Pros: Rooms were well appointed and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Pool was closed
Pros: Great on all counts that matter to us: staff, design, amenities, location, and value. Works for business or leisure. Our 12 year old son and I decided to stay in White Plains on a lark (after an educational and fun trip to Sleepy Hollow), and very happy we did. Would recommend to anyone who needs "a clean, well-lighted place" to sleep.

Pros: The hotel is very modern and the staff members are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They have a great swimming pool, exercise gym and only a few minutes drive away from central Greenwich. The restaurant served amazing dishes and drinks.
Cons: We initially got a room with a view...of a parking lot. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to switch rooms to the second floor which was better and more private. It made no sense that the balcony was not accessible, which I think the hotel should change.
Pros: It was very updated- tech savvy. The staff went out of their way. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and they put our food orders in immediately and brought dinner to our rooms (10:30 at night). A great experience.
Cons: Not at all.
Pros: Small, comfortable with a nice restaurant/bar. Friendly staff. Other nearby alternative (Hyatt Regency) is a 'big' hotel. This was our third time here and we like it.
Cons: Only negative: a little TOO modern. Toilet opens when you step in the shower. No hooks in bathroom (maybe one). Wife had to turn waste can upside down in shower to shave legs.
Pros: The staff was outstanding. I received a warm welcome when I arrived and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay. The room had amazing features with the latest and greatest technology as well.
Pros: New, modern look. Privacy on the deck area. Bed was great.
Pros: The cool vibe, high tech reputation (if not execution), great food in restaurant and bar
Cons: My phone did not work in my ground floor room, and since they said the hotel was full they would not change it.
Pros: proximity to Greenwich
Cons: My room was not ready in late afternoon when I arrived to check in. I had to wait in the lobby. The 'continental breakfast' is not more than coffee, dry cereal, and a dry roll. I was very disappointed.
Pros: the staff were very helpful and gave more than was asked for, they went above and beyond. The location was perfect for me, easy on/off 95 and I had to travel north in the morning (against traffic) and south in the evening (also against traffic)
Cons: a little instruction on where to find things would be great, such as the buttons needed to work the lights and shades
Pros: The toilet was AMAZING! I also enjoyed the staff, very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The bar was also a nice touch. The free shuttle was also a plus, I will be staying their again in the near future.
Cons: I loved everything!
Pros: I received a patio room, which is much nicer (and quieter) than the 'motel' courtyard room, which should be avoided at all costs. This was the first room I recieved with a bath and a separate shower.
Cons: This was my 3rd trip to this property. On each visit, one of the evenings I ate at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the meals has not been as expected, nor commensurate with the price. Minor nit, housekeeping did not replace toiletries during my stay.
Pros: I loved the high-technics of the hotel. Very modern. Beautiful art through the hotel.
Cons: The food and bar was a bit pricey.
Enjoy your visit to Riverside with a stay at J House Greenwich. You can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, or aromatherapy, and American cuisine is served at J House Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An outdoor pool and a poolside bar are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPads, iPod docks, and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: The room's bathroom facilities. All staff interactions were great.
Cons: Parking was $30 for the night.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The spa and pool were top quality, although it was hard to get an appointment when we checked in. this was a last minute, get-a-way trip for us, so we did not make spa reservations before hand and there were practically no services available. The hotel staff was extremely attentive. First class service all the way, from the pool attendants to the maids, to the doorman. We felt like a million dollars.
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, updated and huge. The bathroom was wonderful aswell. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Cons: The front desk staff seemed to be a bit incompident with hotel details such as hours of the spa and restaurant and how the computer system worked. It seemed like there were a lot of 'new' people on staff.
Set in the heart of White Plains, New York, just 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan and Greenwich, CT, our luxury hotel takes cues from nature, incorporating seasonal elements into everything from spa treatments to the menus at our award-winning restaurant, including BLT Steak. Those who enjoy the outdoors will find opportunities for golfing, hiking and biking nearby, while unique experiences, including swimming under the stars at our rooftop pool.
Pros: There's nothing like staying at an excellent hotel where there is a 'yes' to every question. The entire staff is friendly and professional and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Thanks guys!
Cons: Have to pay for parking , and the AC unit was noisy..
Pros: The location is a very short walk from the Palace Theater which is the venue we were in town to visit.
Cons: The swimming pool is very small and shallow.
Pros: The hotel restaurant was excellent. The staff was very nice and the location was great.
Cons: Everything was very good except our room was right next to the elevator and think something with the elevator kept knocking or rattling. Made it hard to fall asleep but didn't keep us awake.
Pros: Great location in Stamford. the staff was incredibly accommodating for an early check in request.

