Step into the express elevators, and be whisked to the hotel’s 35th-floor sky lobby, a fitting introduction to the dazzling views of Central Park and Midtown Manhattan you’ll find throughout. Spacious corner suites include separate bedrooms and living rooms. Pets are welcome.
Pros: Clean and comfortable upscale hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: The restaurant pricing, especially for breakfast, is out of control.
Pros: We went to NYC just before Christmas and could not have been happier with this hotel. Although our room was small, we did not spend much time in the room and therefore it did not bother us! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the location was amazing! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the city!
Pros: Rooms are quite larger, ceilings high. Decor is modern but not colorful.
Cons: Still some areas under construction
Since opening in 1926 the InterContinental New York Barclay has welcomed many guests to enjoy a luxurious experience in the heart of the city. Originally constructed as part of the Grand Central Terminal expansion The Barclay became a notable railroad hotel built to service the men and women travelling to New York City. Today after undergoing its most ambitious restoration the Barclay continues to deliver its residential feel with modern comfort through its signature Federalist style decor.
Cons: Overcharged and met with a $100 "incidentals" fee upon arrival, jacking up the price to that of a much nicer hotel. Con artists and a complete rip off, will not be returning.
INNSIDE New York NoMad is just 4 mi (6.5 km) from the airport and offers a shuttle. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Impero Caffe, which serves Italian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this luxurious hotel offer up nice touches like free minibar items and premium bedding.
Cons: Room location: too noisy; not conducive to getting appropriate rest during a business trip.
Front desk: did not accommodate our request upon arrival. We were moved to a room 2 floors higher, same room location, same noise level.
Pros: The staff were very professional, and helpful. The hotel is nice to bring our dog to, the staff went out of their way to cater to him. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There was a very noisy club next door that made it difficult to sleep. Also I thought that for the price we paid the hotel could have offered free WiFi in the rooms.
Cons: On Sunday nites, club next door is so loud well into the nite making it virtually impossible to sleep.
All light fixtures lack dimmers and all contain very high wattage cold fluorescent bulbs Lighting in room is horrible.
Hvac is not well regulated. Room would get very cold and the only option is too turn off and wait for it to get unbearably hot
Located in Manhattan's vibrant Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, Kimpton Ink48 Hotel is a quarter-mile from the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum; a half-mile from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal; and near the Javits Center and Times Square.
Pros: Gorgeous building and terrace. Lots of light in the room. Unique wallpaper. Decorative fireplace. High ceilings. Vintage phone. Comfy bed, nice linen and towels. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Great baristas at Intelligentsia.
Cons: Broken glass in window. Damaged plaster on ceiling from water leak. Broken, stained and soiled curtain in the bath window. The rooms could definitely use some love.

Cons: The location looked good but entering the hotel was very complicated and dangerous.
Pros: Room was upscale and very clean with zero odors. Bed was very comfortable.
Pros: Very clean and most of the employees were great specially de general manager. The person that takes care of the breakfast was great too
Cons: Difficult access
Pros: The service from the Manager, and two ladies from the breakfast station.
Cons: Entrance way to parking lot from high way was sharp curve and narrow. Outside view from the room was not
Pros: Very clean, and nice clean rooms.
Cons: Right off of the highway. A little difficult to get out of.
Pros: Service was great
Cons: Room was little small, but I liked it.
Cons: Inexperienced front desk person. Lobby needs updating. Dangerous entrance on interstate off ramp. Unappetizing breakfast.
Pros: Hotel was very clean and breakfast was wonderful
Cons: Location very tricky coming off expressway
Pros: Conveniently located off Rte 95 just over the GW Bridge. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Disappointed in free breakfast. Brown bananas and old apples, bad scrambled eggs, stale english muffins. Great coffee, good yogurt selection, good muffin selection.
