Pickup truck

I had a fantastic experience with Enterprise. The representative at the Brandon, FL location was incredibly helpful, customer-focused, and accommodating. When I returned the vehicle in Killeen, TX, I received the same high level of service—friendly, efficient, and professional. The representative there expedited the return process and had me on my way quickly. I highly recommend both locations to anyone in need of rental car services.

Full-size SUV

The people at the first enterprise we went to were too busy, unhelpful and gave away our rental car. Took us three hours to find a big enough rental. We reserved the rental June 20th for a family vacation. Really at a loss they gave away our vehicle. We finally found one at another location after going to four locations with no large vehicles. We then paid 300$ more for not even the same car we originally rented. Really disappointed.

Pros:

The staff was difficult at the airport, we had to pickup are car at a different location(On Nebraska) and to get a Uber to that location. Once we got there.....The young lady was very helpful. Was concerned on drop off because we originally was to have a car from the airport but the young lady state we could drop off the car at 3909 hillsborough ave. Which was ok but we still were inconvenienced on a expense of getting a Uber.

Cons:

Making sure that you have enough vehicles to rent to customers. All three locations next to enterprises did not have cars to rent to customers. Customers were pissed off and being turned away without any assistances.

Cons:

Enterprise accepted my reservation for a Sunday return to a location that is not open on Sundays. I walked to the Dropbox to find that “due to security issues” they do not accept drop offs after hours and if you drop the keys, you are liable for anything that happens to the vehicle. My flight out was before they opened on Monday. I spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to find someone who could tell me what to do and ultimately, no one had an answer for me. National chain submitted a ticket with the branch I was using in HOPES that they wouldn’t charge me if I returned the car to the airport the next day. Apparently the national brand has no way of contacting branch managers in instances like this and they also don’t have authority to waive fees on behalf of stores using their name. The entire experience was extremely inconvenient. Luckily I didn’t miss a flight because of it but as a young female renting a car alone, I did NOT appreciate sitting in a car in a bad part of town (bad enough for them to blame no drop offs on security issues) for 90 minutes. It has been 2 days since Sunday and I still have not received a call regarding my experience, though I’ve left multiple messages. I’ve had great experiences with Enterprise in the past but the lack of competence I experienced from the team this past weekend will cause me to take my business elsewhere going forward. I know mistakes happen but a large chain should have a much better internal communication system and plan for things like this. Very disappointing.

Economy

First the pickup and drop off place was a Hertz rental location and not a Thrifty location. Second this is a location less geared to travelers and more geared to local customers and it is understaffed. Third it is not anywhere near the airport and we could not change the location to the airport which would have Ben more convenient. Finally, we were not offered the opportunity to purchase the fuel program, so had to stop to buy extra gas unnecessarily. All of the above made this rental car experience poor.

There are not reliable and lack flexibilities. The arrival of my plane was postponed with 3 hours. I called the office to inform them of the changes and they said that they are sorry but the office will be closed at that time and I can not pick up the car. They close the office at 12 and I arrive at 2 pm.

Pros:

I like that I had other options for transportation at the airport when Hertz quoted me a price 150% over the price of the reservation I made.

Cons:

They could have provided me with the vehicle I rented at the price I rented it. They didn't, even though I had a copy of the reservation on my phone, so I left.

I mistakenly rented at another hertz , he would not honor the price of rental only, said there were hardly and taxis or Uber drivers put on 90 miles for $648 total rip off

Pros:

The return was quick and easy

Cons:

We had to wait 30 minutes for them to have the car ready even though we had a reservation. They gave us the car with 1/4 tank of gas. When I asked why we weren't getting a full tank they said we could but it would be a longer wait time. I have never rented a car with less than a full tank of gas. I thought that was very unprofessional.
