The rep never looked me in the eye during pick up or drop off: he spoke to the iPad and computer screen. I had to ask for the car to be washed. The Lynbrook location of the Avis counter was convenient for my stay on Long Island. They seemed to have plenty of cars and there was essentially no wait at the counter to get my car.Cons:
The Avis office is in a dingy broken down building - no frills. The car was clean except for the interior windows which were filthy. Upon returning the car the Avis attendant must of noticed the filthy windows and even asked if I smoked in the car (I'm a non-smoker) and I informed her that that was the status of the windows when I rented the car just a few days earlier.Budget