Pros: We stayed for only one evening but we were quite pleased. The hotel is lovely and located on the harbor with gorgeous views. It is also conveniently close to the train station which we took to and from Manhattan. The shops of Greenwich are also within walking distance and this provides a nice option. The shops are upscale and unique. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. Champagne is provided upon arrival and there was a continental breakfast provided. The staff was kind and not intrusive. Awesome place! You won't be disappointed.
Cons: No pool and nothing for kids to do.

Pros: Our room was spacious and very clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were comfortable.
Coffee was good, I usually dislike hotel coffee but Hyatt had some good coffee.
Cons: Breakfast buffet could have been a little more exciting. Limited choices and pretty bland.
Cons: Cumout leaked from midnight , never had this kind issue in any other place
Pros: The kitchen is nearly fully stocked
Cons: This was the best stay I've ever had with my dogs.

Pros: The room was very nice and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The room service and food was great.
Pros: This hotel does a nice job with a very tired building. Great lobby, beds are comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly
Cons: The building is a bit long in the tooth. Peeling wall paper in the hallways, floors that are not level, etc, etc.

Cons: Stay was great, but check in process was awful. 2 staff members were helping a couple that needed some more assistance, but it tied up the whole front desk. My fiance and I were in a hurry, and we waited 5+ minutes to check in. Another guest behind me was also making comments about the wait. I hope there is a quicker and more efficient way to check in, in the future. Otherwise, if the whole front desk staff is tied up helping a customer, hopefully they can give the other customers an explanation of the delay.
Pros: The area is beautiful, the hotel is massive and very clean.
Cons: I didn't stay long enough. Checked in at 1am, checked out 10am the next morning.
Cons: The user interface for getting connected to the WiFi was the worst i have experienced compared to the many other hotels at which I've stayed. I walked my device down to the front desk twice to get help where the gentlemen who attempted to help were unsuccessful. I don't know if the server was experiencing because eventually (an hour later) the connection was made, but i needed the connection quickly. I needed to resort to using the computers in the lobby.
Pros: Updated and easy to get to
Cons: Had to pay for wifi- and had a big bug in the shower
Pros: I like that it was tucked away from the highway and from any busy streets.
The ambiance was very professional; very nice decor; generous sized rooms and very bright lights in the bathroom.
Cons: Would have been nice to have free wifi.

Pros: The bed, bedding and the room all comfortable.
Check out was easy and fast. I love the fact that you can check out of the room through the television system and drop your key in the box on the way out.
Cons: The entire lobby was like ice the entire time.
Wait staff in the bar/atrium were flat, limited engagement and robot-like.
Pretzels and salad were quite costly at the bar/atrium.
Tables in the lobby were uneven and not always wiped down.
Pros: Above average facilities.
Cons: This hotel is steps from Stamford which is a less than ideal location. The parking spaces are very small.
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable, though somewhat dated.
Cons: I did not like having to pay $12 to park in a lot behind the hotel. I'm accustomed to paying for parking in a city environment where parking is at a premium, but this is a suburban environment. Charging for parking seems ridiculous.
Also, there is only one elevator bank and our room was at the opposite end of the hotel, causing for a very long walk and we happened to have a lot of stuff with us. They desperately need a second elevator bank.
Pros: Beautiful Atrium. friendly staff.
Noisy. High parking rates. Unappealing pool-not that clean Overpriced food.
Pros: Comfortable beds, well-located if you have a car. Beautiful indoor garden.
Cons: Very noisy - you can hear everything in surrounding rooms. Unfriendly and unaccommodating front desk staff. What seems like an oppressed cleaning staff. High parking rates just to park at the hotel. Extra charge for high speed internet. Unappealing pool and gym. Overpriced food. No flexibility for later check-out.
Cons: Pool was overrun with 15 kids at a birthday party
Pros: Atrium is a nice look and close to highway
Cons: I can understand a valet parking fee, although excessive at $25, but a $12 park yourself fee at a hotel not in a downtown area with a huge parking lot is not nice.
Cons: self parking i s $12 per night. what a rip-off the hotel does nothing for it. there is no security in the parking lot.
Pros: Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and positive. Your shuttle drivers couldn't have been nicer.
We were in Greenwich for a funeral, without a car. Your Shuttle service was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt.
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful.
Cons: Cost for water and self parking. Rooms not as pictured online.
Cons: Walls are paper thin and guests like to scream in the hallways and all common areas
Pros: The rooms excellent
Cons: I liked everything
New, renovated rooms. Close to airports, train, 45 min to NYC. Comp shuttle w/in 5 miles incl Stamford biz district. Walking distance to restaurants, steps from Stamford border. Award-winning Winfields restaurant and Gazebo Bar. Comp coffee each morning, comp access to Health Club, incl indoor pool. Amenities incl in-room dining, laundry service, biz center, newspaper. Contemporary new guestrooms include flat screen TV, iHome alarm clock, iron/ironing board, safe, fridge, deluxe bath amenities
Cons: The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.
Cons: Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Proximity to the mall and restaurants is nice.
Cons: I'd prefer free parking, but who wouldn't?
Pros: The staff were especially friendly and helpful

Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, accommodating, friendly and breakfast was very good
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: nice decor, good location
Cons: No window on room, only one soap bar, uncomfortable bed and pillow, YMCA exercise music at 6AM, difficult parking lot
Pros: Staff was very friendly and let us do a late checkout.
Cons: There was barely any parking for the hotel. Caused a big inconvenience because parking is limited. Wish we knew that before we got there.
Pros: They were friendly the rooms were clean and we weren't bothered all weekend
Cons: They had one small elevator for the entire hotel and it was unbearably slow. Then if you went to take the stairs they were filthy.
Pros: Hotel Zero Degrees has a great location, helpful, friendly, and professional staff, deliciois breakfast, and clean, modern rooms. It seems to be a well cared for, updated building with nice decor.
Cons: As others have mentioned, the walls here are quite thin. Staying here on Valentine's Day presented a symphony of noise through the walls on all sides. Also, like many hotels, the heat/AC left me bone dry by morning.
Cons: Party Central. Music playing all night. Apparently unsupervised children in the room next to me, while the parents hit the bars.
The room itself was average, sort of a mix of honeymoon suite and no-tell motel vibe. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, and the shower (sized for two, no tub, low water pressure) had an awkward layout.
The website makes no mention of fact that parking is available or how to access it. By the time I got to the desk and learned that there was parking, I had already paid to do so at the public garage next door.
When I turned in my key, the desk clerk ask how my stay was. "Fair". "Oh, that's great!"
Pros: Cozy stay. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't so great. I really dislike fake eggs.
Pros: Close to downtown
Cons: Small room.
Located in the heart of Stamford, this boutique hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Museum of Black World War II History, Stamford Center for the Arts, and Stamford Public Library - Ferguson Library. Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery and Stamford Town Center are also within 15 minutes.
Cons: Ants in rooms
Outside furniture needs replacement
Weeds in beds
No local channels on TV
Pros: Staff very friendly, room very clean. Looking out to the courtyard was beautiful!

Pros: I love everything the room was spacious and it was perfect
Cons: Breakfast was not that great
Pros: The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast had many nice choices, especially the fresh fruit and the amazing, high-quality coffee--unexpected in a hotel. Like a good restaurant.
Cons: But could never get the Internet connection to work, which was difficult for us, since we needed to do some important online transactions. There was a problem with the "certificate" and security level.
Pros: I didn't like being lied to. I may never stay here ever. I confirmed, 3 days prior and 24 hrs prior to arrival. At check in, told suite is unavailable. Then asking for different suite being lied to about actually not a suite but reg. Rm., then said they would check other hotels...b.s. On my own had to find alternative location.
Cons: Location was questionable
Pros: I was very pleased with the customer service of the hotel. Staff was very friendly as well as very helpful. The price of the stay was very good for the hotel and breakfast was included. I will definetly recommend this very nice hotel..
Cons: Mattresses are not that comfortable.
Pros: The room was spacious, with a very comfortable king bed. Housekeeping did a great job, and the front desk staff were very nice. Having a full breakfast available was a definite plus! I'd be happy to stay here again when my travels bring me to NYC due to the proximity of the train station.
Cons: We were disappointed that the courtesy shuttle to the train station didn't run on weekends; our choices were walking to the station in the rain (which is what we did) or paying for a taxi. The hotel is going through some renovations, which were poorly timed: painters on the main floor on a Sunday morning impeded our access to the breakfast area and made the restrooms unusable. There was also an issue with overcharging us for a room which we has already paid for in full using Booking.com. This was recitifed, but I'd think twice before booking through a third party other than AAA again.