Pros: Breakfast is very good.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff

Pros: Basic Courtyard- clean, large enough room by NY standards, great location
Cons: Old single pane windows allowed in even more noise than I am used to in NYC. Courtyards are also my last choice among Marriott brands since they essentially provide nothing for anyone with Marriott Rewards status, unlike all the other Marriott brands.
Pros: Location/ lounge/ service

Pros: I was only there one night but I was very comfortable. When I needed questions answered the staff was cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast was great too.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Close to NJ Transit and PATH into NYC. Great diner nearby. Great breakfast in the lobby.
Cons: Only flaw was that it is on a flight path for planes taking off and leaving, so occasionally you hear a plane, but just once in a while. And not overly loud
Pros: We chose Hampton Riverwalk for its location, and it truly worked out exactly, and really, even better, than we expected! LOVED having the shuttle service from the airport, then each day to and from the Penn Station! Your drivers were Great, and made our nervousness about maneuvering through the Rapid Transit in New Jersey/New York, a good experience. Thank you!
Cons: Hotel was full when we arrived, so instead of double Queen beds they gave us King bed. When I asked for rollaway bed, they had none as well, so I had to sleep on a chair.
In the morning I spoke to manager who told me to open a HHonors account so that he can give me some points. I tried to contact him multiple times, but no response.
Nice way to treat your long time customers! Will go elsewhere next time.

Pros: Rooftop terrace, food service, and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bit overpriced. We have had comparable or better stays, for less money.
Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!!
I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I called operator, he sent "engineer" which couldn't do anything he said that's the highest, i called operator and said it's not acceptable, he said the they can't do nothing the whole hotel is set at this temperature (really??). I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason.
WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is,
HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here,
no room delivery after 11:30pm
No parking space,
Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube.
It's not a hotel, it's bullshit!.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location was on Broadway, just one short block from 7th Avenue.
I would stay again. It was a very good experience.
Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: It was a perfect hotel
Pros: The view from the room was perfect, if only I had stayed on New Years! Front row seats to the ball drop! Very clean and luxurious
Cons: Some hidden fees & deposit was larger then website said it would be
Cons: 1. Due to computer glitch, our reservation was "lost", took staff an hour to reinstate it.
2. Refrigerator in the room did not have a single bottle of water. I had to take medication without any water.
3. Ice machine on the floor was broken, no ice whatsoever.
4. Room had coffee machine, but no tea/coffee and water in the room.
Cons: No drinking water available in the room and ice machine was out of order. The coffee in the restaurant tasted like it was burnt.
Pros: Great location, value for money, loved the room, the bar and terrace were very cool. Great vibe and value overall.
Cons: Even with a hotel stamp, parking lot down the street was still almost $50 overnight. Wish hotel credit would have been worth more.
Pros: The location is great but they made little effort in making guests comfortable.
Cons: There was a huge crowd for an outdoor party on the nightclub deck. Our room shook all night until about THEEE AM. You couldn't hear the tv in the room and forget sleeping. It was miserable.
Pros: There was a problem with our bathroom that was not addressed appropriately on the night it was reported. The manager the following morning was profusely apologetic and provided complimentary breakfast for our party, in addition to addressing the problem.
Pros: Fun, modern sci-fi inspired design, excellent food, bar and restaurant were great. Staff were mostly courteous and attentive. Room service was quick. Shower was excellent :)
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed.
The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.
With a premium central Manhattan location and iconic sweeping views of Times Square, the Novotel New York Times Square hotel is situated in close proximity to the Broadway Theater district, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, World-class shopping, and 'Must-See' Landmarks. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience in 4-star contemporary comfort, whether your stay is for business or leisure.
Cons: Tiny room, too small for 4 people, could not open luggage. No coffee or water in lobby. Unfriendly front desk staff. Promised to move us on second night but never followed through.
Pros: The hotel has a lot of things going for it, judging by our recent visit. The property is very clean, the location close to Times Square and Hell's Kitchen is convenient, and there is a subway stop on the same block. The room was very spacious and comfortable. All in all, it was a great stay.
