Good customer service at the pick up. Everything explained clearly. However charged 50+€ for an extra fee - I believe that I had confirmed I could avoid this fee if I returned the car back with 80% full electricity. I have tried contacting Hertz but no one has gotten back to me. I am happy to discuss what the fee is but disappointed that no one has contacted me.Reviewed Sep 25 2024

Hertz is okay. The online booking is a rip-off. I specifically declined the collision protection because I had my own protection but it deliberately added that charged me more, there was no need of it. I asked the agent at kiosk to remove it but he could not do it. There were other similar charges which were not explained and felt like a rip-off. The renting started as cheap and ended quite expensive.Reviewed Sep 23 2024

Total scammers. Try to pin us with damages that were previously on the car and the inspection. Make sure you do a full time stamped video of inside out all the wheels and even the underside. None of their insurance covers any incidentals. Double check your credit card if they provide rental insurance (plat amex doesn’t cover Italy) they prey on tourists & do not translate the documents at the end of the stay to steal more money from you. We never got to pickup the car as wrong information was shared online. We booked a 7 seater car only to show up at the airport (pickup location) to find out that they don’t have any 7 seater cars available. Very disappointing after a long journey!Reviewed Aug 7 2024
