I thought our rental deal was too good to be true. We booked through Kayak, But we were pleasantly surprised with the Tampa airport location. The staff were friendly and didn’t push any extras on us. The rental car was clean (Nissian Versa) the staff friendly & courteous. I would 100 % recommend them if you need a rental car in the Tampa area. Just a side note. I also look the car over before taking it off the lot, I also video the entire car inside and out for damage. And take pictures, it does take a few extra minutes but gives me piece of mind.Reviewed Nov 19 2022

When I arrived, I was told that they were out of cars. This was a lie. I waited 30 minutes to get a car while hurricane Ian was bearing down on Florida. The airport closed 3 hours after I left. When I picked up may car I saw at least 50 Sixt cars available. They flat out lied during a hurricane crisis. They had plenty of cars, just none that they would rent to me. I had a full size but they had plenty of SUVs and luxury brands sitting idle. I find this disgusting and would never rent from Sixt or recommend to anyone.Reviewed Oct 3 2022

I initially booked the rental car under my name but I needed to add a second driver due to medical issues. I was charged $15 a day for a second driver despite the fact that it was clear that I could not drive.
