Advertised online for $32.99 a day, final estimated price being $78. Ended up being charged for one day and one hour, yet it was somehow $98. Don't see how that adds up.One location in Conroe

Pros:
Staff was fine, but they will let you reserve a car, arrive at pick-up time, just to tell you they don't have any cars available??? Why can you reserve a car...IF THERE AREN'T ANY AVAILABLE??? FIX YOUR SYSTEM.Cons:
I don't know, actually have what is being advertised and agreed upon.7.6 Good

Pros:
They did not have the SUV that I actually rented, but I felt they were very accommodating and found me a nice enough automobile. Although I would have rather had the SUV, the car was fine.Cons:
The place needs some signs so that people know where to go to pick up and drop off. The Hertz office is behind locked doors, and unless someone happens to walk by and let you in, you have to stand by the locked door until someone sees you. The sign posted on the door with phone numbers to call for assistance has bad/wrong phone numbers!5.2 Fair

Pros:
The agent, Rosie Ball, was very gracious and professional.Cons:
The car had over 40,000 miles on it and the tread on the tires was very low. I had to drive thru heavy weather so it was very scary. The key fob would not open the trunk.4.8 Mediocre
Mar 2017
Pros:
The person working the office (Rosie) was very pleasant and helpful.Cons:
Zero signage at the road, parking lot, or building. I called from outside to confirm the location and had to take an unmarked elevator to the second floor. The door in the lobby had a note "Do NOT knock - call________ for Hertz assistance" Very strange, awkward, and tenuous. Only one person working the office so when she went down to help the other patron, I was left alone in the office until her return. (Again an awkward experience.) To top it all off, the car was covered in mud.6.8 Okay

Cons:
Returning my car in Dallas to DFW Airport and was caught in funeral procession for one of the DFW Police Officers, no worries I waited and paid my respects. I was an hour late to drop off my car, they charged 58.00 an hour plus another 23.00 insurance fee, so 81 dollars for being 1 hour late ridiculous. The worst part is the guy scanned my car in said have a good day everything was good, then as I am going to my flight I review the receipt and noticed the extra charge. At least they could of said something. I will never rent from them again.5 locations in Conroe

Pros:
The car reserved was same at time of rental (Nissan Altima).Cons:
Waited 20 minutes for car to arrive and when it did it was not clean and fuel tank was only half full. Had to extend reservation for one day and rental location did not express vehicle had to be returned by Noon on Saturday when they closed nor did they have a drop box; therefore would be paying for entire weekend. Had to return to airport 26 minutes one-way out of my way.Pick-up location | Conroe |
