Great car but rude agent
Pros: The car was great. The rental agent was great at the time at got the car.
Cons: Different agent when I returned the car and he was RUDE. The car was dirty at the time of rental.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Couldn't pay with my debit card at hertz. Kayak and priceline' all others do not have the disclaimer of hertz not being able to use the same debit card in the same day as you rent the car. I do not carry another credit card. I was not able to rent the car.

this hertz in minn airport is the most awful place
Cons: everything! the could not find my conformation even though I had the paper work with my conformation number on it; I waited over an hour for a car and that was after being treated so rudely by everyone that worked there. I am also very uncomfortable with the staff being all Muslim. the women wore hijabs and the men were so rude and condescending you can bet that I will never again rent from hertz I am appalled at how I was treated

Car rental
Pros: The staff was friendly. They were very accommodating. They offered water to all of us waiting. Did a great job. Even though they had computer issues and many customers in line they remained friendly and helpful!!
Cons: I wanted to pick up my car at the airport and not being familiar with the area you offered me Richfield. I didn't know where that was and found out it was not the airport. Not helpful to me. Your computers were down and the wait was very long.

Not Hertz's Fault- Carrentals.com is bad
Pros: The person I worked with at Hertz was pleasant and professional. Although the car selection was not what I would have liked and the the location was much further than I expected, she went out of her way to help me out. I didn't see any other unexpected charges that some of the others are reporting here (except car rentals.com being deceptive).
Cons: I used Carrentals.com and I have to share that they experience with them was poor. Hertz made up for it somewhat, which is why I increased the rating overall. Honestly the experience with car rentals.com left me feeling deceived and abused. I was asking for a car rental IN THE AIRPORT and I was given one pretty far away. The interface expected me to understand with no notification that the location being offered was 12 miles away. There was an address given which I assumed was the airport's address. I should not have to open a new tab and confirm that the address offered is the airport address I asked for. That completely breaks trust in the service. Furthermore they did not call out that there would be additional holds and additional taxes. I followed up with them carrentals.com separately and their customer service communication was insulting and unprofessional. And all of this makes me not want to use KAYAK by the way.