Cons: The only thing to point out is if you're a light sleeper, earplugs may be needed. We were on the ninth floor but could still hear cars blowing their horns and there is a police station next door, so sirens can frequently be heard.
Pros: I have stayed at the Tryp several times (perhaps 8-10x) over the past few years. Overall, the room size is good, price is good, nice little bar downstairs. Decent accommodations for the money.
Cons: The staff was so horrible this time around. Just overall not accommodating. There was no hot water on the coldest day of the year. My husband took a freezing cold shower and the just put their hands up like oh well!
Pros: The location is awesome! The cleanliness and comfort of the room fit my needs well
Cons: Front staff in evening is less than eager to communicate about the room availability and rates. I reserved the room via Kayak and the concept seemed foreign to the staff.
Pros: LOVED the place. By far the best value in the city! the room was perfect for our family! The bar and lounge in the lobby ROCKED! Roman, the bartender was great! The entire staff was super friendly! 5 STARS !!
Pros: Great value! We had an enjoyable weekend visit to NYC with a group of friends. We stayed in a Premium Room with 2 Queen beds, and a pull-out sofa. It also had a mini-fridge and wet bar area. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable with tons of windows. The location of the hotel was convenient to our weekend plans at MSG. Hotel lobby staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would certainly recommend it to friends.
Pros: close to penn station
Cons: I stayed for 4 nights. very loud and i'm talking about car trucks passing by it's people banging on trash cans and construction.
The hotel is next door to a police station. room are good size but decor is modern cheap looking with dispensers for shampoo and body wash glued in the shower.
I would not stay there again.
Pros: Close to subway stop
Cons: A lot of noise in room hardwood floors and thin walls, makes for a noisy experience especially with the exit doors being slammed by housekeeping all day. Could hear full conversations in the rooms from neighbors
Pros: The best service and kindness help from the front desk lady impressed me , as the door keys were not working she took us to our room personally,
Pros: I didnt like anything about it.
Cons: I reserve a room with 2 Queen Size bed when we get there it wasn't reserve for us awful experience the man in the front desk he suggest his going to look for another hotel but we were so tired we just need to relax.
Pros: Front desk was wonderful, just things beyond their control occurred.
Cons: Shower in our room squirted from wall even after repair man tried to fix, had to change rooms, delay in getting extra towels from housekeeping--the biggest and most noticeable is the cleaning staff does not know how to properly clean a room, wood floors not swept in rooms and the space between glass showers and sink have never been cleaned--whole bars of used soap, hair ties, wrappers and etc in the space-- just totally gross-- room 306!! They really need a lesson in how to clean a room!!!
Pros: I like the new trend of wood floors, as used here. Seems cleaner. The rooms are very attractive, but less functional than others.
The beds are very comfortable. There are lots of places to plug in devices (regular outlets and USB) in several places.
Elevators are plentiful and efficient.
Loved having a Keurig coffeemaker.
I interacted little with staff, but all I encountered in the hallways were friendly.
A little off the beaten track, which is good in the city. And right next to a police precinct, which made me feel extra safe.
Cons: There was no drawer-storage in my room (the closet is elevated, so you can put things on the floor of that, plus belowe the closet are two cubbies - one with the iron/board and one with a safe, but not really convenient for clothing).
There was no countertop space in the bathroom for cosmetics, etc.
No minibar, which is a sign of 4* and up, to me.
And all that is provided are paper coffee cups. Some people may like that they may be cleaner, but I like glass glasses, and ceramic cups. Since I brought a bottle of wine, I asked in the bar if I could have a wine glass to take to my room and the bartender said he wasn't allowed to give one to me.
I had a problem turning my TV off with the remote (it would just come back on) and a late night call to the front desk was no help ("Just turn the volume all the way down.") I eventually found a power button on the TV, but the desk clerk should have suggested that.
At check-in, the clerk was not unfriendly, but when he handed me my keycard, he didn't really explain anything about the facility (breakfast, etc.) like people usually do.

