Rooms appeared clean and we'll maintained Breakfast area was under construction, so the management decided to convert a guest room to the breakfast area. That would be ok, if you didn't rent the immediately adjacent rooms out. We got 4 hours of sleep between loud instruction workers, hotel employees, and then a dozen loud people banging around and letting their screaming kids run loose. I thought they were in bed with me. When I tactfully complained to the front desk staff on check out, they were courteous and promised that the manager would contact me (we paid $184 for 1 night and I felt we were due some degree of compensation). 5 days passed without a call, so I called back and got another front desk employee (it appears the manager isn't around much). He promised to pass on my info to the manager and gave me the managers office #. I left a voicemail at that # and as of today (1 week since our stay) there is still no reply......I have them a chance to make it right and they didn't care enough to even return my call......I'll vote with my feet
An excellent hotel. My room was a fully-equipped studio. My one complaint is that my room was not cleaned from one day to the next.
The location and staff were nice. I checked two rooms one smell like mariguana and the other smells like cigarette, no Windows, too dark inside, its doesnt have enough light.
It was awesome. Friendly staff and clean
The rooms were very clean and spacious. I believe the room was upgraded… It came with the Jacuzzi and gas fireplace…that I did not ask for. The staff was very accommodating when I asked for a room on the second floor and the complementary breakfast was very good
I like the fact that my room was upgraded being that I inquired about the jacuzzi in the room at which I didn't know wasn't initially included in the room I originally reserved. It was an easy ride into the city and a decent price. Room was clean with a modern tv that we were actually able to connect the Amazone FireStick to so we could binge watch on movies. It's next to a few fast food restaurants, liquor store, and K mart in walking distance. Not to mention, I asked about extended check out and was asked what time I wanted to check out, so I ended up leaving at 1pm. I was very satisfied with my stay. There wasn't much not to like. It was worth the money I spent on a Saturday In Atlantic City.
One of the workers of the hotel went into our room when we were gone and went through all of our belongings. We caught the worker in the room when we came back from beach. We had to call the police. We did not feel comfortable staying the night there, but hotel refused to give us our money back. After much battle between the hotel, police, and me, I was able to get part of our money back. I did not like anything. The hotel was extremely dirty and not taken care of at all. Having a worker of the hotel in our room was scary and unprofessional. They were looking for money, but thankfully we had our purses with us. I think that you should take this listing off of your website.
Checking out in the morning was awesome! This quite possibly was the worst motel/hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. There were blood stains on the blanket! No lie. The room smelled like somebody's bed ridden grandmother lived there. There were hairs in the sink that did not belong to me. How unnerving is that? Did I mention that there was a blood stain on the blanket. I'm watching Training Day on the tube, 'bout to take a a siesta, I unfold the blanket, only to reveal a burgundy colored stain about the size of a Vienna sausage! The manager of the building was some East Indian guy, and he had his teenage son running errands. The fact that he was from the Indian subcontinent is irrelevant. The fact is that he was a b.s. artist to the ninth degree.
Nothig Close down the moel for renovation
It smelled, had flies, dirty pillows, broken microwave, it's the worse place I ever stayed.
proximity to places of interest. poor value for money; pathetic facilities; bad & old furniture; no customer service.
The location was conveniently close to Atlantic City. It was digusting. The first room they gave us a key for, when I opened the door, the room hadnt been cleaned from the last person. So they gave me another room. We went into that room, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It wasnt. It smelled like a wet ash tray & there was a ash tray on the table.
Well, I stayed here because it was cheap! The room wasn't as clean as some of the hotels on the boardwalk, but it wasn't disgusting.
This was the cheapest hotel to stay at during the weekend and worked out very well for us.
Room was not as clean. Bathroom need major update. Water was freezing cold. No hot water for long time. Got west tower. DO NOT recommend west tower . So crowded waiting for an elevator. Have to show keys all the time.
Very nice room The views out the window
Variety of activities and events, also plenty of restaurants that are themed around different ethnic groups. When I get to my room, it is handicapped designed. Windows so dirty I can't see out of. Nothing to control the climate of room. Water was scalding hot and no cold at all. The next day I was able to get another room.
