there was no car available for rent when we went to pick up the car, and not likely that our selected vehicle (large suv) would be returned. after an hour and a half, we took an uber to our destination and rented from another company.

They could have updated their system to not having any vehicles available! I secured a vehicle and then 2 hours later someone from hertz called me stating there were no vehicles in stock. And they looked around the area and nothing was available. Very frustrating and inconvenient. If I didnt answer the call while at work. I would have been driven to hertz and been left without a car.