Pros: Good location with many shops and resteraunts around
Pros: Comfy rooms, Beakfast
Cons: We were mislead regarding Shuttle times and also Ferry schedules by the staff when reserving the room. Having to leave early on a saturday morning we were told the shuttle and Ferry were active. In reality they were not causing us an additional cost of almost 100.00. In addition one of the shuttle drivers assured us he would be available for a pick up after 10.30. we called at 10.25 for a pick up from the Ferry landing and were told no way- extra wait and xtra cost
Pros: The breakfast in the mornings was well done.
Cons: The service was terrible. If we needed anything, like extra towels, we had to go get them ourselves from the housekeeping area. The room we were given did not have a luggage rack, but when I went down to get one, the staff did not no where another one would be, and instead offered me a trash can to use! The first room they gave us had been heavily smoked in, though it was supposed to be nonsmoking. They did give us another room, but it was filthy. The floors were sticky and there was hair on the couch and bed. The guy at the front desk said "Yeah, sometimes that happens." Will not be staying here again!

Pros: The location and the free breakfast was good
Pros: Close to subway and food. Quiet rooms, nice staff.
Cons: No real dislikes but would prefer the free buffet go til 10:30am and checkout extended to 12pm.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, helpfulness of daytime staff
Cons: Nighttime staff were not very friendly or helpful.
Pros: It's location to Herald Square.
Pros: The staff was WONDERFUL. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. The location was perfect and the room was clean and well maintained. We were able to check in and out quickly with no hassle. We will definitely stay here again!
Cons: The shower door didn't close all the way and caused a puddle of water in the bathroom.
Pros: The staff was very courteous and helpful. Parking was reasonable by NYC standards ($35/night). The room was nicely furnished.
Cons: The room was a little small but that's normal for New York.
Pros: I like the location
Cons: I didn't like that the rooms are too small and I booked two rooms together and they gave me a room on the 4th floor and the other one on the 6th floor and they supposed to be two Queen beds but when we got there they only have full beds
Pros: Location and breakfast were awesome.
Cons: Heater/Thermostat didn't work correctly - it was either too hot or cold in our room with no happy medium. Shower door leaked and wouldn't stay closed.
Pros: It was close to subway lines and other attractions and reasonably priced.
Cons: When we arrived at the hotel around 4:30 p.m., our room was not ready even though check-in was 3:00 p.m. The room we got was a handicap accommodated room which gave us a weird shower configuration and no counter space in the bathroom and a short closet.
Pros: Loved location. Easy walk to Times Square.Breakfast area the kept supplied. Front desk personnel friendly, patient and helpful. Would book this hotel again.
Cons: Liked hotel very much.
Located in Garment District, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Macy's and Empire State Building. Times Square and Madison Square Garden are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: I liked the fact the hotel was close to a Mall and provided a shuttle and had a swimming pool with breakfast included.
Cons: The shuttle was terrible - supposed to run every 15 minutes but what they don't tell you is that one of the shuttles is reserved for airline employees of United and American and essentially, there is a shuttle every 30 minutes that is not supposed to stop at the terminals but it does it anyway. One of the drivers was supposed to pick me up from the nearby Mall and decided not to because he was running late, so I ended up running late for my flight and had to change it. Be very careful with these shuttles - they are quite unreliable.

Cons: My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.
Cons: Items of our luggage were stolen
Pros: Clean rooms,
Cons: Small rooms
Pros: Nice interior
Cons: All staff Ive come across felt like security. They dont respond to greetings. When they selectively ask to see your room keycard to enter the hotel and you see the people in front of you stroll right in while you get "carded" almost everytime...Im a well groomed mid 20's asian business man on vacation what more do you want? And in the heart of korea-town no less! I avoided the staff for the rest of my stay due to their less than friendly disposition and most times they seemed too busy to talk to you because they are allll on their phones textingg! Mainly speaking of night staff. For such a historic Landmark of a Hotel the staff certainly takes away from its authenticity, beauty and glamour.