Location Don't know on who's end it happened but they lost my reservation checking in took way to long. Had to show room key each time to get to elevator so annoying
The accommodations was great. They where able to get me the room that I asked for. Everything was absolutely great.
Terrible room in west tower, bathroom wouldn't lock, toilet didn't work all the time, and you could hear elevators running all night in the room that sounded like a loud roller coaster.
I always stay here when I'm in AC. it's close to the beach, has shopping and food options inside for the rainy days, its own movie theater and gym and three night clubs!! That the Night clubs are weekend only. so during the week you have to venture out to party.
The night club was so much fun!!!
Found one in our bed. Confirmed by security. Management gave us the runaround -- had to call three times to get someone with authority up to our room. Disgusting. Poorly handled.
Liked the location on the AC boardwalk. Knew it would be worth the cost Spacious rooms, clean, decor food
Shower was aweful! Poor water pressure! Beds were lovely!
Leaving Smell of room, cheap amenities in room, inadiquit lighting in room
Wifi included I wish it should have microwave
Clean and had a good buffet Extra charges for basic amenities (wifi, asking for plates forks and knives for the room)
Cheep Pools where closed for renovation Could not receive rewards card (10pm was too late) No remote No room service past 12am Pillows VERY small Bed sagged in the middle Room smelled like mildew Carpets where stained beyond belief.
Bad service Towels were discussing, I have a better pool( dirty ...) in my backyard I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all
I like that the casino was right downstairs. We paid $622 for a weekend stay. They placed us in the oldest tower. There are 5 towers that the hotel has. We happened to get the oldest one. The bathroom was old the bed was stiff. Just a horrible experience. I will never stay there again. Room service was ridiculously overpriced. Watch what you order. A box of pizza and some gingerale ran us like $198.00 smh. Never again.
Affordable. Smelly rooms, barking dog til midnight called 4 times they finally must have dine something because it stopped. Food is very overpriced and slim on any choices for special diets (I am celiac). It was our first time in AC and I can say we won't be back.
Outdoor pool party, the room were very clean, None, none, none
they took all my money
The lobby is very nice, the food was really good, the pool was good as well. The rooms are a bit outdated, no toothpaste in the rooms, customer service in the check in site is okay. You can hear the other guests in other rooms from your room.
We were woken up 3 hours before checkout by housekeeping. They rushed us to leave the room and didn't give us ample time to pack and leave. We were not allowed to stay until check out because housekeeping wouldn't allow it. Very disappointing and rude.
It was located right in the middle of everything. You can walk to anywhere. The pool was for use by those 21 years old or older only. We had to go to ballys to use the pool. I didnt know that when booking the hotel.
While AC seems to be running down, this resort seem to be getting better. Unlike may stays in AC at other hotels, with the exception of Revel (closed) and Borgata, most place have become dirty and old, Caesar's room were spotless, nothing seemed old or run down (and I stayed at the old tower). The restaurants in the center lobby was pleasant to have dinner and a drink , connection to the mall was convenient, and the third floor restaurant in the Mall where very impressive and Manhattan like. I would recommend a couples weekend here, even for those who stay out of the Casino, as I did.
Room faced lobby, was bright all night long, tons of noise coming into room, room was not ready when we arrived as offered online for 3pm check in, waste of 200 dollars, didn't sleep all night due to light coming in and noise from lobby traffic, would NEVER stay if here if had a choice elsewhere
I just came back from Europe that was a month long, this hotel is totally a replication of the hotels in Europe! High quality rooms that are extremely clean! I won't stay anywhere else now!
The room was nice but you need to be at the rite tower. Staff was rood at registration,we booked 2 rooms but they only showed one, also they wanted to give us double beds although we booked one king size bed.
Every thing was goog Every thing was good except the smell of smoking butchers us although our room was non smoking
One of the best places to stay in AC
I got a great deal on a room in the Centurion Tower (about $125 a night even after the resort fee, which was about $26 a day that they charge you at the end) and wasn't expecting a lot, though the room had a great view and was quite beautiful. Maid service was proficient in keeping it clean for the two days my girlfriend and I stayed there and I was overall very satisfied with the value I got while staying here, despite the bad Yelp reviews. The TV in the mirror (which I think is an item only available in the premium rooms) was broken, and when I called maintenance about it, they said most of those mirror TVs throughout the hotel were broken. It wasn't an essential feature of the room, though it was unfortunate that it didn't work.
