The express pick up process was confusing and could have been much more smooth. I’ve done the express pick up on an app before and it was easy and clear. But with Dollar at Logan, the app didn’t provide clear instructions on where to go so I ended up standing in a short line. Overall it was a fairly quick but I paid the extra money to skip the counter, which was definitely not worth the extra cost.Reviewed May 13 2026

counter agent said my agreement with them not valid and required a new contract, more money, lesser car. I was most upset and eventually allowed to see another agent who did finally get me the car agreed upon at the agreed price. They have subsequently increased my fuel option charge beyond agreement. We didn’t pick up our car, because my husband ended up with sepsis and was in the hospital. The reason I gave.Dollar only a mediocre radio is because I called the pick up site to tell them we would not be able to pick up our car, and they would not cancel our reservation, because it was made through you. That was frustrating, because we knew someone else might need that car, so I think you need to change your policy so that when people have a problem they can cancel we tried to cancel through you and found it almost impossible. Even our son who is a computer expert, had a difficult time finding how to communicate with you about canceling our car so not a good experience.Reviewed Oct 19 2025

Awful. My father had a heart attack and I wasted hours trying to change the reservation. I finally gave up and rented a car for the adjusted dates from Budget. I also requested a refund or credit and no one bothered responding. I’ll never use Dollar again.Reviewed Oct 5 2025

Gave me a nearly 3 year old beater van (I recenter a standard sedan) that had a shoddy transmission and had dings and scrapes all over it. Then tried to blame a ding on me. Fortunately, I took a video before driving off the lot so I could successfully contest the claim, but the quality of vehicle and obvious attempt to scam me make me never want to rent from Dollar again (or Hertz group in general).Reviewed Nov 10 2024

Car could have been cleaner. Had an initial for the proper sized vehicle we initially booked. Employees were helpful. The drop off procedure was excellent. An employee actually drove us in the car to our airline which meant we didn’t have to wait for a shuttle bus. That was much appreciated!Reviewed Oct 26 2024
