It was a very slow pick up as there was a car assigned to us that was on a recall. So the very nice gentleman had to work hard to have the dispatcher lady find us a new car. Took over an hour. There is no seating in that area, so my wife, who is handicapped, had a very hard time with the long wait. Took 1.5 hours to pick up the car. First car smelled like someone had used it as an ashtray. It also had a check engine sign for oil. Second car was smaller and was a low end car. Smells musty, as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. Horrible customer service. Never had a budget rental experience this horrible.Reviewed Nov 4 2022

The car had a protective film on the window that made it very hard to see out the front window. At times it was quite dangerous too.mostly at night. Other then that all was o.k . The pickup and return was quite fast.Reviewed Aug 14 2022

Pick up at the Houston location was a terrible experience. We arrived, and there were only two representatives working the counter, with at least 10 customers waiting in line. It took about 45 minutes to complete my reservation and get to the car. Once we were provided the first car, we walked to the parking location, and the car was NOT there. We walked back to the reservations desk to get another car. We were upgraded to an SUV, which was a nice make good. However, when we got to the car, as we were starting to back out, we noticed the tire gauge for the left front wheel was flat. Disappointing these major details were not checked prior to making the car available for another customer. Luckily, we found another representative by the cars, and he immediately switched us to a ready vehicle. Overall a really bad experience with Budget.Reviewed Aug 7 2022
