Cons:
The office is hard to find and upon return they made my wife wait outside due to Covid ( even though when we came to pick up the car we were both allowed in the office). Furthermore I waited in the office for half an hour for them to give me my paperwork after asking twice for it they kicked me out. I now have the entire $2500 deposit pending on my credit card. Meanwhile we barely caught our flight back to the states thanks to this terrible experience.Europcar

Cons:
The address is not correct, the car does not exist and the price is 60 usd (instead of 41 usd) for a cheaper category of car, plus i have to pay the insurance cause they don’t accept the insurance of the credit card. It’s a fraud.2.0 Poor

You should communicate more with each other. In the rental: 1) they didn't have the car at all 2) the price was much higher (from 75 to 185 dollars) I was told that you know it but do not regard it. They NEVER HAVE THE CAR you order AND they try to upsell you $1000 pesos per day... THEY SUCK, NEVER RENT THERE... NEVER... You show up there and you're in a JAM if you're tight with time... They GOT YOU BY THE BALLS and upcharge...Thrifty

Absolutely nothing. Even with a reservation, many days in advance, there was no car for us when we arrived at the rental place. On top of that, the thrifty rental office was closed and everything was being operated through the Hertz office. Worst experience I’ve ever had.Cons:

Pros:
I didn't like anything. I booked a car for 100 usd for 5 days. When I arrived I was told that it is 200 usd, as the initial amount did not include taxes and service fees (100%!!!). Also the insurance was + 300 usd. So, instead of 100 it turned out to be 500. It is insane.2.0 Poor

It was a real joke. The rental company asked me for 10k USD deposit to rent the car. I travel a lot and I use to rent cars all over the world and I was in shock when they asked me for this deposit. I was not renting a Ferrari or Porsche it was an economic car. I do not recommend to rent from there. The rental is managed by Firefly which has essentially bad reviews on the net.One location in Playa del Carmen
