a car rental!! There were about 20 people in line and one CSR !! I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes in line!
Called the home office. Nothing happened. And they weren't going to do anything other than to say I'm sorry. I demanded, and finally got a one level upgrade. They made me miss most of an important meeting. Very poorly run!!

drop off is a problem
Cons: Previously, all one had to do was drop the car off in the parking area and the attendant took care of everything including mileage, keys, condition etc.
When i arrived and late because of unusually bad traffic, i was told by the attendant that i had to take the keys and the mileage to the desk. I protested and then took the keys and mileage to the desk. There were other disgruntled returnees there and not one...NOT ONE Hertz employee there! I had to drop the keys and the paperwork on the desk to get my flight.
This will prompt me to not use Hertz in the future.
Pros: Comfortable for long ride. Spacious. Easy return.
Cons: Car wasn't ready at pickup, had to wait. Wasn't completely cleaned - found water bottles under seat, and a lot of sand in the car.

Mirage is tiny...
Pros: The car was new picked it up on a rainy evening. The process is very smooth, friendly and professional. This is why I enjoy renting at ABE airport. Only sad thing was the dirty outside windows Suggestion: a little windex before you turn the car over.

Pros: Glad they stayed for the multiple flight delays appreciated the free upgrade to luxury but would have preferred the smaller car I requested
Cons: Counter help was RUDE. Barley spoke and couldn't answer anything. Rental info was wrong and I was told to DEAL with it.

Unorganized for both pickup and dropoff
Pros: There was only one person at the counter handling multiple companies. Despite all the car company names, there are in reality only several rental companies. I waited 20 minutes to pick up my car, and then it wasn't in the location I was told. The car had a little bit of a deodorizer smell to it, almost as if someone had previously smoked in it. For dropoff, there wasn't anyone in the lot. We had to walk all the way inside through barricades (the airport is under construction), and again wait as only one person was handling about 4 or 5 different rental company names.
Cons: Dollar left me stranded without a vehicle. When I arrived at dollars counter, I was informed that they do not except debit cards. Unfortunately this is all I had with me and I had no other means of transportation. This was not mentioned anywhere in my reservation information from kayak.com. The agent at the counter told me that this was kayak.com's problem not a dollars issue.

Cons: I searched Kayak fir a full size car deals , and your web site shows an offer from Dollar company that I took. When I went to pickup the car they inform me that it will be Nissan Versa!!! Which is a impact car. I had to pay more money to upgrade to full size car.They also charge me much higher for the insurance that the online options.

Cons: Drop off was OK, but car not ready until 45 minutes after pick up time. And only one lady at the counter handling 3 different car rental companies. She was great, but overworked.
Cons: The car I paid for was not there even though I got there later then was scheduled. They offered a free upgrade then took it back after they realized it was already reserved . I offered to go to another location to get the car I needed. They said that was up to me but that I would have to call the other location.

Overall good with effort
Pros: I tend to book economy cars because if driving long distances I wish to save money on gas. When I arrived they did not have my car available and did not offer the upgrade for free as most places do but then attempted to charge me full price even beyond my booking price. Like the price that you get when you walk in desperate. My wife made the booking and had to call Enterprise national to get this fixed. I was in a rush at rush hour so to speak and I couldn't deal with everything off the bat. We ended up getting the upgrade for free in a discount which was nice. But in the long run I paid a lot more for gas for a big car I didn't need.
Cons: The fact they didn't have my car available and didn't call me to say anything. They did call that morning though to confirm when I was on the way to the airport.

Ended up cancelling
Pros: Pick up area was clean (but it was an airport after all)
Cons: Staff member was rude, unhelpful and obviously didn't like her job. We cancelled on the spot. After we cancelled the next person in line asked do they have any available cars and she almost shouted NO!