The room I asked for, I did not get.
The overall hotel experience was fine. kayak experience was not fine. Registration was a mess and the 45 plus minutes I spent on the phone with Kayak was terrble. Kayak and Caesar's did not work well together. The coupons were poorly handled as well.
The view N/a
It's as if a pipe was vibrating between the walls, but it would happen every 15 minutes. Very annoying while trying to sleep.
Food was great. It was fun and mistly clean. Room service menu was very limited. Had to call 3 times for room service and was told i couldnt irder off normal menu had to use limited menu because casino was cutting back.
Half of the bathroom lights didn't work, including those above the toilet and shower.
Great location for the beach and the convention center. Lots of nice restaurants, although with the downturn in AC, they are not frequently open. Atlantic City is a morgue. The hotel is really long in the tooth. I had an electrical outlet falling out of the wall in the bathroom. Paint was peeling from the ceiling in the shower. There was a round table but no desk. For a convention city, I would expect a desk.
I liked the service when I checked in. They provided a cot for my room to accomadate me and my family. I didn't like that there is a $5 charge per person for the pool. If I'm a guest it should be included with the stay. I moved the table and there was crumbs left from God knows when. They should clean better. The rooms need to be updated. The elevator was also annoying putting the key in to get to your floor.
Extra pillows. Changed my room without a problem. Staff were kind. Room was spacious and what we needed. Double charged for parking. First room was smoke smelling, phone didn't work, and NOT a "quiet room" (right next to elevator is quiet room??). 2nd room was better. Wifi was extra charge but was told would be free. Very expensive
Check-In person was terrific. She was so apologetic when our room was no ready yet and she had to spend some time working things out, finally moving us up to a suite ;-) Speaks well to their customer focus! All was great!
Hotel was clean Non-smoking room that smelled of cigarette, staff could of been a bit more friendlier
No surprises, no problems. Comfortable and close to everything: the boardwalk and other casinos. It could get a little newer but I'm not complaining.
Paid for a king but they ran out they said and was put in a room with two full size beds. We are a couple and had to each take a bed because it was so uncomfortable.
Good value. Very nice room. Free parking was a plus. I've never liked resort fees. Confused about WiFi rules/possible charges so didn't use.
Guy Fieri's restaurant was awesome. Amazing food and staff there. Request a table with a view at restaurant it's a great view. Our Room had a beautiful ocean view as well. Check in is horrible. 45 mins on line on a Saturday. We complained and were told it's like that every weekend. Almost missed our dinner reservation because of it. Stressful way to start. The whole lobby and casino smells horribly of cigarette smoke. There is terrible separation of non smoking and smoking sections. This really was a bad issue. Rooms not bad but not great. If you get a really good price it's ok but we spent almost $400 a night and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THAT. Go to Borgata for that price instead. Lesson learned for us.
The water pressure in the shower. First off they overcharged me. I paid for my room in full here on Kayak and then they hit me for more fees (RESORT FEES) on check out. Secondly the place is just the biggest dump. Stuck in the 70's. I wanted to barf.
Attentive staff, nice facilities, and beautiful design. It certainly sets itself apart from the rest of Atlantic City. Room was dirty. Chipped furniture, somebody's dirty socks on the floor, grimy bathroom and the sheets had holes in them and smelled like cigarettes. Was hoping to avoid that in a non-smoking room. Also, got bitten by bedbugs in my one night sleeping in the bed.
Very nice hotel, clean rooms, nice staff. Nothing.
great spa! the view from our room was not great.
Nice showers!! Late check in time and early check out time.
The hotel is really nice and gives a luxury feeling. Liked the decor, the pool and the shops/restaurants in general. The customer service is very friendly and professional. The air quality isn't great. They allow smoking inside. Although there are smoking and non smoking sections, you can smell the smokes everywhere.
