Alan, Nov 2024 - Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel
A great location. But this property is showing its age. Noisy fans and carpets that could be newer make this 5-Star hotel a 4-star in my book. You are near transportation, shopping and access to the heart of Shanghai. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I will definitely stay here again...but I hope some of the rooms can be modernized!

It has a great location and is a very good property. It is a bit dated.... It could use new flooring and more silent fans in the A/C . Otherwise staff is helpful and the facility is 4-star.

Anonymous, Jul 2017 - Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel
Pros (+) Staff was responsive and tries to help.
Cons (-) It appears that more female staff are recently hired, which is great. More materials need to be provided to them to help them know what tourists generally ask about. One thing I noticed about mainland Chinese is that that they do not give details but only a generalized answers. The more experienced staff are okay. But the newer staff should be told to be more specific because world travelers are n...

Stephen, Jun 2017 - Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel
Pros (+) Staff from front desk, club lounge, restaurant, operators, and housekeeping needs to speak better English. The English of the staff is compared to an Elementary student.
Cons (-) No English communication skills. We asked fo freeze our bag for our baby milk and they failed to freeze the bag causing for my baby's mom's milk to spoil. When checking into the hotel, we were told 1/2 hour until room ready and proceed to the club floor. It took over 1 1/2 hours and the room was still not ready. They switched us to another room and after 1 hour and 45 minutes later, we finally got...