As far as the rooms go everthing seemed fairly clean and nice. Only issue was the brown water I had to shower in and the air condition wasnt working the first day but their engineering staff promptly fixed the A/C unit.
Pros: Nice hotel
Cons: Check in process was BAD
Booked via Kayak and they did not have my reservation
I had a confirmation #
Took almost an hour to resolve
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff! Loved that everyone was there willing to help. Also liked the security of staff checking to make sure that all guests coming into the hotel were in fact supposed to be there.
Cons: Didn't like that there wasn't a fridge and/or microwave in the room given the price. Room was very nice but for the price I would've expected at least a fridge.
Pros: The room was spacious for NYC standards and very clean and well kept. The furnishings were modern and kept up to date. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep our water, wine and cheese cold.
Pros: We appreciated the entire stay. It was quiet, friendly staff, clean, accomodating, close to subway. Good food .
Cons: We had to leave. We have recommended it to others and will be back.
Pros: Nothing I liked.
Cons: Worst costumer service!! Front desk guests service were so rude. My room was already paid and booked for but still had to wait two hours just to get my room!
Pros: I gues for us-measures this Hotel has to be considered old
The Service is excellent and it is Central
Pros: Close enough to walk many places. Staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: Horrible view from window.

Pros: The staff were friendly and so helpful. The rooms were beautiful. The location was wonderful. Easy to walk anywhere you want to go. Loved it. I will be back.
Pros: Location, location, location.
If you plan on walking and using the subway to get around the city the hotel is perfect as a home base to come back to if need be.
Cons: Don't spend your time at the bar in the lobby...pretty pricey and you can just go to a hidden gem anywhere in the city. Also no room WiFi, but free in the lobby, so not too bad.
Cons: Me and my girlfriend arrived to the hotel at 6pm. Check in time was 4pm but we were told we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the key? I would've understood if it was a computer problem but I wasn't given a reason as to why I had to wait.
Pros: Our room was nicely decorated and was clean. We also liked the fact that the hotel had water and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around the city very easy.
Cons: The room was very small and it was difficult to maneuver around our one piece of luggage and each other in the bathroom. The wifi also wasn't secure.
Pros: Wifi was great and entertainment and amenities on the ground floor were amazing.
Cons: I had to change rooms because of the auto noise on the Lexington Avenue facing side.
Pros: Easy location.
Cons: Noise levels from road were quite loud.
You can't sit in the bar area without buying a drink, even if you are a hotel patron.
I had forgotten my phone charge and the hotel staff was not helpful in providing a temporary replacement, perhaps from lost and found. Instead I was referred to an overpriced in-house gift shop trying to sell me a micro-usb cable for 15-20$.
Check-in is late at 4:00 pm.
Room was tiny.
Pros: Accessibility/ location, customer service
Cons: No sound insulation in rooms near elevators (room near elevator was outrageously loud because of elevator mechanism and doors continuously opening and closing). They moved our room, but could be a problem if hotel is full.
Pros: The room was ok, was not too happy with my experience here.
Cons: The place was a "4" star and the hallways my family and I smelled weed
When I asked the valet parking to get please get my car "I was told it took 20 minutes " I waited 50 minutes and no one came to let me know my car was ready, and they knew I was wait for it.
Cons: Door man was not in a service.
Luggage deposit payable even in waiting for
the room clearance.
Pros: Music at the lobby
Cons: No toothpaste!
Cons: The room had no AC, complain nothing happened, opened window, I could barely sleep because of the noise from outside
Pros: The rooms are perfect a d the beds are wonderful to sleep.the tv is perfect

Cons: Hotel is small, rooms are small, elevators are small, room is not nice, even though it was remodeled without taste or sense of technology. Skip this hotel stay in the hotel literally in front of this one called "The Pearl Hotel". Trust me, it will not be a disappointment
Pros: Rooms are very nice but could use a bit more sound proofing. We could hear the people in the next room. We were in room 717
Pros: Our recent stay at The Time was perfect!