Nicest casino in AC The beds were terrible
The Borgata is beautiful and luxurious. We loved the architectural touches and art everywhere, and the various restaurants. The hotel room was lovely and very comfortable. Terrible terrible idea to put a smoking section immediately outside the elevators to the hotel. My family and I are all sensitive to smoke and, although we knew there would be smoking areas, expected we could avoid the sinus-assaulting stench. Fail! The pool area is lovely, but the water was cloudy and screaming kids throwing footballs were uncontrolled. Ugh.
I really like the poker and the poker rooms. very large and lots of tables would not let us take cooler to room and did not tell until we got there. Would not let us have a luggage cart to carry luggage to room, what is up with that
Atmosphere Prices on alcohol
SHOWER HAD ONLY COLD WATER AND HAD NO PRESSURE BREAKFAST WAS SERVED WARM/COOL EMPLOYEES HAD ATTITUDE. I WALK WITH A CANE AND I NEEDED TO SIT DOWN THERE WAS A TABLE HIDDEN AWAY WITH ONLY ONE PERSON PLAYING THE MAN WHO WATCHES THINGS SAID GET UP IF YOU WANT TO WATCH "I CANT SIT DOWN" I ASKED THE DEALER BEFORE I SAT DOWN BUT, I JUST LEFT. THE MAN WHO TOLD ME TO LEAVE WAS COLD AND WITH A NASTY TONE. I WILL GO TO ONE OF THE OTHER HOTEL EITHER THE golden NUGGET OR HARRAHS.
Lovely hotel and amenities. The outdoor gardens were beautiful..We went to the Water Club pool the day after we checked in. Restaurants were fabulous. Water Club only allows access to pool area after 4pm on day of check in!
We enjoyed everything except when walking around the slot machines & main floor of gambling... poor ventilation & smoking is really an issue for me. However, it's not a deal breaker just have to find places in there where it impacts the less. SMOKING! :-(
Quick check in Room was not as clean this time. Very expensive for what you get there.
Spa is great. Great restaurant options, would prefer that they have some open longer into the night. Staff is friendly, check out is a breeze, Pool was being cleaned on a Saturday, seemed a bit illogical considering many people were waiting around for the pool to open up and it opened at 5, only to close at 8. Smoking areas dispersed through the casino so it's a bit unavoidable, bad idea especially with it being right before the room elevators.
A lot to do within the casino and hotel Expensive with nothing included
I loved everything especially the pool
Staff was rude. Never again!
The Hotel was very clean and spacious Did not like the casino security staff they was very disrespectful and I felt a lil racism, it was my fist time visiting Atlantic city and I would never stay there again
The Modern look of the rooms. House keeping could have done a better job of dusting and removing left over hairs in the bathroom by pass guests.
Nice room. Hot tubs could have been hotter.
The Jitney service is the only reliable thing left in Atlantic City. Golden Nugget still advertises having a heated outdoor swimming pool & hot tubs that are open year-round when in fact it has been closed down for the season. I ran into many groups of people that also booked rooms at the Golden Nugget expecting to use the advertised facilities only to be told after arrival that the pool deck has been shutdown. Shame on Golden Nugget for false advertising and misleading paying customers! Avoid this shady "resort" casino and stay elsewhere.
The hotel cancelled my reservation before I got there even though they assured me it would be there. And then wouldn't give my money back.
The Deck The room view Gym/Spa H2O Pool/Bar Could hear next room TV Pay for exercise room? (I understand paying for spa) Room could use some type of pull out table for eating Entire stay everyone was very polite except the valet lady running the parking.
At a conference-dinner was excellent. Heating unit in room was very noisy when coming on-kept waking us up.
Staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for a room about noon and they got me into one right away. The room needed a refresh. The grout on tile in bathroom was bad. I lifted the toilet seat and immediately was greeted with a pubic hair. The little bit of comforter belt (fashion only, bot an actual comforter), and decorative pillows were dirty and stained. I suspect they are not often washed. The bedside lamps were sagging, their mounts were poor.
Easy check in. Hotel was dirty! Our room smelled like someone smoked pot in it. The heater was very noisy made a loud clunk when it went on and off. It was worth maybe $100.00 a night not what they charge!! On the bright side it was the only hotel I read about that didnt have bed bugs, I looked it didnt. We wont be back
Very big and beautiful room. Very nice and clean and the staff is excellent. Not all the tables in the casino were working. The parking lot is far from the hotel and the way from him to the hotel is not simple.