Pros: I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns during the past 30 years of business and leisure travel and this one was a great pleasurable stay. It started with check-in when Midinah at the desk greeted with such cheerfulness that I thought it was 9:30 AM instead of 9:30 PM. After a tough day of travel, it was nice to get a warm welcome after walking into the lobby. And it was as if she was expecting me when I walked in through the entrance. I was amazed that she could tell that I was going to be a new guest, since I didn't bring any luggage with me during check in.
The Health Club was impeccably clean and spacious, which is appreciated. In most other chains, an exercise room is just a closet with with a mirror and some free weights. I like that there is room to move around and to be out other guests' way. Having the five exercise machines was a great sign to guests that this Residence Inn takes the guests need to exercise seriously.
The breakfast buffet was well managed and well stocked with cooked staples like eggs, fried pepper and onions and canadian bacon.
The adjoining restaurant, Aberdeen, was a hidden gem. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum all day long. On Yelp.com someone said "I've always heard that if you see Asians eat at an Asian restaurant that the place has got to be good". And it was true when I ate there.
Cons: The parking is $10 per night and it is a tight squeeze to get around the garage and to park.

Pros: The location location location and the King Size Bed!
Cons: My room was too class to the elevator, someone's children were a bit noisy.
Pros: Bathroom felt kinda dated with the drop down sealing.
Cons: Dated lobby
Pros: The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful
Pros: The staff were extra friendly and very informative. Most notable, concierge members met my questions with smiles and helpful advice.
Cons: Our refrigerator was definitely malfunctioning but when I told them about it, they were prompt to send someone to address the issue.
Proximity and ease of travel to NYC a big plus!
Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff!
Cons: Cost for parking.
Pros: Very convenient location to I-95
Cons: The hotel had to be evacuated for a smoke alarm. No fault of the hotel, but it was an inconvenience. I wish they had offered a small token for the inconvenience in addition to a letter of apology.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and clean. Perfect location - right next to the water, great restaurants, very friendly people, all in all a beautiful place.
Cons: Nothing - it was a perfect experience!
Pros: The pool was nice and the I liked the bed
Cons: its a little worn.
Pros: I liked the complimentary shuttle service to resturants.
Cons: Being woken up at 2:30 for a fire and no hotel personelle outside to keep people notified on what was going on. The announcement that rang through the hallways stated people would be in the hallways to help and that did not happen.
This hotel is very clean the staff is very polite and they met all my needs
Pros: I like that they had a bar inside the hotel that way I didn't have to leave to find a place to hangout at
The hotel is convenient to the train. Always clean and friendly.

Pros: The hotel is very convenient to where I work. I did like the buffet breakfast. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable.
Cons: 1. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor.
2. I didn't like that I couldn't turn on a light in the room from the entry way. Only the hall light. Had to go into a dark room to find a lamp by the bed.
Pros: There wasn't much to like
Cons: At first when I walked in the room smelt like old dirty gym socks
After an overcooked steak and some rather small portions on the dinner menu, the staff in the dining room including the manager were on their phones instead of paying attention to the floor. I went upstairs to sleep where I had a bad reaction to either the towel in the shower or the detergent on the sheets and was rushed to the hospital with an allergic reaction covering most of my neck, chest and shoulders, loss of breath as well. I'm greatful for my wife calling 911
To say the least I wont be back

Pros: Staff very friendly, breakfast good. Clean, modern room, very comfortable bed.
Cons: Parking $10 and somewhat of a walk. For $12 I could have done valet parking, but I prefer to self-park.
Pros: Breakfast was delicious
Cons: Had to drive into town