Pros: The staff at this hotel were all amazing. Each one as helpful and friendly as the next. The hotel has a very nice bar/ restaurant attached. The bed was super comfy, amazing waterfall showers, and great room service menu as well. Super central to everything, shops, food, shows, transit.
Cons: Our AC broke over night, so we woke up to a huge puddle and part of the carpet was soaked from the AC leaking, but we we're checking out that day anyway and it was not anyone's fault.
Cons: Very compact room and compact environment
Pros: We liked the simply look of the room and bathroom. Very modern and abstract.
Cons: Our stay was for a short period time so not much to comment on.
Pros: The room was comfortable, a good size and very quiet. Ammenities were updated. It should be a beautiful hotel when the project is finished.
Cons: Hotel was under construction which was not noted in the description. The lobby was moved to the second floor (from the first) and lots of workers and equipment were evident. there was a bit of work dust in the 2nd floor lobby.
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Choose a street facing room if possible, as some rooms are claustrophobic.
Pros: This was our third stay at the Time over the last 5 years and we've never been disappointed. Especially for the price! Staff was super friendly; comfy, modern room; great location in the theatre district and time square; room service breakfast (from the Serafina) was excellent
Cons: Only annoyance was that there was a sign at check in offering 20% off breakfast for guests; so we ordered accordingly, only to find out that room service wasn't eligible. If the food wasn't delicious we probably would've made a bigger stink about it
Pros: Great location, and wonderful staff
Cons: Overpriced for such small and unclean rooms. Our window was broken and we could hear everything at night, which in Times Square is loud and at times unbearable.
Cons: The rooms were dingy. The service was awful. We paid over $500 for the room and we didn't get what we paid for - Queen bed. They first tried to put us in a full bed room and then we had to go downstairs and complain. The rooms looked much better on the site than in "really life". The beds were gross with the blue comforter. The only thing that was nice was the tiny bathroom. I wouldn't stay here again.
Pros: Meeter Greeter
Guests of the property will find a contemporary environment inspired by modern art, natural materials, and the concept of time. Featuring impeccably reappointed guestrooms complete with custom furniture and designer amenities. A lifestyle hotel located in midtown Manhattan's Times Square / Theatre district. The Time is within walking distance to world class shopping, dining and entertainment.
Pros: The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful, even when they were super busy! We had to lock something up behind the desk, had to ask for directions, etc, during our 5-night stay, and they were always very friendly. Really like the location across the street from the bus stop into Times Square, and the hot breakfast!
Cons: More biscuits and gravy for breakfast, please!
Pros: Location is good. Bus stop is near hotel and Manhattan too (15 minutes). Children not pay for bus on weekend.
Cons: Breakfast: egg is like artificial.
Pros: One of the more affordable in comparison to the others nearby. Overall, a good option.
Cons: bathrooms were a bit outdated.

Pros: easily accessible to highways
Good, free breakfast
Clean room AND bathroom
Cons: Thought we could have a view of the water, instead we saw the bldgs
Pros: Really good sty at Comfort Suites. The front desk ladies and the shuttle driver were really helpful, courteous and really nice.
A few things that I want to mention:
1- I requested a corner room, of which I got. But, there was something wrong with the ceiling paneling in the bathroom and the actual panels in the ceiling flapped up and down during the my stay. It was a little annoying but bearable.
2- There was a long hair on the bedding under he shirts when I pulled back the covers. I wasn't grossed out but still, not a good look overall.
3- A huge plus was there was a balcony sliding door that opened and I was able to get a view of the city and fresh air. I really enjoyed that.
4- The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby,
Cons: In a room next to a party group that had loud music and talks until 5am. Called reception, they would send "security" to tell them to stop but nothing happened
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel, it is very reasonable price wise, staff is very pleasant I word reccomend this hotel to any and every one
Cons: There's nothing I disliked about this location, The only thing I did dislike was I didn't see public transportation that could take me to Newark Penn Station wanted to go to NYC via the Path train
Staff very nice at the check inn an out.
