All other rental car agencies had three employees, and no more than eight people in the line. Dollar/thrifty had two employees for most the time that I waited. We were there for two hours and the line was probably at least 80 people when I arrived. Interior of car was filthy, but did not notice until arrived at cape - an hour from rental - as pickup area was fairly dark and we had waited almost an hour in line to pickup from combined THRIFTY/ Dollar rental desk. Rental packet from previous user was in center console. Seats were dirty, floor was dirty, scum was throughout console and dark. Almost as if someone had gotten sick and was allowed to dry after being wiped but not cleaned.Reviewed May 15 2023

Long wait at counter. They need better technology. Agent had to reenter information that I had entered when I made reservation. Then, after finally getting through that, cars were not ready, so more waiting. Probably waited an hour combined.Reviewed Apr 22 2023

Pre-paid for a premium but no cars were available. No refund offered. The pickup is outside in a cold, windy parking garage so after waiting an hour I took the only vehicle I could have - a small pickup truck that obviously had no trunk or even certain basic things like adaptive cruise control. Car wreaked of cigarette smoke when I picked it up. I’m allergic to smoke, so it was not ideal, but the garage attendant made sure to note it in her exit check. Muhammad the desk attendant at Logan airport was kind and helpful.Reviewed Mar 19 2023

(1) The line at the Dollar check at Logan airport was very long with only one agent at the desk and it was close to closing time at 7:00pm. The agent was very friendly and did the best he could under the circumstances. However, each check in took about 10 minutes to process. The wait time was about an hour. (2) My rental car had terrible visibility and shimmied from any gust of wind. Parking the car was very difficult because the camera and park assist were useless. (3) The only positives were the friendly agents at check in and at drop off.Reviewed Jan 18 2023

The Boston Logan Thrifty pick-up process was horrendous. They were understaffed and slow. There was a line of 30+ customers trying to pick up cars that took over an hour to get through. The other rental car lines had no one. Recommend another company.Reviewed Jan 12 2023