None Everything service was terrible the room was never cleaned the two nights that I stayed. I had to call front desk to get towel. I will not go back there even if it was free
The location was convenient. The beds were comfortable. The fitness hours are 10am-6pm. This is useless. The staff was not customer service oriented. It was highly unorganized and not efficient. The restaurants did not not have vegetarian options.
It was less busy than the other casinos. Roberts steakhouse was amazing. Dealers and casino staff were A+ friendly and helpful. It was over priced for the quality of the rooms. Dated and not top notch anymore. Also smelled like weed alot It was over priced for the quality of the rooms. Union workers were on strike...and they were rude. They struck themselves right out of a job as it was announced it was closing.
i like all no like cloes
The bed & pillows. Spacious room. Security was present at all times. Its unsanitary condition. Not maintained properly. Room had a bad odor. 2 of the towels were dirty. Toile flush was not working properly. The employees on strike was sad n annoying at the same time. I've stayed here a couple of years ago and it was great. But I will never come back here.
It was terrible. Everything was closes. Gross place
Location to the beach was extremely close. Parking was convenient. There was a number of fine food choices in the hotel. Chairman Tower room was very night. The remodeled bathroom did help my overall opinion. Charge for parking. 6pm check-in time/12 checkout. Housekeeping tried to kick us out early. Pool closes at 6pm (check-in), so no pool. Checked in, got to our room, keys didn't work. Frankly, when this hotel was new I'm sure it was amazing. It seems money is not being put into upkeep.
Nothing The entire boardwalk is deserted. Atlantic City is a mess
Price, proximity of food, large room, cheap parking Room quality a bit lacking
The decor was beautiful and everyone was friendly The protesters screaming at us anytine we left the building. Would have been nice to know BEFORE booking.
Room was fairly cheap compared to close by casinos and still luxurious and clean. Pay your staff. A fairly good amount of staff were on strike outside the entrances to the casino. Maybe this is why the rooms were cheaper. I think we should have been notified that a loud stike has been in progress for quite a while now. Either way, stop being cheap to your employees.
Perfect location for shopping, casinos, beach and restaurants! There wasn't a refrigerator and microwave in all the rooms. But we made do with our cooler.
The room and hallway were all permeated with smoke. It was unbearable. AVOID at ALL COST!
View was fantastic and the rooms were great Self parking was full when we checked in, tried to call the front desk and they weren't very helpful
I have stayed in a lot of different hotels and I have to say that the staff that waited on my husband and I where absolutely PHENOMENAL! From the minute we got to the parking garage to the minute we pack up our car they were nothing but courteous and friendly. Especially the concierge woman Chrissy that I dealt with upon arrival. I think she could tell that we had already had a long day and she just absolutely took care of us with any questions that I had. She always had a smile on her face and she was very easy to talk to to and did not make me feel like I was a burden when staying there. She would be a main reason as to why we would stay at the Sheraton in AC again. Thank you!
My wife and I went there January 1st to January 3rd to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff was professional, polite, and friendly. The room was beautiful, with nice pillows and sheets. We were walking distance from restaurants and shopping, and had a wonderful time while staying at this hotel. I hope others go there too. It's a great place. I wish the room had a refrigerator in it. But that was no big deal compared to all the other things the hotel had to offer.
Very outstanding valet..its allway good to see them
Location! Convenient to shops, parking, roads & highways/expressways, & (most especially for my purposes) right across the street from the NJ Transit train station. (I ride the ACS Bike-a-thon every year that I can. Now that the Bike-a-thon is back to ending in AC, I drive down with family ahead of the event, stay & park at the Sheraton, take the train back to Phil. the night before, then bike back to AC with the ACS. Meanwhile the family has a full-feature shore weekend - without disruption from my participation in the Bike-a-thon. A win-win!) Usually nothing: You get what you pay for & usually that's roomier, quieter, cleaner & more comfortable than a lot of hotels & motels in AC. Since the Sheraton does not have direct beach access or a casino, the price is usually less expensive - even for a June weekend. This year however, competition from an ANIME" convention (who knew), appears to have driven the cost up a bit. Still, cost/value ratio wasn't too bad, & the ANIME" attendees were entertaining - sort of like a colorful carnival in the lobby.
