Cons:I had asked for a midsize sedan and they said none were available and gave me an SUV. When I got to the lot there were several sedans out there and people coming out after me were getting in them. Also the gentleman took note of my car number and said he would bring the car up. Which he did not do. After standing in the sun for some time I had to ask another attendant and then walk to the corner of the lot to get the car. They did not have a record of me renting through Kayak and had to call over the supervisor to change the pricing which took up time. JoannaReviewed Aug 17 2018

Won't rent from them again!!!Cons:They had only two reps working and over 50 people waiting in line. It took two hours to get my rental car after getting their and Payless is closed after 10pm so they have it handled by Fox. The reps were rude and there were no cars available. The amount I was charge was not the same as the amount shown on my rental through Kayak and their argument was that it was the taxes. They finally got a manager and although he was able to fix the overcharge but the car they gave me was horrible and not what I had requested. Incredibly disappointed!!!Reviewed Apr 28 2017

Car was great, but DO NOT BOOK THE INSURANCE THROUPros:Car was fine (although we had to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready at pickup).Cons:The insurance that was pushed through the Kayak site was a scam. Waited hours and gave upCons:We arrived in Ontario right on time, but when we made it to the rental car desk we were told to wait. And hour later (with a crying baby) we were told to expect anywhere from an hour to two hours later, or even more. Thankfully, I had made a second reservation at Alamo. They got us into a car. While all of the rental agencies were backed up, Payless was the longest wait with the least amount of information.Reviewed Feb 6 2017

Took over an hour to get thru pick up and exitCons:Didn't have the car we rented. They had us wait. Tried to give us a pick up truck?! Gave us another car, but it took quite awhile to find the lost key. Too over a half hour to exit the lot due to a very slow security officer. Upon return they had us (and other renters) go BACK INSIDE to the rental counter to wait in line again and never did get a receipt. Absolutely awful experience. Car was fine.Reviewed Jan 16 2017
