I applaud Hertz for listing their no-show fees up front, but the amounts seem excessive. They disallow making reservations at the counter, you MUST use web or phone to get a car. Staff appeared uninterested in customer satisfaction.....appeared to care little about serving or helping me. The attendant handing me the keys was an exception, he was bright, cheerful and gave me several options to make the rental go smoothly. I wish they had more like him,Reviewed May 7 2023

The rental car pic up at Houston airport is 15 minutes away from the airport and the shuttle bus had long lines in 85 deg heat. The front desk didn't even bother to tell me what car I was assigned. However the actual pick up and drop off were quite simple.Reviewed Mar 4 2023

No one was at the Hertz counter. Usually, Hertz is great. I was unable to select a car from IAH to CLL and did not want to drive 100 miles back HAD WE RENTED from Hertz. We did get Avis to CLL, but it also was expensive. The desk could have been working. at 1:AM.Reviewed Feb 17 2023