All the staff were very nice and accommodating. Very nice room, spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was average but nice. Bed was comfortable but pillows very flat. Overall great experience and very close to Tangier outlet. Had a great time. Would definitely stay here again Pillows
History of miss America displayed in lobby, and prints of previous winners. Also complimentary Starbucks coffee was nice. The staff was very friendly too! It was a hike to the beach & Boardwalk !
Great price, Close to all the action.
I love to be there, everything was clean, excelent view, good costumer services
Great staff and the prefect location
clean rooms very nice but set up was strange
Friendly staff and good service Bathrooms need to be updated
The bed was comfortable. Rooms were very outdated, had a mildew smell, bathroom was outdated and do not like liquid soap, shampoo etc on the wall where you can not even see it.
I asked per my reservation for two beds and upon arrival I was given the wrong room. The person at the counter was told of the error then made the mistake again. Eventually I just switched with another couple I knew were staying there.
Character of place Not much
Location was perfect for my trip. Grounds looked great! Rooms need to be renovated. Rooms need to be renovated.
Shuttle service to another wedding venue was great. Driver was respectful, buses were well stocked, great experience. The clerk at the front-desk did not know what she was doing. She took my debit card as a deposit. OK I can deal with that, but when we checked out, she must of rang it twice b/c when my wife I checked our bank card, there was a hold of $100. Being budget conscience, that $100 was unaccounted for. When I called and asked for clarification i was told that it could take 3-5 business days to clear.
Beautiful rooms gorgeous hotel and very pleasant staff
Beautiful grounds and golf course. Public areas were well maintained. The staff were nice. The hotel room was in very poor condition. Peeling paint and wallpaper. Holes in closet ceiling. Old chipped furniture in the room. The bathroom had a broken floor tile and the bath tile was in very poor condition. Overall it was an old tired room in need of renovation and not worth the almost $200 nightly rate.
Good location. Nice setting. 3 weddings. Restaurants and bar facilities limited due to wedding guests. Noise until 2 am from wedding guests.
Staff was great. Very clean. Food and cocktail service was also excellent no complaints
we loved the nostalgic indoor pool, and family recreation room. breakfast buffet was well organized, hot, and had plenty of choices for all. i think that the breakfast could have been included for the price, but it would not stop us from staying there again.
No soap . No towel in shower . Had to use mine ... dirty . Bed had a big dent on it springs busted. Birds in the ceiling ... making noise .... worse hotel ever ... Im inching . Might have bed bugs
Nothing at all, worst service i've ever had. EVERYTHING, this place was the dirtiest hotel i've ever seen. We couldn't even stay there, instead we slept in the car. We got switched to a second room after we saw a cockroach in the bathroom (The same bathroom that had no nobs for the sink). This place is a sad excuse for a hotel/motel and should be sanctioned immediately. -100000 stars if i had the choice.
Nothing to like Didn't like anything .very dirty smells
The room smelled like mold and cigarettes and we were on the non smoking side. The room door was not sealed good so the wind in the hallway made it seem like someone was trying to get in, so we had to place a folded piece of cardboard in the crack of the door to stop the noise. The shower head sprayed so wildly I had to shower with my back to the shower head which wet my hair up. Smh! Not a good stay!
Friendly staff Things were falling off in our room that heater broke while we were in there the door wouldn't open with the key card ever lots of sounds in our room coming from the air vents loud people in the hallways at all hours of the night the smell of marijuana in the hallways somebody was jiggling are knob we had to evacuate not a good stay
The comfort was second to none n cool decor. TV was terrible n nothing to do in that area except the Trop. Was never told in advance about security deposit.
Location is great Hotel manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Hotel room was old unkept and dirty. For almost $400 a night that hotel room should've been pristine.
The Chelsea main tower location was clean and the valet staff was nice. The halls and elevator are very dated. The weekend rate was way too expensive for the overall condition of the hotel.