Hotel very quiet, not noise b good sleeping environment.
Pros: close to NYC except with traffic could be 1 hr
Cons: no working ice machines. no gym or pool.
Pros: Hotel didn't have our reservation. They were sold out

Pros: good location next to Times Square; breakfast included; king bed
Cons: room was small; noisy - little noise insulation inside; one of two elevators was not working.
Pros: Not roomy, but adequate accommodations with very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Reasonably clean.
Pros: Room was nice and also free breakfast
Cons: Lights went out for hours we had to eat breakfast in the dark with our phone light. Also I was billed higher at the hotel for my room. I used the book now pay later and the hotel charged me more than what website told me the total would be.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location.
Pros: Not much good to say... The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for New York. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end...
Cons: Requested early check in on a high floor the day before I arrived, but received an email at the time I was planning to check in that I could not do so until after 3. When I did check in, I was given the 3rd floor right on the street. The car horns and street noise kept me up into the morning. I was on a non-smoking floor, but the cigarette smell was unbelievably thick. It was obvious they were allowing smoking in the rooms.
One word for the owners... bleach. The bed sheets were stained and obviously old. They should probably be replaced.
Breakfast was horrible. Other than the bagels, there were dry (maybe day old?) muffins, 1 pancake which had obviously been previously frozen, and the juices were basically water. They had actually positioned buckets next to the juice machines so you could throw out the juice rather than drink it.
We checked our bags to go to a show. When we came back to retrieve them, we asked for a cab. The bellman went out front to hail us a cab, but had no luck. He told us he would be right back, and went back in the hotel. After 10 minutes of standing out in the cold waiting, he never came back. When I went in to the front desk, I asked them if they could call a cab. They told me their concierge was gone for the day, so I had to go flag one down on my own! Never have I been to a hotel that could not get me a ride to the station.
The Hotel at Times Square puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Broadway and Rockefeller Center. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and free continental breakfast is available daily between 6:30 AM and 10 AM. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location, if you can tolerate Times Square. Stayed in a king corner room on the 16th floor. Wife and I loved the bed, the view, and the bathroom. Subway doesn't get any closer, entrance is immediately outside lobby door. Gym was spacious, if you need that. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, just too many other choices in Manhattan. For that matter, nice bathroom and comfy bed is all we needed, as we weren't looking to waste time sitting in the hotel.
Cons: Again, location is great as long as you want to be very close to Times Square and all that comes with it. Noise of the city is audible on the 16th floor, but wasn't a problem for either of us sleeping through it. Wifi has a fee, but you can avoid it if you sign up for IHC membership.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice walk in shower (no tub). Subway entrance right outside.
Cons: WiFi wasn't free unless you sign up to rewards club.
Pros: Nice hotel friendly people
Cons: The parking people they are affiliated with are ripoff scam artists! DO NOT PARK THERE
Pros: for the buffet breakfast they write down 18% tip???
Pros: Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, maid service timely, toiletries excellent, service excellent, fitness room spacious, and outstanding location - one block from Times Square, next door to subway stop to SoHo and 2 block from subway going uptown, near great restaurants a block away, and a block or two from most of the major theaters . We have now stayed here three times in the past 4 years - not willing to risk staying somewhere else
Cons: Nothing not to like, except it can be pricey depending on the day of the week you stay ($300-$400/night), but it is worth it.

Pros: I stayed in the shared room, nice for 1-2 nights. The rooms coed it's like a high class hostel. Overall enjoyed my stay
Pros: Luxurious amenities at a fraction of the cost of expensive hotels in Times Square, The Out NYC was a perfect stay for the single traveler. I stayed in their dormitory style rooms for no more than about $80 per night. Single, private rooms with a king bed were available for about $160 per night if you should need the privacy. The dormitory style rooms that are cheaper may very well be worth it for a solo traveler. I found it to be a nice way to make new friends while in the city and an inexpensive way to stay near Times Square at a very reasonable price. Of the many things I enjoyed about this hotel the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were of my favorite amenities. Aside from that, the staff was overwhelmingly pleasant and made my stay a very personal experience. Big thanks to Terrance, Natalie, Steve, Roxy and Ro for their hospitality at this fantastic hotel. I will stay with them again upon return to NYC.
