I waited in line but apparently was in the wrong location. The next location, I had to wait nearly an hour to receive service. I waited over 20 minutes for the Hertz shuttle to pickup from the arrivals terminal in Philadelphia. It was raining and cold. All of the other rental companies had shuttle buses that went by at least 5-6 times while we waited for the Hertz bus. I tried to call the Philly airport Hertz location but nobody picked up and it went to voicemail. Eventually, I convinced another rental car bus driver to drop us off near (he said he wasn't allowed to drive on the Hertz lot) the Hertz rental center. So, after waiting almost half an hour in the cold rain, we were dropped off and had to walk the last few hundred yards through a downpour to the rental office. Renting and paying wasn't a big deal but there was no introduction to the Tesla controls (I've never driven one before) so I had to park and come inside to request the person to show me how to operate the wipers. Overall, it was frustrating and a huge waste of time waiting for them after a long travel day.Reviewed Jan 26 2023

Hertz employee at checkout counter in PHL was difficult to work with. He also lied and said that he could not change the time on the reservation due to the drop off location opening at 9 AM. The drop off location opened at 7:30 am and he did this in an attempt to get an extra $20 added on to my rental.Reviewed Aug 2 2022

Booked a rental car for Sunday at Philly airport a week in advance because they were the only agents open. Took a bus to the airport and was told if I didn't have a plane ticket for that day. I couldn't rent. Long story short I was left stranded at the Philly airport. F you hertz. You will never get my business again. I would like to say that my experience with Hertz was good. I would like to express that the Agent (Kim), who waited on me, she was very caring, professional and warming. The only thing I would like to have been better is to leave a operable pen inside the vehicle being rented to fill out the inspection form.
