Anonymous, Apr 2025 - Hotel de la Poste – French Quarter, A Renaissance Hotel
Location is great - Courtyard is a great respite from the bustle of Bourbon street and surrounding areas. Property overall is nice. Our room had no door on the bathroom by design, just a sheer curtain. Not ideal, I don't care how long you have been married. $30 destination/resort fee is ridiculous as this is not a resort with limited on premise options. Hair dryer in room was broken much to the ba...

Barrett, May 2018 - Hotel de la Poste – French Quarter, A Renaissance Hotel
Pros (+) Location was excellent. Very unique style from a distance.
Cons (-) I felt like they just tried to hard to be edgy with design, at the sacrifice of function. For instance, there was no shower door, and a lot of the seemingly trendy elements of the room were cheaply made so stuff like the closet door seemed like it was hastily put together from IKEA. The blinds were nice looking inside the room until you realized they let the sun in immediately in the morning, so t...

Cons (-) it was a little too pricey for me to stay there if I were not there on business

Anonymous, Jul 2017 - Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette French Quarter Area Hotel
Pros (+) The concierge & the guys that helped with three luggage were very nice & gave us some great places to check out.
Cons (-) The elevator broke down Saturday & we were on the 16th floor. There were notes put under the door to ask you to avoid the elevator between 8 & 12 on Sunday there were going to be a lot of people checking out. Helpful but I felt they should've been done. Our toilet would make this loud screaming noise about 4 or 5 times in three middle of the night. They did have somebody come up & check on it, but...