Walking distance from boardwalk and casinos. Nice view. Comfy bed. No coffee in room. Toilet paper holder fell off wall. Hallway needed much improvements. No adjustable shower head. Most common areas were closed, for renovation ahead of summer season.
the water pressure absolutely terrible!! how do you expect a person tp take a shower under trickling water?
The shower had no water pressure and there was no hot water
The facility had great access to the beach, a beach bar, and a relaxing roof top pool with bar. Rooms we're a good size. Staff members were not very welcoming. They weren't mean or rude, but didn't seem like they enjoyed their jobs or the guests. Older hotel so not many elevators, but what made it worse was when the service personnel put the elevators on hotels on hold during the busy mid morning. The hotel needs renovated badly. The hallways had stains on the carpet and the walls looked dirty. The rooms had damage to ALL the furniture which is weird because they make you put down $125 security deposit if damage is done. Sooooo if people are beng charged $125 when they cause damage then FIX the damage! Not staying there again. I'll pay a little extra to stay at the Tropicana.
I love the room it was clean and comfortable
My husband and I loved the fact that the entire hotel is non-smoking. We were right next door to the Tropicana which was very convenient. it was nice leaving after our stay and not having to walk to a smoke-filled casino to do so.
The lobby and rooms were just tired. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding but the decor needs updating. Everything was clean. No coffee maker in the room or free coffe in lobby was disappointing. Seems that is standard in most hotels now. We had almost no hot water both days.
None Staff was okay and room didn't have a view
Location, amenities, room HVAC was not working but the staff responded and fixed it quickly. They were willing to move us if needed. Price was nearly $350 for one night with parking, taxes and fees.
Very clean, updated, friendly staff, great room-- best beds. A quick walked to the board walk from the hotel. A soul food restaurant one block up the street. I wish breakfast was included, however a fridge was in the room, just bring some food or snacks.
Location was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk staff that checked me out were not very friendly. I had questions on my bill and she did not even address them. She needs training on guest service.
The room was clean, stylish and the beds were comfortable. Had to pay for parking. No pool/hottub.
Nice size rooms and very modern.free wifi was a plus to have. None
it was very comfortable everything was very well as place I really enjoyed myself I didn't have enough time to stay longer
Got my moneys worth very clean everyone was soooo nice That we had to leave :(
Fast check in and out. Friendly, polite staff. Clean rooms. Prompt valet service. Elevator access was limited and very slow
It was a good place to be. Not close to casinos but not a bad walk/drive
The price was perfect and hotel is very clean and rooms are very nice and well mantained. Did not have free parking
Very nice rooms, I was very pleased. Hotel requires valet parking. No breakfast included. Some of the channels were scrambled and unwatchable.
I liked that we can go outside right to the beach and rides . I liked the security guard checking everyone's room keys before you can get to the elevator. The staff is very polite. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable too. Check in is late. We requested an early check in because our daughter needs to nap after going on the beach and before our 6:oo dinner reservation . Also a sign that there is a food court would be good to put in the lobby. Did not realize it was there.
Located directly on the boardwalk and beach. Plenty of restaurants within a few mins walking. New bathrooms. Rooms were comfortable and were inexpensive. Ocean views from the room. Would definitely recommend. Really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect getaway for a few days for adults. I would not advise bringing children. Besides the beach and the pier, there isn't much for children to do. The room decor seemed a little dated, but that was the least of my worry. There was a mouse in our room (not that a mouse would hurt anything, we just didn't want it to get into our suitcases and food) and the front desk was more than willing to switch our rooms. Not that I was worried about it, but I figured there may have been a little compensation, but we can't control nature.
Todo estaba nuevo y limpio Las almohadas para dormir estaban muy duras
I liked the room. I liked the casino. Elevators are nice. Bathrooms too. I liked the ocean view from my room. I don't like the Parkin garage. N checking area is confusing. Not a lot of food options in the casino but not bad.
We booked 2 rms. for a wknd. party of 8. Had a great stay! The staff were pleasant and helpful everywhere we went. Live music at Margaritaville on Fri. night was awesome with good food and great drinks. The pool and pool bar Sat. afternoon was fun and friendly. There's so much to do in the area- we went parasailing, spent time on the beach and Boardwalk, and went to the beach bars and a couple of nearby casino clubs (we didn't sleep much!) Resorts was a great base for our weekend with plenty of space in the rooms for all of us and plenty of on site options for food, drinks and music.