Cons: Impossible to sleep depending where your located in the hotel. If your on the same side as the club good luck getting any sleep at all. I could here the music and the DJ better than I could hear our room TV. Had to keep AC and TV on in attempt to drown out the music.
Pros: Location was excellent
Pros: Good price and location
Cons: AC unit was extremely loud, impossible to sleep well with it on, and it was humid hot summer in NYC. Major bummer. No towels in pool area had to call 3 times, there is barely any staff around ever. People seem to be here to crash for parties or work, not really a vacation hotel.
Pros: The outside seating area attached to our room and the internal attrium. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: We booked a suite. Very small room with only a bar mounted above the credenza to hang clothes. I had to make a conference call the next down so went to a common seating area downstairs
It was dirty with several chairs stained with spilled drinks.
Very loud club which didn't close until 4:00am. Good for young folks less so if you are a little older.
Pros: The mini bar
Cons: The maids
Pros: Liked that 4 of us could have a room where we each had our own bed and tv and be fairly close to great destinations.
Cons: The place is right beside a night club and the room we were given initially was right beside the club. You could feel and hear the music in the room all night. There was also an "emergency exit" door right outside our room that was used by service personnel. The door banged constantly with people coming and going. Seriously the bang was so loud it made us jump every single time - this was every 15 minutes or so the entire night. None of us slept (myself, my 63 year old mom and my 18 year old daughter). One of the Tv's didn't work at all and another had a bad picture - we asked for it to be looked at - never happened. No way to lock the door from the inside and no "do not disturb" sign. We complained about the room but of course they couldn't do anything other than move us for the 2nd night and offer free breakfast (which was actually brunch starting at 10 am which needs its own whole other review). Room was dirty - carpet, sheets...Then the second night we did have a quieter room. While we were getting ready for our show there was a knock on the door followed by a male employee walking right in - no waiting for us to let him in - just walked right in to fill soap in the shower??? What if we had been naked? So bad it was laughable. At least we all have a funny story to tell. A tv and 2 lights didn't work in this room either. Awful awful place. People were nice but didn't follow through on the service at all.
Cons: A staff member member became rude with us in the hotub area. We were compted $50 in room service because of it. Other than that, the place was great!
Pros: I usually stay on the lower Eastside when I travel to New York for the restaurants and art galleries. I selected the out purely on the basis of economics and the desire to do something slightly different. Although there are no art galleries and only a handful of restaurants in this neighborhood it is walking distance to time square and the theater district. If shows are your game, this place is pretty awesome. However for 160 bucks a night with good sheets and a recently renovated modern bathroom I do not feel inconvenienced at all. You can easily take the blue line subway down to Chelsea or Greenwich Village and as long as the weather wasn't as terrible as it was during snowstorm Jonas during my stay you can easily walk east across to the Bowery once you have moved south a bit by train. There's a charming coffee and breakfast place right next-door to the hotel which was friendly and provided healthy food options. The staff at the hotel although not the most polished was extremely helpful during the storm. They were able to extend my stay since I was stranded with all flights canceled for 2 days without gouging me. I had a problem with my television remote which they expeditiously repaired and I appreciated the attentiveness and speed. The hotel restaurant was, meh, just fair, certainly not awesome as compared to most restaurants in New York, but they get points for being the only place open on the night of the storm. And again at bargain-basement prices for the room one as little right to complain.
Pros: Proximity to various NYC highlights is very nice.
Cons: I understand parking in NYC is difficult, but a better alternative could be achieved.
Cons: Noisy in room heater.
