Wonderful
Amy, May 2024 - Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront
This place was amazing. The location was great - next to the port to get on our cruise ship. The view was awesome, staff was wonderful and friendly. The heated pool was a nice perk we enjoyed. My family of four were comfortable in our room. Plus, they let us check in early and out late! Definitely stay again.

Room cleaning every other day is ok but not what was acceptable pre-pandemic and hotels have been slow to bring back full service. Breakfast was not great but was complimentary The room and location were great and staff very helpful and friendly

Patty, Jun 2020 - Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego La Jolla
Pros (+) Very accommodating and willing to answer all my questions even during these uncertain times. Very friend staff very willing to help and still offered breakfast even if it was still a grab and go. It was a unique choice.
Cons (-) Honestly I think they are doing very well with the limits they are given right now.

Okay
Jill, Jan 2019 - Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego La Jolla
Pros (+) Nice rooms with full kitchen.
Cons (-) Room was not clean. First was put in a room that had not been cleaned at all, then moved to one that was not well-cleaned. I'm not picky about this stuff, but it was definitely sub-standard. When i pointed it out, i was offered extra Marriott points, which are pretty useless if you son't stay in Marriott's often, as i don't.

Cons (-) Hidden parking fee, outdate rooms, neat but not exceptionally clean rooms.

Anonymous, Jan 2017 - Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront
Pros (+) Great views, amazing beds, spacious rooms, excellent free breakfast in the morning, nice staff, clean rooms, and one of the best locations in the downtown area. Excellent value for the price with short walks to anywhere in the downtown and along the bay, or if you don't want to walk it is a $4~ Uber to Gaslamp/downtown. Will stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown!