Location , all activities , No promotions or comps that would make me stay here instead of another hotel
Restroom is not clean, reservation is not the right amount, noise all night
Beachfront access, on the boardwalk, good parking, excellent staff. Old, worn-down rooms and bathrooms. Bath instead of shower. More expensive than the one next door (Taj) which is a much nicer room, floor-to-ceiling windows, modern, updated and cheaper.
Beds were ok The bathroom was outdated. Bathroom floor blue tiles and shower curtain were dirty. Carpet floor looked dirty. 2 dusty closets I WAS DISAPPOINTED
Close to everything we wanted to do Requested rooms together, they said it would be a problem...they did not keep that promise.
The room was spacious The entire hotel to include the non smoking floor smells like Cigarettes
Nothing Was screwed out of the King size room in the ocean tower that I chose specifically to be near friends in that tower in a king bed. Was given a queen bed in the Rendevous tower, far from our friends. Our bed was only a queen. For $53 PLUS the $20 in taxes PLUS the $10 resort fee- I feel ripped off. Don't let people book rooms if the hotel doesn't have them available!
Easy access to boardwalk , dining and casinos. Staff was excellent. Bathrooms needed some updating. More hangers in the closet.
Really terrific stay overall. Connected to 3 Casinos, while not being a "casino hotel" was great. Staff was very friendly and professional The decor of the hotel itself is old-school and charming, while the standard rooms feel like a modern hotel. Really reasonable rates. The pool area is very nice with lots of seating and mock-cabanas. When we went it was overrun with kids, but I know there are adults only hours in the evening (which we did not take advantage of - should have!) Only minor complaints here - towels in the room are small, and when we requested extra (we were initially provided two towels for a 4 person room) we were told that all the towels in the hotel were in use! But it was only a couple hours before they brought us more. No big deal. The elevators can be terribly slow on occasion. Most of the time its fine, but there were one or two instances where we waited a solid 5-10 mins for one to come. The drain in the tub is slow, so if you take a shower you will be standing in 2 inches of water by the time you're done.
AC kept returning quickly to auto mode and setting the temperature higher than comfortable.
Room was good size, roomy In room fridge Check in was difficult to find from self parking garage Not enough towels in room Room phone was broken Could not check out on TV
Tv did not work, should have received a refund
Price Elevators are almost impossible to get. Tv was broken, called the front desk about it, they lied and said they were sending someone up and never did. Children and families running around even later on in the evening
nostalgic and classy our fridge didn't work, but they replaced it immediately. the ice machine in the hall didn't work, had to go two floors away for ice.
The place was close to the beach and board walk, staff was friendly, hotel itself was comfortable and clean. Terrible restaurant! Went there for breakfast- I've never seen someone mess up an egg so badly! Staff was extremely slow! Overall it wasn't a big deal, and they were very nice. Oh, and the drinks they served were awful!
Liked everything about my stay at the hotel. Nice big spacious rooms. Good value for money. Very close to the beach. Lobby area had a weird smell. Restroom in the room did not have a fan.
Used a spare blanket from the closet in the room and next morning woke up with sand all over myself and the bed. Called in the morning to report the issue, room was made and sand and dirty blanket were born left in room. Called again in the evening and sand was finally taken off the bed but same dirty blanket was left in the room. Finally at around 9pm a new blanket was given to me and I was told that the spare blankets in the closets were not replaced unless asked by the guest. That is disgusting.
The king size bed The bathroom was small
There's a classic Atlantic City feel to the hotel that cannot be outdone by most other properties in the city. Rooms are more spacious than others and everyone was helpful! Even their self-park employees were so helpful to give us helpful information on the hotel and its neighbouring properties (especially since the food choices helped our starving selves upon arrival.) Would have been nice if the counter at the second floor, which looks like a check-in and concierge counter itself, told guests to turn around and check-in at the first floor. It makes the hotel look a percent abandoned, so it makes that little spot look more like a museum half-done.