Cons: No indication of site constructoion. Jack hammering could be heard in rm. Bugs in bathroom reported day one. Still there day 2. They offered free breakfast when we reported this? Who would eat there? Room smelled musty. No window to open. Had to pay to park in a garage. Overall bad experience.
Pros: Staff were super helpful and courteous. Price was way less than half of what it would have cost us in NYC. Train to NYC was 45 minutes and hotel has free shuttle to train station.
Cons: Bathroom door was very squeaky but they fixed it quickly and were genuinely concerned with guest comfort. Sound proofing between rooms not super great but still overall very good experience.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't included
Cons: It was noisy. Rolling cleaners and guest luggage in the hallways.
Our key did not work and the engineer had to come.
he was nice.
Pros: Room was comfortable.
Cons: Being charged for parking at the hotel's own parking lot. A not so subtle tactic for padding charges for the room. Reminds me of the tactics of cellular companies that dream up an assortment of additional charges to the stated price of service.
Pros: Quiet and comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children. Good breakfast at hotel restaurant.
Cons: Noisy atrium on weekend even late into the night. Out-dated pool area.
Pros: The stay could be overall satisfactory. I love the location and the hotel looks great!
Cons: A lady wakes me up early in the morning, while clearly I turned the do not disturb key on. And by 9 am it was impossible to continue to sleep because someboddy was shouting loudly spanish songs while cleaning the room next door. These are what ruined the stay for me.
Pros: Centrally located for our purpose; nice lobby area for meeting/conversation; helpful staff, convenient, moderately-priced parking; clean, well-appointed rooms
Cons: No complaints
Pros: It was a decently priced room close to the city, the hotel looked really fancy.
Cons: The whole experience was weird, you have to pay to park in a parking garage that's attached to two hotels, the lobby is huge and inconvenient. One of the staff was really rude to my wife when she asked for some silverware, and for some strange reason they held an additional $30 for an accommodation fee which we were never told about. It's not a really big deal but the room didn't have a fridge which was a little annoying.
Pros: The friendliness and service of the staff was excellent and the room very clean and spacious. Very good.
Pros: The location, awesome bed and bedding, and my favorite the awesome water pressure in the shower!!
Cons: The space is wide open and was confusing as I entered. The front desk to the right was matter of fact looking kind of none descript. Felt like I was at an airline check-in counter than a high quality hotel and conference center. The back revolving door leading to the parking garage was not high quality and the rug was filthy. The ground in the garage was filthy and there was conference room props, tables, etc in the car garage that made the place feel dirty!
The fake would flooring on the bedroom was noted but the room was clean. The TV menu selection screen was awful!
Pros: better mattress and pillows than i have had at marriott and hampton as of late.
Cons: Hotel is under construction and has no bar or restaurant as indicated.
the room only had sheers not room darkening curtins, not a huge problem as i was faced across a roof.
they told you to pay at a machine the $10 for parking garage but it opened without showing the reciept.
bathroom was beat up but functional

Pros: Mr. C??? (first name) in the dining room supplied us muffins & coffee after the 10:30 am breakfast close and took us to outside the bar area. Was very kind and accommodating.
Cons: Room 447 - had weak water pressure in the sink & shower, after returning to the room at 7:30 pm on June 7th it had not been made up and was told staff left at 5:30 pm and were not available. Room was very cold because the air conditioner was running and didn't have the ability to have heat - had to use whatever the entire hotel was using. Slept in coat to keep warm. Fees for last night stay were waived by Mr. Yasir - Assistant Manager of Front Desk (night shift). Photo of his business card and details available if required.
Room 224 - Also cold 2 nights although 1 night (June 6th) they did turn the heat on which I happened to find out in the middle of the night when I turned the system on. Tried to call the front desk several times and no one answered the phone.
Pros: Check in was easy
Cons: They charge $8.95 for a day pass for wifi. Not classy. Not going there again.
Pros: Great hotel.
Pros: We were having an affair at the hotel and our team headed by Rosaria Costa could not have been nicer more efficient. We had also had our daughter's wedding here a few years ago. I would highly recommend Ms.
Cons: Rooms were not ready when they were supposed to be ready to check in. even though we told the front desk we were having an affair at 6:00. The 4:00 check in time was not honored.
Pros: Location was ideal for our travel. Only 75 minutes from home.
Cons: Conceige was ill informed. Couldn't give us any information on the area or other golf courses in the area. Hotel should have a small store to be able to purchase toiletries, ice cream, soda, water, etc. also housekeeping didn't provide shampoo or wash cloths.
Pros: Proximity to SUNY Purchase. Comfy beds.
Cons: Room smelled musty, like a basement. No free wifi.
Cons: Couldn't get into our room multiple times, even with new keys, due to the keys not working (they said the door battery was low)
Locker room locker also wouldnt let me get my stuff out, they also said it was a battery issue...
Pros: The convenience of the restaurants
Cons: Many kids constantly running every where day and Nite....very noisy
Pros: love the pool and workout area
Cons: a lot of walking to parking lot, but not that it was bad weather so it didn't really bother us.
